I think it's right time for him to move on. Fact is his situation at Man United doesn't seem as positive as before. It's an unfortunate that De Gea has no other choice but to leave Manchester United this summer. I want to take a moment to thank him for all the magical years he spent saving Man United in goal. He truly was an incredible asset to the team. Now, perhaps it's time for Ten Hag to take advantage of this opportunity and find a good goal-keeper like Onana who fits well into his philosophy.
This season De Gea has made 38 Premier League appearances and in fact he has conceded 43 goals in all Premier League match. He's not as good as he used to be in the 2016-2017 season and the 2017-2018 season, so of course De Gea has to understand enough why the team expects another goalkeeper. In the last two seasons, De Gea conceded 100 goals where he played full time in the Premier League, so isn't it true that Manchester United's move to bring in another goalkeeper is right?

I know he may still be comfortable at Manchester United, but in several matches De Gea seems to be no longer the best goalkeeper for Manchester United. Onana is doing well with Inter, but I don't think he will come to Old Trafford soon even if he gets an offer that is hard to refuse.

De Gea is simply not as good as he was before. It is actually amazing that he was still the main goalkeeper of Manchester United after such bad performances. He should have been replaced a long time ago. In the back, Manchester United had only two major issues. One is Harry Maguire and another is De Gea. The stats speak for itself.

I see two options for Manchester United right now. If they want to keep De Gea, he is obviously not going to be the main goalkeeper of the squad. And the other option is that Manchester United let him go. I think the second option will be better for both parties.

Wow, De Gea is really leaving at the end of the month? It has been a 12-year journey here and he must have become a legendary goalkeeper for his team already. To tell the truth I have always admired De Gea and put him among the best goalkeepers of his time. But he is still 32 years old now so I wasn't expecting him to leave already. I thought there would be an agreement and he would play for at least the age of 35 or so. But as far as I have read it is due to the dead-end in the contract negotiations.

Because he doesn't want to earn less than 375,000 pounds a week while his team has plans in the opposite direction. In this case I also hope to see Onana there. He must have the most number of saves in the Champions League this season. This guy is just a machine these days and at least he can be a wonderful replacement for de Gea.  Smiley
De Gea, who is a Manchester United legend, is either deadlocked in contract negotiations or just feeling bored. Because so far he's been quite special for Manchester United, but if De Gea wants a higher salary, of course, in my opinion, it's worth the hard work so far. I am sure that finding a replacement for De Gea will not be easy, because even though Onana will now try to be an option, adjustments and Erik Ten Hag desire are the main things to survive. Not least since the arrival of Erik Ten Hag, several players who were originally part of the main team have been benched. The big challenge for new goalkeepers is to gain the coach's trust.

It does take time to build a team when you are bringing in new players into the club. Todd Boehly cant take ownership of Chelsea from Abramovich and expect things to be going in his favor in the first season after sacking Tuchel and bringing new coaches and players into the Chelsea team. No team has ever remained formidable when there are so many changes made in the team in terms of players and coach.

From the picture above, 90% of Chelsea players are gone out of Chelsea. Remaining 10%. The 10% would soon leave Chelsea.

It's unfortunate that Chelsea had a bad season last season, I am looking forward to it being corrected by the upcoming season by Pochettino and his new signings(players)
I agree with your assumption because it's too difficult to build a solid team in one season when management and players have changed. Chelsea have made a major overhaul of their squad which in the first season has not been able to produce the expected results, but they have the opportunity to perform well next season.

Pochettino, yes I am thinking about that guy. Pochettino has succeeded in making a lot of changes to Tottenham during his time as coach. He successfully won titles with PSG and next season his capacity and ability as a coach will be tested with Chelsea. For me Chelsea just need to be patient until finally they are able to compete tightly in the Premier League again, but expecting to return in 2 seasons after big changes is very difficult.

Chelsea changed a lot after the British government forced Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich out of Chelsea as owner. Then Todd Boehly took over the club as the new owner which in the end made many changes on the management side. I think Erik Ten Hag already has a potential replacement for David De Gea if he leaves, I think Andre Onana will be the candidate if he will replace De Gea,
Whilst André Onana is a decent goalkeeper, i do not think that he is a good upgrade to de Gea, if Manchester United are going to let de Gea leave, i expect them to replace him with someone who is far better than he is, and i don't think Onana is that guy. De Gea has been quite exceptional for Manchester United all these years, but i think it is high time he left the club, in the last couple of years he has become famous for making really costly mistakes, thus for both parties it is better he leaves now and take up a new challenge elsewhere.

Even though de Gea is a great goalkeeper for Manchester United, but if de Gea's performance has decreased then of course Manchester United should look for a replacement. But regarding André Onana, I think André Onana will still stay at Inter in the next one or two seasons because after all, André Onana is still under contract at Inter until 2027 and currently André Onana is just in his first season at Inter. Thus, it is too soon or maybe it is not right if André Onana is immediately linked to replace de Gea in the near future. Besides, I think that Manchester United's defense is weak because maybe the defenders are still not quite right, because for Manchester United's goalkeepers they often concede goals due to the poor performance of their defenders.

Chelsea is in a awful situation, and its high time for effective control. The current spree of acquisitions mirrors reckless spending, not deliberate team development. Look at Mason Mount. An extraordinary talent considering an exit. Manchester United' 40 million proposal was declined, but Chelsea's 70 million price indicates a likely departure.

How can Chelsea stop this slump? They should aim for a unified team, not just hoard elite players. That's the tough reality they need to digest. Quickly please
I think it's mainly because the owner wanted to put his name on the paper and make these type of changes so that he would be considered a good owner, which wasn't really a terrible decision on the short term because it made him look like he was someone who agreed to spend a lot of money on players and that's what an owner has to do, that's the only thing about them, it is not like the owner is making decisions on which players to get, he just pays the money and the team staff ends up getting the players.

That is why this was not a bad move, it was actually good move for him to be liked by the fans. However, the result did not come but it is quite alright because owner wasn't seen as the reason why the results were bad, and that is still good for him.

The end of de gea's journey in manchester united. The recent news said that if de gea will be leaving from manchester united in summer.

https://twitter.com/utdreport/status/1669689873320607746

So many fans are willing to see him stay even longer in manchester united, but he knew that if united was looking for a new goal keeper to replace his position. De gea may be fully benched in the upcoming season. I think this is the main reason why de gea will be leaving from manchester united in summer.
MU is trying to get onana from intermilan as a new goal keeper.

You think De Gea should leave Manchester United at this particular moment. Despite the fact that his circumstances may not be as favourable as they once were we must remember and value the heroic years he spent defending the team in goal. De gea has unquestionably been a tremendous asset and his accomplishments deserve recognition. In terms of the future it is exciting to think about the possibility that Ten Hag will seize this chance to find a custodian who complements his worldview. Given his skills and suitability for Ten hag playing style Onana might in fact be a good fit. Only time will tell how things turn out but change frequently presents players and teams with fresh opportunities.

Erik Ten Hag would suffer a significant loss if he lost De Gea from his roster for next season; after all, he is not on the Red Devils' retained list. David De Gea's contract with Manchester United expires on June 30, after which he will be a free agent, and his new contract remains pending. United have not yet triggered the extension of his contract, but conversations have taken place, and the club's new contract proposal for David will result in a £375,000 weekly salary cut, which I believe the Spaniard will find it hard to accept. De Gea's contract has been active since 2011, and his presence has been extremely beneficial to the club's growth.
I think Erik Ten Hag already has a potential replacement for David De Gea if he leaves, I think Andre Onana will be the candidate if he will replace De Gea, the current stage is still negotiating because De Gea doesn't want a salary cut with his new contract maybe that's the reason where he will go but we never know if this will be maintained or even let him go in free agency.

I know Erik Ten Hag only wants to overhaul the squad of several players including goalkeepers, defenders, midfield and strikers but we have to know that Erik Ten Hag has a strong instinct which player he needs.

De Gea has earned his respect in Manchester united whether they decide to let him stay or live, he has spent more than 12 years of his career in Manchester united, that's enough to move into another place because why are they trying to reduce his weekly pay off when they will still bench him at the end of the day. They should allow him become a free player and let him decide his next move, he aready had lots of critism last season from everyone even when he still did his best by taking Manchester united to the Champions league.
If De Gea doesn't deliver a lot of success for Manchester United then I'm sure he could really go from there but so far De Gea has been doing quite well so there's no way Manchester United will just let De Gea go.
If the aim is to reduce player salaries then it is wrong because Manchester United will definitely take another player to replace De Gea's position.
I actually think that De Gea should still have to play there to be able to strengthen Manchester United in the Premier League and Champions League next season.

I don't remember the rumors about Chelsea before Pochettino joins this team but from what I can see on transfermarkt there are already many players they linked to Chelsea however I guess these players are not in the pochettino's list because the rumors are mostly old.
Pochettino is probably getting the list ready for the next season because there is still nothing new.
That list was not reliable. It's too old and never got update. Where are ugarte, caicedo, osimhen, even onana? That's why i can't fully trust it caused by transfermrkt rarely updating it.
The recent news if ugarte rejecting chelsea's offer. Caicedo is still in talk with chelsea about his future. Chelsea wants to sign caicedo from brighton. Brighton will let caicedo to leave from the club as long as chelsea can afford to pay one hundred millions pounds for him.

Mcallister has been going out from brighton with cheap price. Brighton is trying to robbing chelsea once again. I hope that chelsea will not make mistake again.
That list was old list (probably last year).

Yes, maybe this is part of the process for Chelsea's progress, if we look at performance, especially in the Premier League this season, Chelsea did get very bad results, but maybe this is normal as a journey that might be quite long. There have been too many disappointments for Chelsea this season, especially from the Blues fans. Now Todd has brought in a lot of star players, even though they are in the same class as star players, they still need a process to be able to adapt to other teams and players. I see here that there is no chemistry between the coach and the players so it is difficult to achieve cohesiveness in playing. Hopefully the arrival of Pochettino who was chosen as the new coach is able to fix the problems that have plagued Chelsea and make progress for next season. Occupying the top five positions in the Premier League final standings next season is very good for the start of the Blues' progress.

Chelsea is actually very good at recruiting star players, Chelsea's only fault is in the coaches and club management who like to change coaches. not a useless player, but a Chelsea coach who can't maximize the potential of players. It's like what you mentioned Aubameyang and Kai havertz who said they were useless for Chelsea. Look at the goals that have resulted in titles in the past... See also Mohammed Salah and KDB being thrown out of Chelsea, what will become of KDB now at Man city?

Pochettino includes the courage to train Chelsea, he is not worried about being fired via telephone like Tuchel who has presented the UCL. can he last long?

Actually chelsea was damaged by the FA and the English government itself. Where FIFA also imposed double rules because of the Invasion which had absolutely nothing to do with football.
Yes. That's right, building a strong team doesn't necessarily happen instantly, everything needs a process, that's Todd Boehly's mistake when he first took over ownership of Chelsea. Chelsea should need to learn from Man City, they need how many seasons to win the UCL league trophy.

Transitional periods are indeed difficult and take time, it is difficult to build chemistry and adapt to each other is a real problem for Chelsea due to the large number of new players who have entered. But I don't think Pochettino can change Chelsea. My suggestion is that Chelsea management should call Marina Granovskaia and Peter Cech again. they are both important figures in the club. Moreover, Granovskaia is smart in making all decisions regarding player transfer policies.

I think it is not that much difficult given how Guardiola has managed City ever since he took over as manager. He has made then PL champions 5 times out of 7 seasons and that really shows the kind of spectacular record Guardiola hold rights now. I think in 8-9 seasons he can make them equal to United if things goes like this. City are in control in whichever way you see and despite United and Newcastle improving, I don't see them getting dominant the way City are right now. I would say its very much achievable if Guardiola says for long term.

I think Manchester City could perform as good as they did in the just concluded season and perhaps, go ahead to win the premier league title again next season. Pep has really done a lot to change the fortunes of the club and I believe that if he remains with the club, he could go ahead to win more premier league trophies as well as other trophies.
Thanks to Pep, I see Manchester City as a disciplined club that would remain dominant in their games come next season. I know It’s a bit still early to tell but Manchester City has a really good chance of retaining their title again next season.
So far I see that Manchester City is a consistent team under Pep Guardiola, even since the first time Pep Guardiola joined. So it's not wrong to say Manchester City will probably be a top contender in the Premier League next season with their very stable squad because they have the capital to do that. I can even say they are the best team right now in the Premier League or even in Europe.
From the squad they have, it's clear they have managed to build a solid foundation so that they can easily do something and when new players arrive they can adapt well, and that's because they have the foundation that Pep Guardiola managed to build.
With their success in winning the treble winner this season, I'm sure they will be even more motivated and want to achieve the same thing even more in the coming season.

If you say it like that, it means that the one who deserves more blame is the club management, not the coach. Because every coach must have his own way of training a team so that the time needed is also different for each coach and from what you have said, the peak of the mistake was the management of the Chelsea club itself, which was inconsistent in retaining existing coaches.

It's a new coach again for Chelsea and in general no one knows how long he can stay at Chelsea, because he will only work next season as a coach at Chelsea so every result and assessment will be seen in next season. Although Chelsea fans hope that Chelsea can make a better performance again next season.
