Well, a draw will make Manchester United comfortable sitting in the top 4 until the end of the competition. But I think erik ten hag will definitely be chasing wins and that's pretty wide open for them in this game.

Congratulations to Brighton for sealing a place in the Europa League next season, they really deserve it and they have worked so hard for it, their manager Roberto De Zerbi deserves an awful amount of credit for what he has done with this team, when Graham Potter left Brighton for Chelsea i thought the club was going to struggle for sometime, but Roberto De Zerbi just slotted right into the position, and look what he has achieved now.

Having said that, for City their EPL winning run comes to an end, but it really doesn't mean anything, they have already been crowned champions, they just need these games to ensure they are in the right shape for the two finals ahead, and Brighton really made them work hard today which will prolly help them find areas they can improve in.

VAR foiled the goal from Mitoma because of the condition of his active hand and of course Manchester City also, especially for Haaland, it was quite good from the referee's decision.
But in this match the interesting thing is when the kick from Encisco is really very good and I like the goal created by Brighton in this match.
Not a bad score for them and of course this is a good thing for Brighton.

Brighton played really well in this match and they created many goals attempts, man city players wasn't very serious about this match but they managed to get a point, i believe man city players are now focusing on the champoins league final and that's why they wasn't in their real format

But Manchester City had their chances and I was of the impression that they wanted to win that game to cross the 90 points mark again this season. They still have one chance to do it and even though some people could think that it is not important anymore, I believe that seasons in the Premier League with 90 points and even more are special and memorable. They are anyway when you win the title, but 90 points and then one day the 100 points mark could still be a goal.

I think the game played out in Brighton's favour because the league winners Manchester city didn't show total level of seriousness because they are league champions already but at least they maintained good performance by not conceding more than 1 goal and not losing the game too because Brighton mounted a lot of pressure on their defense. Everyone felt the game would end in favour of Brighton because of the number of chances they created but they were lucky that Manchester city's second goal that was scored by Erling Haaland was later cancelled otherwise it would have been a victory for Manchester city even after the beautiful performance of Brighton

This could also be one of the reasons but still looking at Brighton's performance in this match it is already very good.
I was thinking of something different for the second half from Manchester City but indeed it looks like they are satisfied with the result and not doing anything bigger than Pep is in favor of Brighton.
1 point in this game is enough for them to secure a place in the Europa League next season and of course that is a very good thing for them.

Correct. the draw that Brighton got might even raise their reputation. And Man City is the holder of the title last season and this season. and currently Man City is also a finalist in the FA Cup and in the UCL. so being able to hold a strong team like Man City to a draw is a pretty good achievement. Even in that match Pep played their reliable players. I expect Brighton to have a better performance next season. and for this season there is only 1 game left. namely against Aston Villa. and I think Brighton will be the favorites in that game.

Indeed. No one thinks Brighton will end the season in the top 6 because they are a small team in EPL. With their current squad, it is very amazing that they can beat some top clubs in EPL. That is unpredictable, some top clubs can't get their target because they were defeated by Brighton. In the next season, I am sure no team in EPL will underestimate Brighton anymore. Grin

Yes, they will play in Europa League, it is a great achievement for this team. I expect they will get bigger achievements in the next season.

Regarding the match today, surely Man City didn't play with their all effort because they still have a final UCL match. All the players must need to have good condition in the final UCL match. So, Guardiola gave the instruction to all players to prioritize their fitness over winning an EPL match. The results of EPL matches won't affect anything.

It's possible that Man City is not too insistent in their last matches in the EPL. Because of the results, they remain EPL title holders. What they are focused on is how to keep their players fit, so that no one gets injured for the sake of the UCL final which is their focus at the moment.
