The long anticipated game is just few minutes to kick-off. Manchester United after suffering 2 consecutive defeats came back with a back to back wins to restore their champion's league hope. Tonight, they will be hosting Chelsea at Old Trafford and all United needs is a draw to qualify for next season's champions league but a win will put them in a driving position for a 3rd place finish and thus an automatic spot.

Chelsea is having a very difficult campaign this season and their worst outing since the came into limelight as one of premier league's top performing club. This should be the first time they have failed to qualify for a european championship tournament in recent years. They have nothing to play for 😄 but they would savour a win at Old Trafford, just to dent United's champion's league ambition.

Playing at Old Trafford with Chelsea's current condition is actually my big hope for Manchester United.

For this match I will not rely on the meeting record because considering the conditions of the two teams are very different in the second half of the season. Personally I don't see the game ending in a draw as Chelsea are in their worst form of the season and they have struggled for a win in their last game, despite falling short and were only able to win one game in their previous five. Man United's chances are far greater to win the game, while Chelsea are really under pressure because they have to face two much better clubs in the remaining two matches.

One more victory will ensure that Man United advances to the Champions League next season and finishes third in the standings because their last game will face Fulham. Waiting for confirmation of the line-ups that will be installed by the two coaches for this match and I bet Man United will win the game with a one goal difference.
