That's true! Lucky United so far as they didn't show anything new or a great football style so I think this 2 winning streak will end next game as personally I don't see United catching an UCL spot for next year and that would be a great payback for Ronaldo treatment
.
UCL spot is a dream for Manchester United and currently they have good chance to take it but I agree with you, at the end maybe they won't get it. Many clubs in Premier League want that UCL spots and they can take it too. United have so many competitors and they are not better than competitors.
City needs points without a doubt and I don't see Pep giving up so easily on EPL title and he will find a way to boost his team back on feet and make them score and win games.
City still have good difference with Arsenal so it is too soon to give up the Premier League title to Arsenal. Pep knows that his squad is strong enough to beat Arsenal in rest of season. Things can be changed a lot with only 5 points different between two top clubs.
Arsenal...no one wants to face them right now as whoever face them , ends up losing.
They can not win against all opponents but right now, they are creating fear on their opponents. Want it or not, opponents must play against Arsenal and some day Arsenal will lose matches. They can not avoid it in a long season.
From the start, Ten Hag did not target any titles this season. he just wants his troops to win game after game. although it had slumped at the start of the season, in fact The Red Devils were able to rank 4th in the Premier League standings. in fact, Man United is almost close to Man City, only 4 points away. the meeting match between Manchester Utd vs Manchester City, can be a place to prove as well as reduce the point difference between these two teams. for sure, Man United is on the right track.
Arsenal, can slip up anytime, City is no exception. because City will be visiting Old Trafford, the headquarters of The Red Devils. I know that City's chances are higher than The Red Devils. however, it is possible that Erik Ten Hag's squad will surprise and overthrow Manchester City in the match later.
Arsenal have only lost once so far, while City have lost two and drawn three times. that is why the young Gunners are still able to keep their distance from City. What is certain is that Arsenal are currently in a positive trend phase even though they have lost one of their pillars, namely Gabriel Jesus. however, with the arrival of new arrivals this January.
I am quite optimistic that the Gunners will continue to progress with a positive trend in each of their matches.
