It's really strange if we look at these odds, usually we will see that Manchester United will be slightly favored by their opponent, but now Newcastle is the favorite to win, but another point is that Newcastle is also the host. Apart from all that, it must be admitted that Manchester United's performance in the EPL has seen a decline and that possibility is what underlies the bookies not to favor Manchester United in the match against Newcastle later.

The rest I think Manchester United will still be able to win this match and even if we are unsure about betting on one team, we still have other options such as over 2.25 goals or both teams scoring goals. In my opinion, such a bet is still feasible considering that the two teams certainly also need additional full points to secure their position in the standings.

It looks like this will end in a draw if Liverpool is able to balance and block Haaland's movements. It is possible that Liverpool needs to play solidly up front like Nunez who is starting to develop well, and Gakpo who has found a little bit of a match for Liverpool. The slight advantage for Newcastle reflected in the odds is the typical home advantage I would say. I think I would probably also have an eye on the tie because Newcastle plays a great season, but Manchester United is quite efficient and they have a better understanding of the game in certain situations than they had at the beginning of the season. I think that Manchester United will score a goal and now the question is how good of a job Newcastle will deliver. I don't think it is going to be a goal festival, but it could be a 1-1. But for me it's never fun to bet on a tie even though at times it seems to be the appropriate choice! Wink

Manchester City are good to win this game, let still wait and see what Liverpool has to offer in this match if they can still challenge Manchester City even with their unstable performance. The problem of Liverpool is still within the club itself, I guess their morale is low, nothing else. There might be a little adjustment needed though and Klopp is certainly doing a brilliant job as far as I know. They've improved noticeably in the EPL, and for them to have reached this stage with the UCL means that they tried with their poor performance this season.

There is room for improvement, so let us give them more benefits of the doubt between now and next season as this season is almost over. And I hope they make the champions league qualifier.

This match still has one week left, we can't yet know the line-up that these two teams will play later. Haaland's injury, will be a big blow for Pep Guardiola. although the news is that Halaand has now entered the treatment room, and his condition will be known in the next two to three days. most likely, Haaland will not be played in the match later. but for sure, we will find out after there is certainty regarding the injuries he experienced.
Meanwhile, Pep still has other players he can use as a centre-forward. it's just that, it's a loss when one of their key players is injured.

On the other hand, several newspapers are reporting that Gakpo has returned to Merseyside early, and it is hoped he can recover and be available for the away game against Manchester City next weekend. while others, Luis Diaz is scheduled to take full training next week, most likely, he will be backed up as a substitute in the match later. as for Firmino, he is a good player even though he is prone to injury. besides that, Klopp also still has Jota.
