If Newcastle indeed had such a fantastic defence more than other clubs aside from Man City as you painted it, why then did they concede so many goals that eventually made them the fourth this season? It's all about football, the front, middle and back must always be good to achieve the necessary feat needed. And to me, if there is any to praise this season, I'll give more kudos to the strikers more, especially Callum Wilson though the mid and back are to be praised too. More is still needed to be done as you said, Newcastle is not that consistent club, but hope they can use this season and next to prove doubters wrong.

As for the Champions Leagues, congratulations to them, but still don't see them reaching the quarter-finals, this is even if they improve, there are vicious vipers awaiting them and these guys are not smiling...lol.

What? Yes, Newcastle United had the best defense alongside Manchester City in the season 22/23. Is there anything to argue about in your opinion? I am not sure I get your point...

They became fourth because they dropped 9 points out of their last 5 games whereas Manchester United only dropped 3 points out of their last 5 games. It was not a very lucky ending as Newcastle could have easily become 3rd, but they didn't do well enough in the end. Other than that they are perfectly ready to compete with Manchester United.

It will be more interesting to see how Liverpool and Chelsea will perform and whether they can make it back to their best levels. If they can, the fight for the top will be rough for everyone.

I think the Premier League will be even more exciting next season and it is likely that the title race will become even tougher. Arsenal and Newcastle, who have performed quite well this season, will definitely make more thorough preparations. While Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea, certainly do not want to remain trapped in their slump. Besides that, there is Man United, which has improved quite a bit this season. Of course, Man City is still the favorite because they have successfully defended the trophy for 3 years in a row.
In the next season for Newcastle I'm not sure they will be able to compete well for the Premier League title because they will be left behind considering that Manchester United have shown this season they are starting to crawl to get better and better.
From some of the research that I did previously, there were only 3 teams that would compete very tightly for the Premier League next season, namely Manchester City, Arsenal and also Manchester United.
These 3 teams will be fierce rivals later, but you are also right that the favorite will still be Manchester City, the defending champion.

Newcastle has had the best defense of the Premier League along with Manchester City by far. Now they are also qualified for the Champions League, making them an even more attractive club for new players. If they can slightly improve their offensive personnel and get more high quality depth into their squad, I don't see any specific reason why they shouldn't be able to compete for the top 3 or top 4 again next season. They have had some spectacular games where they showed their very best and destroyed clubs like Tottenham. Usually that doesn't happen as a one hit wonder. With the money they have I think there is a lot to come from them in the coming season. First of of all it will be interesting to see how they are going to do in the Champions League.

Liverpool will need to learn their lesson from their mistakes during this season. Klopp's effort wasn't enough to carry the team to top four in the final moments of the season. They started a consistent form very late in the season that it wasn't enough as a result. Qualifying for the Europa League should be considered as a quite unsuccessful result for this team.

Because in fact the player quality is very high now. But the team lost a lot of chemistry and stayed that way for a long time. Mane's departure also affected them in a bad way. Especially Salah I mean because he had big problems on playing comfortable without him for a while.

The team will be very disappointed that they didn't make it to the champion league next season, but at least they will learn a lesson that they should have taken seriously from the beginning of the league this season. Sadio Mane's absence is one of the biggest factors affecting Liverpool this season; the team performance looks poor this season, and even in the performance of Salah, you will understand that he really misses Mane's performance.
The team really messed up by performing poorly from the start, which is why, when they were serious in the end, they couldn't make it. I would like to counsel the team that a team's failure is not its demise and that they should try their best the following time to qualify for the champion league.

I believe that the forthcoming season of the Premier League promises to be an exciting one for fans. Teams like Newcastle and Arsenal who have shown potential this season will definitely be inspired to strengthen their preparations and up the ante on their competitors. Despite possible setbacks Liverpool Tottenham and Chelsea will be motivated to recover and recapture their old greatness. The season long improvement of Manchester United only heightens the suspense. The domination of Manchester City who have successfully defended the championship for three straight years is difficult to ignore though. Their sustained performance places them as the favourites once more heightening the intrigue and excitement around the title race.

Greatness? I don't think Tottenham had any greatness before.  Grin  They have like zero titles achieved since the 1971-72 season. They were never that much impressive in the Premier League either. I don't remember them being in a title competition until the end of a season. Of course this season was even much worse than the previous ones. But nothing changed much actually because of not achieving a title like in the past seasons. Tottenham need to do something to be competitive for titles then they can have greatness.

It looks like Tottenham have reached an agreement with Ange Postecoglou who has been Celtic's coach. This is a big surprise to me because I was waiting to see them bringing Nagelsmann instead. If this is true then I wonder how things will go from now on.

Now the competition is getting more interesting because more and more teams can provide competition at the top, Newcastle is one of the teams that has just joined the competition at the top, they even managed to be in the top 4 this season and will be one of the teams that will participate in Champions League. Meanwhile, the big teams that have always provided tough competition in the previous season actually experienced bad things because they experienced a lot of decline, like Chelsea for example. But I also believe that in the coming season they will show their best to be in the top teams.
The last 2 seasons Newcastle have really done very well and this is quite interesting, of course, considering the financial condition they have, the squad update is really worth waiting for, especially in this case they are also planning to make another overhaul to make their condition better. even better.
At the moment there are already several promising names that have actually been linked with Newcastle, but there are still no conditions that are really confirmed correctly regarding this rumor, but I'm pretty sure with the power of their money and with the lure of the champions league next season, it won't be too surprised if there are some players with big names will be in Newcastle this time.

The Premier League has come to an end, it was a tough season and surprising one at that. it's obvious if you don't spend money you wont be regarded as big team, see how Newcastle as become a big team, just for one season sending, they spent more when the new owner came on board. that's how Manchester city came on board and is paying out to them, any club can emerge as big club once there is money.

whoever, believed Newcastle will be play in the Champions league this season and Liverpool will miss it, in game of football, buying good players are important too, you might have the money and still buy players that are not suitable for the club, like Chelsea, they bought rubbish players to the team and they suffered it. while Newcastle make use of their money and they are enjoying it. its all about wise spending.

I am not sure if Liverpool sold Mane because they felt they will buy Nunez to replace him. If it was what happened, it is a dump move by Liverpool and a let down to Mane. Just because Nunez scored good number of goals in an unpopular league doesn't mean that he is fit to replace Mane who has a very large work rate in Liverpool.
Actually, Liverpool's selling of Mane is a big mistake they made and I am sure they regretted it at one point or the other even if they are not going to admit it.
The another one mistake is Liverpool not want to extend Firmino's contract, he's only play as a substitute and he can score more goals than Nunez and Gakpo.

But the bad perform of Liverpool was caused by Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz long injury, the next season both of them will back. Liverpool will be solid because Salah will always play in right winger and Luis Diaz will play in left winger, I think the center forward would be Nunez or Gakpo, both of them will replace each other.
That's not the only thing that has made Liverpool decline this season, so that from the start of the season they didn't show their usual appearance. From the defense, midfield and front line they didn't play well, and what was more problematic was that there weren't any players who made the difference when they needed it. The absence of several main pillars also affected the team's performance. What I am focused on now is their midfield which has played far from expectations, when they receive attacks they cannot be a line that can cut off the opponent's attacks, and when they attack they cannot create a more diverse attack scheme so they are often broken by the opponent's defensive line.

I think the Premier League will be even more exciting next season and it is likely that the title race will become even tougher. When they decided to sell Sadio Mane it was indeed the wrong decision, but we know that Sadio Mane himself insisted on leaving Liverpool. When a player doesn't want to be on that team anymore, then it's better to sell him because usually it will affect his game. The problem is they didn't find the right replacement for Mane, Nunez, who was thought to be able to replace Mane's role, in fact didn't play optimally.
After the departure of Sadio Mane from the Liverpool team, the team was devastated. Salah, one of the best attacking players in the team, is not able to take the team forward. In view of which this team is able to perform very poorly in the Premier League this season.

Considering his current age he has to go not just him alone minler, Henderson needs to leave
The error they did was to sell Sadio who has been a creator and also a goal scorer
They are currently rebuilding so do not be mad when you see Bobby leave

Competition in the Premier League does not exist anywhere else in the world. Look, there is an incredible rivalry between Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle. If they play in any league other than this league, each of these teams is strong enough to be champion in that league. However, there is only one champion in this league, and Manchester City has been able to achieve this for three years. This achievement is also very good. Manchester City is one of the best teams in the world right now.

We began to see an image of what Liverpool can look like almost at the end of the season when they started recovering from the very bad way they started after they sold one of their major players. Next season, they will be stronger, they are even lucky that they were still able to qualify for the Europa competition, not like Chelsea that started bad and finished bad. Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo will meet the expectations more next season, they many even win the Europa.

The another one mistake is Liverpool not want to extend Firmino's contract, he's only play as a substitute and he can score more goals than Nunez and Gakpo.
Maybe he does not want to stay in the club. He may want to try out another team before he retires.

I don't think not renewing Firminho contract is a mistake,he is a good player yes but compared to the other names mentioned here it is only natural for him to start as a substitute player most of the time, even when he was a regular at Liverpool he used to make clamorous errors before the goal and losing a lot of opportunities before the goal,so based on this I think there is not an error not to renew his contract and with that money to look for a better player to substitute him.

Liverpool has been inconsistent during this season as if they used to play like the last games of the Premier League they would have been a much more dangerous contender to the title than Arsenal was.

Salah and Mane were like two friends who understood each other very well. Salah knew very well where Mane would be on the field and was throwing it towards him. After he left, there was a great weakening in the offensive line and it was felt. Perhaps the worst move Liverpool ever made was to sell him and buy Nunez. They have to make the transfers more carefully for next year. Now there is one more big team in the Premier League and that is Newcastle. If you are chasing the top ranks in the league where the competition is at such a high level, you have to make the best moves.

Of course they regretted it. A year ago, they were one of the two teams to dominate the league together with Manchester City, this year they fell far short of expectations. However, they will make it to the UEL by finishing the league in the top 5 places and will probably be one of the strongest teams with a chance to win the cup. If we do not count Arsenal's surprise elimination this year, they will be one of the teams that will go from the Premier League to the Europa League for Liverpool next year. I wonder how Nunez will play next year.

Teams like Liverpool have played very poorly in the Premier League this season which has disappointed football fans. Because in the past seasons, the Liverpool team has performed exceptionally well when Sadio Mane was in the team. Since Sadio Mane left the team, Liverpool's attack has become a complete mess.

Newcastle's performance surprised me. This team did not have any star players in the squad. However, due to the hard work of the coach and players, the Newcastle team managed to qualify for the Champions League. The Newcastle Club is now the richest club in the Premier League. If they prepare big funds to sign star players, and if Newcastle boss Eddie Howe can build his squad with star players of his choice, I believe the Newcastle team will be able to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
They have star players, but their names are not as big as other players. Without star players I think it's hard for me to believe that Newcastle United can score 68 goals in one season in the Premier League. It's just that Newcastle is not as big as a team like Manchester City or other top teams so even if they have star players they won't be famous.
Other teams in the Premier League such as Manchester City, Liverpool, and United have star players, but Newcastle team does not have any big star players. However, Newcastle have a number of excellent players in their squad. And because of the strong bond between the players, they have been able to perform well this season. However, Newcastle will aim to win the title next season. I am not saying that they will win the title. But they will fight for the title. And so they need to strengthen their team. Moreover, we are not yet sure whether Newcastle management will prepare a big fund.
In fact, Newcastle team does not have big star players like other teams, despite the lack of star players, the performance of Newcastle team can put Newcastle team ahead of other teams. So I think if Newcastle team has two star players added, this team will be able to fight very well in the Premier League.

Newcastle's main strengths this season have been their excellent match tactics and strong defense. Newcastle's defense has been very strong this season. They conceded only 33 goals in 38 matches. While the defense was strong, the performance of the attacking players was somewhat erratic. And so this team has lost points in several matches. And so if you want to maintain the consistency of performance in the next season, Newcastle must take an experienced striker in the team. Without an experienced striker, they will not be able to maintain the stability of the performance in the coming season.
