I was not expecting 2 goals from Tottenham during the closing stages of the first half but in the second half Manchester City has risen and scored back to back goals just like Tottenham did in the second half and the match is really interesting as Manchester City is attacking all guns ablaze and i am expecting more goals and hopefully we wont be seeing further defensive blunders from Manchester City.

Edit: Manchester City defense is giving huge openings and just now they were lucky Tottenham did not score again Roll Eyes

2 goals in quick succession. They’ve done the same thing that Tottenham did in the late stages of the first half. Haaland with the second goal. The score line is now 2-2. 2 minutes,10 seconds between the two goals of Manchester City. The coach as well as the fans have gotten their spirits back. After what must have been a stern talking to during the half time, the players came out of the dressing room with fire and rage in their hearts.

The current point is 2-2 between Man City vs Tottenham, winning in the first half made Man City come back. There is still a possibility that the tide could reverse if this pressure continues. Poor goal keeping and a huge error by the Manchester City goalie caused the first goal and then another poor defending by the defenders to help their opponents net in a second goal. I didn’t expect the score line at half time to be comfortably in favor of Tottenham. They had put some good pressure on the defense of Manchester City. Now can they keep up the pressure in the second half?
They need to step up their game if they want to win the Premier League again this season. They’re currently 8 points behind the leaders Arsenal and would go further back if they lose to Tottenham.

The game between Manchester City and Tottenham has reached halftime. It was an interesting first half, and I must say and applaud Tottenham for taking a two-goal lead at the half. I expected the game to be a little more competitive, but the wager was on Manchester City winning at the end. Tottenham are unwilling to let down their guard and continue to prevent Manchester City from scoring despite having many shots on target.

We'll see how the second half plays out, whether Tottenham drops their defensive guard and allows Manchester City to equalize or not. The pressure from Manchester City will be intense in the second half, but Tottenham must stand firm because this is a crucial match for them to earn a point and maintain their position in order to finish on the top four of the Premier League table.

They still have one more half to make a comeback but that second goal was really hurtful. I'd OK with City losing more points though, Arsenal have a luxury to lose one more game now. Manchester City had placed an embargo on the league. Let's see Arsenal win the championship once again. City can then continue their championships after this season. Let them focus on CL too. I'd be happier to see Arsenal to win PL and City to win CL.

Very surprising to see that Tottenham had the better first half than Manchester City. The Tottenham we've known this season is a Tottenham that always struggles in the first half but play better in the second half while Manchester City has always been the club to score in the first half but in this particular game the reverse has happened. They will do all they can to maintain this result, while Manchester City will be all out to attack immediately the second half begins. The game is not over, Manchester City can still equalise.

Now it is difficult for Manchester City to score 2 goals in the second half. Tottenham's defense was very tight in the first half and they really put Manchester City in big trouble at home. Haaland had chances, while Lewis also had attempts but both failed to find the net. It could be said that Manchester City might lose badly to Tottenham today, and this is really a result that was beyond most people's expectations.

manchester City - Tottenham Hotspur 0-2 and that will most likely also be the halftime score. Lots of work to do for City in the 2nd half. Can they actually reverse this? It is clear that City had not started the 2nd half of the season well, but they should not lose to Tottenham at home. City rivals United will be relieved if City lose this match, so that there is plenty of scope for 2nd place and possibly the title. Arsenal can take a big step towards the championship this weekend as both teams from Manchester are losing points. I don't see City winning this game anymore, even a draw is not going to happen.

You are right, these two teams are aiming for 3 points because Manchester City really needs an additional 3 points to continue to stick to Arsenal at the top of the standings. But as far as I've watched, these two teams played very carefully, even for the host, it was quite difficult for them to launch an attack because of the tight defense of Tottenham.

The first round match was almost over where Manchester City was very superior in possession, but that's not a good enough thing if they couldn't score a goal in this match. Manchester City have not been able to release a shot on target whether Erling Haaland is barren again in this match.

The game between Manchester City and Tottenham is a very serious team,the two teams needs the three points and Manchester City being a team pushing for the EPL trophy in which Arsenal is ahead of them with 8 points needs the winning more because with Manchester United almost close to them and Arsenal winning games more and more gives City no room for mistakes again and they only need to win this game in order to keep their fight for the trophy alive. And Tottenham on the other hand needs to win the game to either remain in their position or lose the opportunity to earn their place in the top four spot. With Newcastle ahead of them with 4 points and still doing very well, Tottenham needs nothing but a win.

20 minutes into the kick off, there is still nothing interesting because both teams seem to be too careful with the current game.
The game is still always focused on the midfield and until now there is still no condition where the two teams put pressure really seriously like that.
But of course this doesn't reduce the excitement especially there will definitely be some interesting things after this because 20 minutes I think is enough to read each other's strategies.
