Of course this is Dyche's tough task to get Everton out of the relegation zone. moreover, the task is so hard to lead his troops in the match against Arsenal at the Goodison Park Stadium, but even so, of course, a process is needed to make Everton rise.

It will be a tough job given the fact that they have lost Gordon also this window. I think still they got some strong players who can help the team when needed but Dyche also need to use them properly. It will be a tough job for him but I think he will do better job than Frank Lampard and hopefully will get them out of the relegation zone.

Dyche's potential was recognized by the team prior to his signing, which is why he was signed. If he can't outperform Frank Lampard in leading the team out of the relegation zone, he won't be considered for the job in the first place. He simply needs to use the players effectively; I see some good players still on the team who can lead the team to victory after victory until they are no longer in the relegation zone.

The 1 thing about Everton is they cannot change much in the next couple of months they have no new players that look to be good enough to replace any of their 1st team. Dyche with Burnley was a great manager who kept them up longer then most managers would have been able to keep them up but Everton are a completely different team and are not as defensive as Burnley. If Dyche tries to convert this Everton team into a defensive team he will fail they do not have the players to do it. They are a team that needs to attack and I do not think Dyche has the capability to manage a attacking team

the tough task will be the pressure for Dyche in training Everton. the demands he has to live out are to bring Everton back to the best ranking or at least be able to get out of the relegation zone in the remaining matches this season. In this season, Everton have had difficulties in every game they have played because there are many gaps in their squad that their opponents can take advantage of in every game.

if you look at Everton points until Week 20 of the EPL this season, Everton has collected 15 points and is only 2 points away from Wolves who are ranked 17th, so it is very likely that Dyche can bring Everton out of the relegation zone.

Due to their squad depth, Arsenal did not have enough squad to diversify their attention on different leagues or cups, which is why they make qualifying for the Champions League their top priority at the start of the season until they see themselves at the top of the league at the end of the first phase of the premier league, which makes Arsenal consider winning the league because they believe they are capable of winning the league due to their consistency.
Arsenal so far have very high confidence to be on the same path until the end of the season. I'm sure their struggle is basically not easy, but thanks to the consistency of their performance I think there is good hope to continue to maintain it until the end of the season.

I don't have to agree that Manchester City is said to give up the title race this season, and Manchester City should still have a chance even if Arsenal are leading by 5 points at the moment. I hope Arsenal lose the 2 meetings with Manchester City in the rest of the season, and that is good hope for Manchester City to defend its title.
Manchester City are the best team in the Premier League in the last decade of course they still have a chance. Arsenal are having their best league performance for the last decade so of course they are up against it. The nerves could start closer to the season and Manchester City could over take them because they are reluctant to risk losing games so they do not attack so much.

fc everton has announced the successor of Frank Lampard just days after his sacking. Sean Dyche, who previously coached fc burnley and has been without a club since april 2022, takes over the coaching job at the toffees. the 51-yo sign a contract until june 2025, and his first match next saturday will be against league leaders arsenal london

I'm imagining what if Everton don't see change with Sean Dyche as the coach till the end of the season what will be the decision of everton decision . Bringing a new coach to help a team is something that can take a long time. Everton should not just expect drastic change within a short time.

I would have trusted Everton more about getting themselves out of the relegation area if they brought Bielsa instead of Dyche. Because Bielsa is a manager who has a great experience level with a couple of big European teams in his career. He was like the best candidate for them considering the possible alternatives. Because it was difficult for Everton to reach an agreement with top managers while they were in a miserable condition in the Premier League. However Bielsa didn't want to sign for Everton unfortunately.
Dyche doesn't have any experience with any big team now. Everton are an average team now of course considering last two seasons especially. But still they have skilled players and hopefully Dyche will find a way to use them effectively.

Dyche might not be very experienced, but I think a change in authority is certainly going to get the spring in the steps for Everton. I think new tactics might actually work for them. And currently never done good. Only get in agreement with Dyche. That's why they got him right now. I know this is not the best. But they have to work with what they got right now. I do not think he will be able to get Everton anywhere close to the 10th position. But I believe that is not the target. The primary target is to avoid relegation.

Dyche seriously has a lot to do to actually build Everton again that is the challenge most coaches face and Everton playing against arsenal is not going to be easy at all for them to beat arsenal, I don't think their rise will start from winning against arsenal it will be an impossible mission, the best they can do is to improve their self while playing because they can not even make top four.
In this case, it is clear that the task is tough for him at this time when he sees the performance of Everton, who are in 19th place in the standings.
They are still having a hard time struggling in the EPL and their last 5 matches have not gone well which makes this a bit tricky for Dyche. But I like the confidence Dyche confirms his desire to get Blue Merseyside back on track.
Everton's points are still not far behind the club in the mid-table and Dyche has to start from scratch now both from the scheme and the players although for Dyche's first 2 matches I won't expect much from them because they will face Arsenal Liverpool .

You are someone who I agree with as regards Arsenal's performance against Manchester City. I was kinda surprised how the game was played with some ease. It was at a point I asked someone if it was a B team.
Arsenal know this is one chance to clench the Premier league and as well a sure Champions league spot next season.  They have the vibrance and talent as a team to deliver.

The game clearly shows that Arsenal weren’t that much interested in winning the FA for this season. Probably Arteta would have looked at his depth in the squad and found out that he doesn’t have what it takes to scoop two domestic titles just yet. The Arsenal played you will clearly see a team trying to conserve energy. I hope the gamble pays off by them winning the Premier League.

It is obviously going to be certainly very hard for Everton to get out of the relegation zone. But the point difference is not very big. So if they can just somehow win one match, they will be able to get out of the relegation zone.

But it is going to be very hard for them to find that one win. Because they do not have any in the last five. And they are certainly struggling to even get one point from matches. So, even though I say it is not that hard for them to get out of the relegation zone, I am also not going to say that it is going to be easy at all.

It is definitely a tough period for Everton. They are playing bad and also do not have new signings coming in. They missed out on Danjuma big time. Sean Dyche is here now and he has a big task to avoid relegation but with his experience in escaping from the danger zone I believe he can pull it off again. The game against Arsenal might provide him to look into the team properly but I don’t see them winning it except maybe a new manager syndrome happens.

Sean Dyche has long coached Burnley for at least ten years Sean Dyche has coached Burnley, but during this period Sean Dyche was not always able to give good results for Burnley. But yes, even though Burnley is playing in the Championship this season, but Sean Dyche can make Burnley a strong team and will return to the Premier League next season if Burnley remains consistent with his new coach Vincent Kompany.
But yes, apart from that at least Sean Dyche has more experience than Lampard, because the fact is that Sean Dyche is great for building a team. Of course, Everton hopes that Sean Dyche can restore the best form for Everton, and so that Everton will not be relegated at the end of this season.

Honestly Dyche has a difficult task ahead of him, Everton lacks quality players more to that another reliable player Gordon was sold, January transfer window is closing soon the club hasn't made any bid to sign any new players, that means Dyche will manage the few players at his disposal at the club, well this is the period where his managerial ability and skill should be make use of particularly to steer the club out of relegation, Dyche was very a good manager then with Burnley I hope he transfer his wealth of experience to Everton and revive and put the club back to a force to be reckoned with in EPL.

Yes. it seems, Arsenal did not prioritize to win the FA CUP trophy. if so, Arteta will play his main starting line-up against Manchester City. after all, Arsenal have enough time off if only to focus on Premier League competition matches. however Arteta seems to prefer playing other players than, Odegaard, Martinelli, B.white, Salaiba, who sat on the bench.
I agree with the consensus that Arsenal is more focused on winning the Premier League or at least being among the top 5 teams. This is the reason why I think they under so much pressure and why being knocked out of the FA didn't hurt them. And if at the end they end up not winning or being in the top 4 position it will be heart breaking both for them , their fans and non-fans who are presently rooting for them.
Arsenal priority is nothing but to win the English premier league league,  I'm still very sure Manchester City won't be able to beat them just like in the FA competition.  Arsenal take all their Premier league games very serious. Arsenal have done more than enough to win this season,  they don't have much problems.

Given where Everton is in the Premier League table, I wonder what kind of magic the new coach of Everton will perform.

Everton was on the verge of being relegated last season when they fired their coach and hired Lampard as a replacement. Lampard worked his magic and saved Everton from the relegation zone. As they are in the relegation zone this season, they fired Lampard and hired a new manager.

Let this new manager keep them from getting relegated. Everton should have it in mind that, it is not necessary to fire the current coach and hire a new one in the absence of talented players capable of winning games.

This is like a seasonal issue for some of the big 6 in the EPL, they lack form and also drop points drastically even when they play you ask yourself is this one of the big clubs in EPL? Liverpool are really finding it hard to even get hold of a win, just like they played against Brighton with the 0-1 lead they couldn't hold it till the end of first half and they end up losing the game.
Is like the smaller clubs have found out how to beat them and make them feel useless as in style of play, imagine having Mo Salah and other guys in the team and you think of how to stop them to even get a point as a coach but these days they just play poorly and is kind of frustrating for both players and coaching staff, Sometimes they ask themselves what are they not doing right.
Klopp is a good coach no doubt but I tell you for free that if it was other clubs he would have been sacked before now, with the time he has been given he should try and make some changes add more fresh legs in the midfield because some players are getting old, you can't play experience more than stamina and strength.

It is very true. Liverpool needs to make some serious changes. Otherwise, I do not think that they will be able to go anywhere near the top three or four positions. It already feels like it is going to be very difficult for Liverpool to get up on the table. One thing is we generally do not see Liverpool make very big transfers.

But I think this is the season when they really need to make those big transfers. They really do need to spend money so that they can at least get out of the situation that they are currently in right now. It is also true that if this was any other club, the coach would have been fired a long time ago. So, he should also try to make some changes and at least try to take a risk and see if it works.
