Despite winning, I wasn't impressed by Man City's performance. Their attacks are so slow and ruthless that they are incapable of penetrating again once the passes go at the back. However, Nathan Ake's single goal sent Man City to the FA Cup third round. In addition to this goal, Nathan Ake also scored one against Liverpool, which was very important for them at the time. Arsenal has lost another trophy, but I wish the team would win the EPL this year. While the EPL trophy is not guaranteed yet, there is still a long way to go.
I am a fan of Erling Halland when he was in the Bundesliga I have gone into Premier League because of him going into the Premier League that is why I am very observant of Manchester City but right now even though Arsenal doesn't have any Main player that they can call as goal engines like Halland or Lewandowski, but they are likely playing incredible and I think this is because most in the Arsenal they have the chemistry and their teamwork are really outstanding, so I guess you can say that Arsenal might become champion in the EPL this season, but Manchester City just have Erling Halland I think they will need time to see what Erling Halland potential and right now he is still improving as he plays, so if it is not the time for Manchester City to be champion maybe next season,
Arsenal are not in for FA as they have won it on different occasions even Mikel Arteta is a FA cup champion, won it in his first season, so I know what arsenal are after is the league they haven't won since the invincibles last won it, so this arsenal season is all about the league not even the Europa League, they are more focused on the league, he rested some key players but at the end they are out, man city rested too but still had a way to go through to the next stage, I think the next game between these two teams in the league won't be an easy one for Manchester city because arsenal will cause them problems and Manchester have their own weaknesses too and can be punished by this young arsenal side.
I agree, they are not really focused on the FA Cup because right now they are more than focused on the Premier League their main target is to get a championship in EPL, well, for Manchester City I think they haven't used to the play of Erling Halland, and Halland aswell doesn't know where he is allowed, I think their coach is still looking for ways to efficiently used Erling Halland they don't want to make the mistake for the team to rely on Halland so much which is really a bad habit for some team, and that was it Arsenal is a younger team, which they are likely a faster and can settle some play when they needed,
