You are right in assessing the aspect that football fans want.
Arsenal fans deserve to be disappointed with the result they got when the team they support lost in a game dominated by Brighton and when they chose to leave the stadium before the final whistle sounded is proof I see they are really disappointed for what they have been supporting so far.
Likewise when Arsenal lost the next game when they lost 1-0 against Nottingham Forest. Arsenal showed their quality in the battle for the title at the end of the season.

Actually Arsenal fans have pinned high hopes on Arsenal this season when the Gunners topped the standings with a very promising game.
The mentality of players and coaches that they don't have makes them always end up with disappointing results.
Arteta can only be proud because he was able to bring Arsenal back into the UEFA Champions League after several seasons without experiencing how it was to play in the UEFA Champions League.

I'm really excited about today's match between Manchester City and Brighton! I have a feeling that City will end the season on a high note. While both teams have reasons to celebrate, but for Brighton, this match might be their chance to secure a spot in Europe. It's clear that a defeat won't mean nothing to City at this point, so it's a great opportunity for Brighton to dismantle them. Personally, Lots of possibilities, but I'll go both teams to score.

I also think that manchester city will prepare their core players to face Intermilan later in the CL final or FA final so they will lower the second tier like against chelsea before, Guardiola certainly won't put pressure on his team to get a big win against brighton later especially I'm sure Guardiola only lowered the second tier, but for the sake of self-esteem, of course, Manchester City will not allow Brighton to pick points even though they are playing as hosts.

At least a draw is enough in my opinion or picking a win with a narrow score won't change anything for Manchester City because they have won the league this season especially if Brighton wins it won't change its position from 6th place.

I agree with you that Manchester City definitely don't want to take any chances, and it's likely they will go down with a squad not fully stocked with first-team players, or they won't play them for 90 minutes. The main reason is because they have confirmed themselves to be Premier League champions, and they need a full squad to play in the top matches of the Champions League which will determine whether they will be able to realize their dream so far to win the Champions League, or they have to bury their hopes again. this season and try again next season.
