Half time: Manchester United 0 - 0 Manchester City
Two good chances during the 35 minutes of the first half through Marcus Rashford failed to become goals. Manchester City also didn't look very promising until 45 minutes. Erling Haaland had to come down to the centre of the pitch to pick up the ball. This means that Manchester United's midfield was very active throughout the first half.
The first half of the match was played well, as I expected; however, I know it will not be easy for Manchester City because Manchester United is also in good form and will want to win the match.
Manchester United created more chances than Manchester City, and they dominated the game, but they lacked proper finishing ability. I believe that if Manchester City had gotten the chance that United did, the story would be different by now.
The second half later, it looks like there will be a change in strategy for both teams. The Manchester United camp seems that Antony will be played by Erik ten Hag. If Rashford can continue the match until the end, then Martial will be the player who will be replaced by Antony considering that the first half has not seen Martial's role as an attacker.
The style of play should change slightly in the second half; both managers are very experienced; I believe they will make some changes so that they can both win, but there will only be one winner.
If Manchester United can maintain this level of performance, they will undoubtedly win the match; if they make any errors and give Manchester City a clear chance, Haaland will score.
