Yeah they did well with the comeback and Spurs were bad at keeping them their wingers on the check also. BTW what Pep said on the press conference after the match is also true because some of their players aren't making maximum effort yet.
Ederson and the Manchester City defense made mistakes for conceding the first goal, then the second goal was also due to the lack of anticipation of the defense in guarding the opposing players.
I know it was a tough match, but sometimes you can't make even the slightest mistake to avoid defeat as the team really needs points to get closer and compete with the leaders. This assumption is indeed like what happened on the field during the match, but fortunately Manchester City managed to comeback in the second half. 4-2 is a sweet final score.
If the win their next game that would mean Arsenal just has 2 point advantage over them and the champions of the English Premier League door is swung open again.
Well Arsenal are one game behind so Arsenal still can retain the gap to 8 points. Aren't you getting too ahead with City comeback huh?
. City still can make it but for that to happen Arsenal need to drop some points and City also need to get the maximum points in such occassions.
Of course, Arsenal still have the chance to widen the point gap to 8 points if they beat Manchester United tomorrow. Manchester United dropped points in the previous match against Crystal Palace, so they will probably really want to maintain consistency after being able to perform well after the world Cup break. I hope Manchester United wins, but this is just wish that is actually difficult to come true given Arsenal's impressive form.
