That's what some people don't know and they are just too quick to criticize DDG while he has been the saviour of united. Harry Maguire has been one of the reasons for Manchester United's poor defensive performance. There was no way a manager would spend about £80 millon on a player and kept him on the sideline because it would look bad on him. Despite Maguire's constant defensive blunders, OGS was still playing him and then came Ralf Rangnick who continued featuring him. His mistakes got to a point that even C. Ronaldo advised Rangnick to drop him. It was ETH that had the balls to relegate him to the bench. DDG is still a top quality goalkeeper, ETH just don't want him and he prefers Onana because he's very good at passing the ball around with his players.
Erik Ten Hag has always prioritized taking players who have defended Ajax, so he also really wants Onana to come to Manchester United. Regarding De Gea, in my opinion, the success of Manchester United is due to his contribution as a goalkeeper, but I also don't deny that De Gea performance at the end of the season had decreased, maybe because age affects playing productivity. But the reason is simply because this season is not comparable to Dea Gea contribution while at Manchester United and I believe he is still the best goalkeeper.
When De Gea asked for a raise, that was only natural, but the request was not at the right time because he was under Erik Ten Hag, who adhered to black and white principles. Thus the solution is for De Gea to leave rather than stay.

I'm just delighted that United is addressing their team difficulties by adding and removing failing players who aren't living up to their expectations. Erik Ten Hag may be attempting to raise the club's characteristics, and he deserves some recognition. Manchester United's defense is a substantial weakness; their defenders are always committing mistakes that lead to goals. Despite the fact that David de Gea made blunders, Harry Maguire made more. Manchester United will continue to add new players in order to improve the club's performance.

@fiatless, you got it wrong. the David Dagae never told Manchester united to add his salary, David dagea even cut off his salary to remain in Manchester united. But Erik Teg don't want him to stay anymore, his target in on Onana,  no keep will perform better in front of Maguire, for many season David Dagea was Manchester united player of the season, he did his best for the club and the end up badly, there was no farewell honour to him as legend.

let's watch out how Andrew Onana will perform, this season.

David De Gea was one of the highest-paid goalkeepers in Europe. But his performance has reduced drastically in recent times, yet he still wants the same wage. Manchester United is unwilling to grant him such a lucrative contract. Andree Onana will be a better and cheaper alternative. He is still young and will spend more time with the Red Devils. If the deal to bring Onana fails the club might consider bringing back the loaned Dean Henderson from Nottingham Forest and also put much effort to sign the Japanese international goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.

De Gea's performance is not too bad He is even included in the ranks of the 4 best goalkeepers in the Premier League based on the number of goals conceded after all the success of Manchester United finished in 3rd place was due to De Gea's efforts it's just that Manchester thinks his ability will slowly decrease and they need to regenerate. I agree if the salary should be lowered and allocated to a new goalkeeper unfortunately De Gea did not agree and had to be released.
De Gea has indeed expired his contract since last month. And currently De Gea has a player on a free transfer status. But even so, Manchester United still seems to maintain a relationship with De Gea. Because it is reported that if Man Utd fails to bring Onana, it is very likely that Man Utd will return to negotiations with De Gea. So Man Utd asked De Gea not to be too hasty in choosing the club he would visit. But now De Gea is also getting offers from Arab clubs. if I remember correctly Al-Nassr is a club that wants De Gea. but it seems there is no further news about this. Plus last week Al-Nassr had some problems with FIFA which could even make Al-Nassr unable to register the players they managed to bring in if FIFA really sanctioned Al-Nassr.

The young goalkeeper from Japan, Zion Suzuki, will only be used as a second line goalkeeper. And not to be the main goalkeeper. So Man Utd's target for the main goalkeeper remains Onana or look for someone else. if it fails then Man Utd will try to re-sign De Gea.

indeed Man United has regained its performance after Erik Ten Hag provided a good strategy and contribution from last season. but for me Man United doesn't need to look for a new striker because they don't have problems in the attacking line but need a reliable goalkeeper at this time like Onana. because if MU can't get a reliable goalkeeper, MU is a little less sure about competing in the champions league.
I'm not a Man United fan but I support MU if they immediately recruit Onana and sell De Gea
I can't even agree with you. Weghorst has been going back again to the burnley. MU has no good striker at this moment. How can you say that if manchester united doesn't even need a striker at this moment? The fact that if MU needs a new striker that can help to win the game and make as many goals as possible. Intermilan and atalanta have been refusing manchester united's offer at this moment. It's very hard for both of clubs to accept low offer from united. ETH needs to find another solution to get new goal keeper and striker with affordable price.
MU is a poor team now caused by it having no money to buy the new player and goal keeper. Ten hag needs to sell more players this season to add more funds to the club.
ETH needs to find some solutions for that. I meant MU must look at the cheap striker and goal keeper.
Well I agree with you, because after all Manchester United need a striker to add to their power in attack. I actually see that they can still rely on David de Gea rather than bringing in a new goalkeeper, but that is the decision of the coach so David de Gea must leave Old Trafford.
Last season, they were very lucky because Marcus Rashford could be a player in their attack, but in some matches, they really struggled. So they have to add at least one more striker for the upcoming season, because with the current squad, I think it is too risky.
I know ETH is a coach who brings good changes, but that doesn't mean we should be complacent and fully trust the strikers they have at the moment. So I think they should bring in another striker, I agree with you.

Arsenal officially introduced their new signing, Jurrien Timber from Ajax, with a five-year contract. He plays as a centre-back and can also fill in at right-back on occasion. He is a talented young player who is very good for the depth of the Arsenal squad, especially now that Arsenal are updating their squad list to face next season's increasingly competitive competition. Mikel Arteta appears to be very happy with his new signing and it was unexpected that he is still on the hunt after signing Declan Rice from West Ham. The transfer fee for Jurrien Timber is reported to be 40 million euros plus 5 million euros in add-ons and I think that's a pretty normal fee for a player as good as him.
The deal was agreed days ago but few obstacles and delay kept the announcement stalling until yesterday. I’m still waiting on the Declan Rice deal that has been agreed on a week ago, Arsenal have sent words of encouragement that the deal is very close to completion and announcement. I really can’t wait for this particular deal to be done and dusted as I fear something might go wrong along the line. I am really eager to see what Arsenal can do this season with the signings they have made this season.
It's true that there are obstacles that Arsenal haven't been able to clearly describe regarding the official announcement of their players in the summer as we know from Jurrien Timber. But so far the process that has gone smoothly and has had no problems is Kai Havertz and he even started the pre-season match yesterday with Arsenal.

As for Declan Rice, a few days ago I saw him training with Bruno Fernandes and Rafael Leao in Portugal and I don't understand why he was in the Portugal squad yesterday. Cheesy

But now I think Declan Rice is in London preparing for an Arsenal announcement ceremony and the whole deal has been officially closed for a fee of £105m as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

Liverpool experienced a decline in form because Mane left, as well as when Ronaldo left Manchester United to join Real Madrid.
Good players will definitely be missed by their erstwhile club, but if the team is made up of quality players, their absence will not be felt that much or for a long period of time. Liverpool didn't have a bad season because of Sadio Mane's exit, they had a terrible season because most of their players were in horrendous form and the manager wasn't able to bring the best out of them. I think clubs should always allow their players to leave if they say they want to, a football club should not be built around a few players but the entire team.
The departure of Sadio Mane broke a potent striking link that was a terror to any club defense in the world. Mo Salah and the Senegalese striker understood each other so much that it was easy to get goals with less effort. But Liverpool began to recover towards the end of the season and were able to at least achieve a Europa League slot. Clubs should also groom younger players that will replace stars player because they can leave at any time. Players should also be allowed to leave because forcing them to stay will make them ineffective.

Man United have wanted to keep David De Gea for next season, but the contract and salary deals are the main obstacles and demanding to be the first choice in the Man United squad cannot be given by Ten Hag. Because Ten Hag prefers goalkeepers who can build attacks from the back, which is why currently Onana is targeted to replace De Gea. It's only natural that Ten Hag did this because every coach has his own vision and mission in building a squad and so does he.

One thing for sure when it has entered into the heart of a manager to kick off from his team not needing your services anymore there would always be some clauses  made available to easily device such intention. David Dgea is one of the best keeper's in the EPL and have kept a great record performance for the club UTD, what happened last season to Manchester united finishing third position due to series of conceded goals wasn't an issue of bad goalkeeping but from multiple defensive errors. When a club defense becomes loose the goalkeeper can't do much no matter how good he might be and that was the predicament David Dgea found himself.

I think Man United needs to recruit players in the bottom line because the number they have conceded is quite large, this indicates that they have to make changes in this sector. Maguire and several United players are reportedly set to be released in this transfer window and Ten Hag will need to find a suitable replacement for their captain if they are to become a strong challenge to reigning champions Man City.
Andre Onana, one of Inter Milan's foremost goalkeepers, will be remembered. Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has left the club as a free agent, stating that he has no intention of renewing his contract because the club was unable to agree on new conditions, which included an increase in his salary and contract terms. Erik Ten Hag is determined to bring the Cameroonian goalkeeper to the club by whatever means necessary. The transaction has already reached a crucial point, with payment details still awaiting approval from both parties.

Manchester United have improved their performance quite much since Erik ten Hag took over. He started with finishing in top four and qualifying for the Champions League already. This is a really good start but the board and fans will expect more than this next season. Manchester United will need to be in a title challenge as soon as possible like in the old times.

The current squad is actually quite good for that goal but there is still some weakness. They really need a striker and goalkeeper signings now. Onana deal is nearly done though like I said before. Yes, as far as we can see, Manchester United performed pretty well last season so they were able to compete in the top five of the standings and get a Champions League ticket. Next season's Premier League will not be long away and all EPL clubs are carrying out various updates for their clubs, including by bringing in some new ammunition to strengthen their clubs in competition. This season will be more prestigious and I don't think there's anything wrong if Manchester United takes the initiative to add strength to their attack line to further strengthen and sharpen their attack line. Manchester United need a player who can create a lot of options and I think Kolo Muani can do that. Last year Kolo Muani was able to develop rapidly, he has shown significant progress in the Bundesliga. I think apart from bringing Onana there is nothing wrong if Ten Hag considers bringing in a striker like Kolo Muani, because with his arrival Kolo Muani will be able to sharpen the Red Devils' line of attack.

Manchester united coach has brought positive changed to the team, and he is ready to improve the team next season by release some players that will cause poor performance next season so that he can bring some potential players in this summer that will improve the team in all competition. Based on the arrangement Erik Ten Hag has put on ground against next season, showed that they will not end up in top four in the premier league competition next season, because their strikers will be more organized and more active in goals scoring. I think, Manchester united coach will do everything possible within his power to work on some areas that will make their defense and midfield stronger through out the competition.

Manchester United recent advancement and top fur finish are undeniable signs that Erik ten Hag has made positive modifications. But in the next seasons he will unavoidably face higher expectations. The team will be encouraged to achieve new heights by the board expected demand for a consistent title challenge. Regarding their hopes of playing in the Champions League their first objective should be to successfully go through the first few rounds of the new format and qualify for the round of 16. While accomplishing all of these goals is not impossible doing so is an incredibly difficult endeavour that calls for even higher performance levels. Utilising the transfer window effectively should be a primary focus for United in order to increase their chances of achieving these lofty goals, especially with the purchase of a quality center forward.p
When it comes to tittle charge,Manchester United is another club that will definitely challenge for the tittle next season. They have a very good coach in Ten Hag who knows the modus operandi of operation in the premier league, and therefore will do everything possible to make good use of the transfer window so that the club's aim will be accomplished next season. They have signed Mason Mount from Chelsea in a fee around the region of 60 million, and according the reports,Mount will not be the only signing coming into Old Trafford in this window, they are still looking at other options that can strengthen the squad for next season.Ten Have knows fully well that there will be massive Competition next season because other teams will also strengthen their teams ahead of next season, therefore,he must be fully prepared in terms of tactics, formation and the squad depth so he can still maintain his top four.

Strengthening the defense for Arsenal is the right decision, with the team everything was fine with the attack, but the defense required a significant increase. Timber seems like a promising player, Artetea is worried about the depth of the squad and it's good, as Arsenal will also be playing in the Champions League this season. It is reported that Rice may also join the team today.
Next season with Arsenal qualifying for the UCL will of course divide the focus apart from the domestic league as well as playing in the UCL, I think the back line really needs to be overhauled properly using new players whoever I think Arteta chooses the best for his club, that's why maybe Timber is Arteta's best choice to guard Arsenal's back line.

Given the increasingly fierce competition, of course Arteta doesn't want to lose another chance to win the league like last season. Arsenal have to admit that Manchester City is more consistent at the end of the season, while Arsenal are not really consistent at the end of the season, that's why Arsenal might concede goals so easily, so they need a strong defense. in the coming season by bringing in good players in arsenal's back line.

There is no doubt that Man U has improved compared to a few years back, this happens in football, clubs have their crisis times as they can't be shining all the time. That was Man U's time and I respect the contribution of other coaches before Erik ten Hag which people will hardly talk about. The steps to getting to their current level were not achieved at once. To me, the guy (Erik) met a better club compare to when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge, and he contributed his quota.

Nevertheless, I will hold my peace until the end of next season for further outlook. Man U was lucky also that Liverpool and Chelsea were not in good feats, just as Newcastle blew a good opportunity to finish in the 3rd place.
Next season will certainly be the most challenging season for Erik Ten Hag, because several teams that previously appeared inconsistent are trying to improve themselves by finding weak points last season and trying to change them by bringing in players who have the potential to lift their game.
Last season the top four and also the European competition zone did not have competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, but this time the two teams are improving themselves, and especially for the champions league zone Man United will get the biggest challenge from Liverpool maybe also Chelsea, so they can't be careless , failure in 2-3 matches might make it difficult for them to stay in the top four, so Ten Hag has to fix what is still the weak point of his squad, because of course they don't want the biggest defeat in club history to repeat itself, and maybe Man United is not only targeting the top four but the English league title which had been long enough they could not achieve.

But it is still ambiguous who they will go for when it comes to striker signing. I said Hojlund before but I haven't heard of any offer.
Manchester United team has improved very well under Erik Ten Hag and both the board and fans are happy about this.
But then everyone wants more for Manchester United but I do not agree with you, the current squad cannot do anything more than they did last season if they do not make significant changes to the squad.
Do you remember that at a time Manchester United would have been strong contenders of the English Premier League title if they got squad depth. They were reusing their squad like Arsenal and eventually caught up by fatigue.
