Tottenham's performance was really poor, I couldn't believe they would concede 4 goals after leading by 2 goal lead in the first half. I think this performance might trigger the Tottenham FC board of directors to sack Conte sooner than later because this kind of performances are unacceptable. I doubt they will finish top four with this performance level.

Obviously that's the match I'm looking forward to this week but I really don't feel that Manchester City deserved to win the field if they didn't really change up the gameplay in the second half. Manchester City players made too many mistakes in the first half for them to concede 2 goals, definitely the worst thing when I expect them to win and control the match.

I have to admit that in the second half Manchester City played more effectively where since the first goal and both of them happened in a short time opened up hope of victory in the end. Alvarez and Haaland scored within 3 minutes between the first and second goals, possibly Mahrez being the hero of victory over Manchester City's fantastic comeback in this match. Now only 5 points difference with Arsenal, there is still hope to continue to make the distance closer.

I am not a bit impressed about Totenham. They didn't perform like a big team. If by mistake Newcastle got 2 goals against any team in the first half, their worst result in that match would be a draw.
I didn't know what happened to Totenham and why they decided to defend the two goals. Going up for more goals in the second half would have pressured Manchester City the more because they are not used to pressures.

Who is going to do that? Maybe few people but I can not do that. I will rather prefer to have taken the match to be over 2.5 from the beginning or going for both team will score instead. Live matches are not better for me because I do lose live matches than to have chose what would be the outcome of the match before they start. I might have even gone for Tottenham to win after scoring the second goal.

Manchester City tried, I was thinking already that they have lost the match in the first half as Tottenham Hotspur scored the second goal in the first half, but Manchester City surprised us in the second half as they began to score and they won.

I actually agreed that Man City weren't playing badly in their recent matches however every EPL clubs seem to have up their games and are giving the top teams tough time, look at Liverpool, Chelsea who usually have an easy wins over other teams are now struggling to win matches, meanwhile in yesterday's match Lloris Tottenham goalkeeper was at fault in two of the goals scored by Man City due poor clearance, I think he should have done better recall he was also at fault when they played Arsenal last weekend when he bundled in Saka shot into his own net, had he prevented those errors Man City wouldn't have won but maybe drew the match.

Apart from Arsenal and Newcastle most top EPL teams are underperforming. Like you pointed out it might be that most perceived low classed teams like Brighton and others have upgraded thier games making them very difficult to win. Most of these teams have quality coaches that have led their total transformation.

Poor defending would always make a goalkeeper to lose confidence. Lose of confidence is the cause of cheap blunders. Tottenham's problems is not Lloris, the total team is in shambles that Conte must do something or risk being sacked. This was a promising team that was tipped to win the EPL and at least Harry Kane would laid his hands on a trophy before he retires. Harry should understand that he is an eternal Tottenham legend and I think that's enough for one of the world's best but most unfortunate striker.

i thought manchester city would lose after they conceded 2 goals and it was a bit frustrating too because i bet on manchester city, but in the second half manchester city really gave me a good surprise, they can score 4 goals at once to turn things around

Tottenham were 2-0 up and then started the second half like with already won the game which is so Tottenham. Conte has a massive job on his hands. The defense was simply atrocious. So many individual mistakes. Man City gifted them 2 goals in the 1st half and anyone with any sense knew they would come out of the blocks in the 2nd half. Why didn't Conte reinforce the midfield with 3 across the middle and go to a straight back 4. Even with the pressing, with their quality they just played around them. Conte needs to go back to basics and sort out his defense.

Tottenham fans were hardly happy after betting on a win after 2-0 in the first half, because Manchester City scored 4 in the second half. In general, Tottenham's squad is in trouble, Leurys has given up a lot after the World Cup, Hye Sung Min still can't find his game, it is unclear what Dyer and Davies are doing in the squad, only Kane as usual does everything in his power, without him Tottenham would look quite awful.

In response to this defeat, in my opinion, many Tottenham fans were disappointed, especially Antonio Conte, of course, very disappointed, because he was given good hopes by scoring two goals in the first half and maybe there was a chance to win and Tottenham also played very well.
but in the second half of the match Manchester City turned sadistic and were able to make a perfect comeback and turn things around by scoring 4 goals against Tottenham, and that was a difference of 2 goals which were all created in the second half by Manchester City and that was extraordinary.
