Both Liverpool and Chelsea have underperformed this season and it might even be possible for both of these teams to miss out qualifying for the Uefa Champions League next season. I agree with you that Arteta must be realistic with his plan for Arsenal in a long season and for every match. They don't need to win too big but need to win as many matches as possible. When he sees Arsenal have good results and can secure 3 points, he should make substitutions and gives his important players have time to rest. First to avoid injuries and second to have better fitness for other matches. If he can do this, he can help Arsenal to have better results in second half of season and increase the odd to win Premier League.
The battle of the day... Man City vs Tottenham... Man City lost the last two games and Spurs on the contrary began to play better than at the start of the second half of the season... Man United has always faced an uphill battle against Crystal Palace, in particular at Old Trafford in the past two seasons. Man Utd will have to accept a loss unless David de Gea saves them. He has served as Man United's savior. If he isn't there, the goal might have more than one.
There was a lot of wasted chances in the first half. In the second half, they hardly made any attempts at goal before conceding. Casemiro won the ball so many times for us only to be lost again within seconds. There's complacency from some of the manUnited players - Rashford and Anthony. If only they were able to convert most of the chances created in the match they would have gotten a comfortable win against Crystal Palace but they failed to convert their chances and conceded a goal instead. Rashford was stingy with the ball, there could have been more goals if he had passed the ball to his teammate. Manchester United were unlucky last night, they lost their chance to climb to the second spot on the table and Casemiro got himself a suspension from playing in the match against Arsenal this weekend. IMO Ten Hag should have benched Casemiro and saved him for a more important game against Arsenal.
It was quite a tiring week for Man United, apart from being held to a draw by Crystal Palace they also lost Casemiro against Arsenal. Obviously, this can affect the performance of Erik Ten Hag's team. There are only 2 options to replace Casemiro, namely Feed and McTuminay, so far both of them may not be able to fully match Casemiro more dominant contribution in maintaining defense.I think that if MU may be losing against arsenal caused by the defense of club will be so weak without casemiro.

On the contrary, i think Manchester city will not be on so much pressure against Tottenham, instead Conte and his boys will be the one playing with immense pressure considering their poor form since the league restarted. Pep team always bounce back after a bad spell and i am looking forward to the boys bouncing back to form against Spurs (who are also lacklustre in front of goals).
Tottenham are having problems at the moment. The team has been losing points frequently of late. Tottenham lost to Arsenal (0-2) and Spurs also lost to Aston Villa 0-2. The fans are complaining about coach Antonio Conte. In general, Tottenham are not in fighting form at the moment.

I don't think Manchester United underestimated Crystal Palace in that macth, but that's how it sometimes turns out even though Manchester United are the favorites to win the match. You can doubt Manchester United against Arsenal, but I think it will be more exciting than the match against Crystal Palace.
