You are right, high expectations sometimes bring disappointment at least that's what happened to Chelsea last season even though they have everything they need, including European top players and fresh funds. Some people argue that Graham Potter cannot implement the right strategy but we don't know what the real reason, what is clear is that at this time Mauricio Pochettino needs more effort to bring Chelsea to the best places especially next season the competition for the Top 4 is getting fierce because the Premier League has a newcomer like Newcastle which has been proven to have taken place at the 4th place

There is no doubt that Arsenal played very well last season. They have consistently played well. However, the team could not win the title due to not being able to maintain consistency till the end of the season. It will be very difficult for Arsenal to maintain the same dominance in the Premier League next season. Last season, Manchester city up to 3 teams. First 11, second 11, and 3rd. Even in 2021/2022 colleague possession, Pep Guardiola had the highest number of players in the whole of England and it has never once affected him. If a lack of players should affect a team, should too many players do the same? I doubt this sir. The only time that many players in a tram become a problem is when the coach lacks the skills of rotation. If he doesn't have a pattern or tactics, he will end up positioning there players just like Potter did. An experience coach would have made the best out of the Chelsea team last season.

But it looks like Arsenal will find it difficult to repeat or get that momentum next season, because other teams also certainly have good efforts to overhaul their squad. Therefore, if other teams like Liverpool also return to their best form next season, then I don't believe Arsenal can be at the top of the standings. Arsenal is the only team that can compete with Manchester city as it stand, they have got the right player to give Manchester city a tough competition next season. last season they bottled the league because they got no good squad to rotate, every weekend it was just set of first eleven and they got some injuries issues too. But now they have a good bench to rotate and rest some players.

As a supporter of the Gunners, I hope this time they can win the League trophy. last season, they failed even though the opportunity was very close. which in the end, the mentality of the young Gunners players shake towards the end of the competition. as a result, City returned to shift the top of the standings. plus won the treble winner.

I don't think Arsenal is the only team that can compete with Manchester city in the premier league. They've got the right players alright, but Manchester City is far superior to Arsenal and this is just my opinion.
Admittedly, Arsenal suffered some setback due to injuries and lack of available players that could properly handle those roles. I still think Arsenal is a strong contender for the league cup along with Manchester United and perhaps Newcastle like you noted.
I would also like to see how Brighton would have prepared for the upcoming season. They had a somewhat good run last season and had given some big clubs hell on the pitch. I would like to see what preparations they've made for the next season.
