If for example Arsenal and Manchester city are consistent to win in every match going forward, but in the second match or the second meeting between Manchester City v Arsenal and produce a win for Manchester City. But still, Arsenal's position will not be able to be taken over by Manchester City because their point gap is quite wide.
Manchester City have 5 points less than Arsenal and they must play next matches with an assumption that Arsenal will win their matches too. They have to consider a direct match with Arsenal will be like very last chance for them to stop Arsenal, to reduce a gap to only 2 points and they can hope that Arsenal will play worse after that defeat. If Arsenal successfully maintain the 5 points gap after a match with Manchester City, I am sure their sentiment will be too good and they will aim at the trophy strongly.
..
Unless Arsenal don't have good results for the next few matches, then this could threaten Arsenal's position to be taken over by Manchester City. Anyway, if Arsenal can win every match, then of course Manchester City will not be able to win the Premier League title this season.
I don't think Arsenal can win all rest matches but they must focus on each of those matches. The race between Arsenal and Manchester City will be decided by results from both clubs, not from only Arsenal or Manchester City.
5 points?
In fact, currently Arsenal has 69 points and Manchester City has 61 points, does that mean that Manchester City only has 5 points less than Arsenal? Because if the points are earned like that, then they have a gap of 8 points which of course is a fairly wide point gap.
Also, I said "If / For example" which means, anything can still happen. But, if I consider Arsenal's performance so far this season and also, at this moment Arsenal can put all their focus on the Premier League. So yes, with considerations like that, then I'm sure Arsenal will not be beaten, which means, Arsenal can still get a draw but I'm sure the draw will not make Arsenal's position taken over by Manchester City.
