Indeed, this is an unexpected result, even though we know Spurs are a strong team, Manchester City should be able to beat them even though this is an away game. True, in this match the Spurs are so strong and they are ready to stop all attacks from Man City. We know the duet of city players De Bruyne and Halaand can always score goals, but in this match both of them failed to score one goal. Even so, it's a bit unfortunate why Pep Guardiola didn't include De Bruyne from the start of the match and only put him in when the game was 30 minutes remaining. It is possible that he wants to try a new strategy but it seems to have no results in this fight.

This weekend was full of funny results as many big clubs were beaten by smaller clubs as Manchester city lost it match on Sunday evening where the clubs lost by one goal, this is most surprising and this is a result similar to that of Arsenal and the rest.

Arsenal have played one game less so Gunners have chance to extend the lead to 8 points but from now Arsenal needs to make less mistakes and not drop much points as City are very strong team and they can easily close the gap if they start having consistent performance. I am glad that City also dropped points in the same gameweek where we dropped too but this will not keep on happening again so better to perform consistently and avoid dropping points.

I didn't expect Manchester City to lose the match against Tottenham. But Tottenham are really motivated to get their revenge in this match by playing well and being very strong in defence. Manchester City found it difficult to penetrate the tight Tottenham defense, but they had several good chances even though there were no goals.

Of course this is very disappointing because at first Manchester City had mission to win 3 points from Tottenham. So in the end today's Manchester City mission must fail, and they must still have a distance of 5 points from Arsenal who also lost against Everton. What went wrong, of course Manchester City repeated their mistakes like the previous match against Tottenham. But today Manchester City was not as lucky to comeback as they did at Etihad.

As I mentioned earlier when Arsenal lost 1-0 to Everton, and I stated that Tottenham will not necessarily lose to Manchester City with their new manager Cristian Stellini. And it turned out that it was proven and Cristian Stellini was able to change Tottenham to play very well than before.
Harry Kane's goal in the 15th minute made Tottenham win 3 points and keep the score until the end of the match. Tottenham's good defense made it difficult for Manchester City to score goals and Haaland also did not perform well, rarely even getting the ball.

This was one of those Sundays that only the Premier League is capable of offering.While many would argue that Nottingham win is a surprise result I think no one will argue that Manchester City just lost the golden opportunity they had to close the gap to Arsenal and this for me says a lot why this year Manchester City should be better focusing on the Champions League as they lack complete consistency in Premier League performance.
