City played very competently, they did not let Chelsea do anything, for the whole match there were only two shots on target by City. Guardiola built the game very competently, all zones were blocked and Chelsea could not even cross the middle of the field without problems. After losing points with Everton, City have no right to make mistake, the gap of 5 points is already very large.

Very entertaining match, both from Man City or Chelsea both played well. Even Chelsea game is not as bad as we think. This season they haven't really improved much, but when they have such an extraordinary club in front of them, of course, Chelsea's players can adjust to the opponent's game. I think Chelsea just need a few touches of aggressive players up front. Especially now that the Blues are ranked 10th in the standings, clearly not a promising position.

I think that Manchester City deserved the win yesterday night and not because they dominated the game but because they acted like a big team and played in a very pragmatic way which gave them the win.Chelsea opted to do the same and not go all in attacking but the quality of the players of Manchester City is clearly superior to that of Chelsea.Now Manchester City is again back to being 5 points difference to Arsenal which lost 2 points in the game against Newcastle so City won 2 points in the battle with Arsenal.

Really enjoyed this match. Both Chelsea and Manchester City played excellent football. Chelsea put Manchester City under great pressure from the start of the game. But Manchester City managed to score a goal in the second half and took control of the game.

The match between Manchester City and Chelsea has been very competitive. Although Chelsea lost, their defense showed great skill. But Manchester City kept more of the ball to themselves. Chelsea missed some great chances.

Last night match still make me believe that Manchester City is not undefeatable. Assuming Chelsea has available all their players Manchester City wouldn't have won that match.
Chelsea played nice football but they could not maintain the tempo of their strength till the end of the match. I wanted the match to end draw but it didn't go my way.

I also thought Man City could score more goals, but even this win with a minimum score suited them, as they picked up three points and closed the gap with the leaders in the standings... Chelsea really didn't play badly in this game, but now they are not capable of competing with the leaders... I think they'll stay in the middle this season...

It is always very hard for Manchester city to beat Chelsea. and again Manchester City always found it difficult to score Chelsea with many goals nowadays compared with to Manchester united and arsenal. But watching that match yesterday I discovered that some of man city player are not in form especially  foden and Rodrigo and even de-bruyne was not that playing better.

Man City was able to bring on substitutes like Mahres and Grealish, who helped the team attack more and even score goals in the second half. When these players are added to the squad, little changes are made by Man City. Given Chelsea's recent poor performance, I even entertained the possibility that Man City would score four or five goals.but seriously Chelsea try their best.

The match is interesting and honestly I think a draw would be a fair result for both teams. Each team had a good half (Chelsea had a first half and Manchester City had a second half) so generally, they should end the match with a draw.

With three points from Chelsea and a draw from Arsenal, Manchester City reduced their difference with Arsenal to only 5 points.  A next match day, they will both have two big matches with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. It will be a week to see a clearer chance of Arsenal in this season. If they fail, Manchester City win, I believe that The Gunners will fall into a crisis and let Manchester City take a lead again.

Haaland has yet found his best performance after his injury. He still scores goals for Manchester City but he does not create too much pressure and danger in opponent defense like months ago.

The chance of Lewis Hall is not too clear in my opinion. It is even smaller than a half of chance but you're right, it is a last chance Chelsea created in the match.

In big matches, things can be changed very quickly. The match between Chelsea and Manchester City was decided by only one goal.

In a first half, Chelsea created more opportunities and they came very closely to hit Manchester City goal net. However, they were lack of luck and could not have at least one goal.

In the second half, Manchester City played better but before the goal of Manchester City, Chelsea had a very good chance from Thiago Silva. Finally Riyad Mahrez scored an easy goal and Chelsea defense should do better in that situation when Manchester City only had 2 players in their box.

Chelsea vs. Man City I actually did enjoy the game, the first half was not at all easy for Man City and showed how they were struggling, and Chelsea was ready to hold them, however, the second half was when Man City was able to score and there was no way for Haaland to score after all of his attempts. I wanted Chelsea to win so that the difference between Arsenal and Man City would be large.

City was getting full points while potter must feel so bad with another bad result achieved by chelsea. Again and again striker has become the main problem for chelsea. The quality of current striker of chelsea is so bad. It can be see from the positioning of striker that didn't even wanna try to get into the front. Some golden chances already made but striker was not able doing what he should do.
Chelsea has come to the its end in the potter's era, meanwhile MU under ten hag is starting to go up again.

Before the end in 91 Min. Chelsea had the chance to make it 1-1. Gallagher plays to Lewis Hall who is free in front and he shoots the ball over the goal. But something is strange, Haaland has not scored a goal So, now there only 5 points to 1st place in the league. Next week City must play against United and Arsenal against Tottenham Hotspur, the chance to only 2 points lead and City is ready.

Chelsea performaned well in the first half of the match yesterday, they make sure that Manchester City couldn't penetrate their defense, Manchester City couldn't break Chelsea defense in the first half, but I don't know what happened to Chelsea in the second half of the match, their defense was kind of open compare to first half which was making it easy for Manchester city to penetrate, Manchester City had lots of opportunities in second half but they were able to convert just one into goal.

In the Premier League match, Chelsea vs Man City, this team played a very beautiful game. But Man City scored 1 goal in 63 minutes and won the match. However, in the game, after many efforts of Chelsea and Man City, Man City succeeded in scoring. If we point  Looking at the table, we can see that Man City is now in the 2nd place. However, in this match, there was a really great game between the two teams. Chelsea started playing very well at the beginning of the game.

I did not watch the match and I checked the statistic of the match at flashscore.com. What I can read in the statistic is that, Manchester City made 12 goals attempts with 3 shot on target while Chelsea made 8 goal attempts with 2 shot o target. This statistic shows the opposite situation with what you say here. Did you watch the match and you made your own analysis or what you said is based on other statistic?

Manchester City winning over Chelsea fc has sent a strong signal to Arsenal that they have to sit up. Arsenal has been doing very well since this season and against what people think they kept doing well without Jesus.
The draw they got with Newcastle is also a good result because Newcastle isn't a small club and they were ready to win the match.

What needs to be highlighted is the role of Graham Potter in cultivating his players, just look at last night again when Kai Havertz was plotted as the main striker again, I can't stop thinking about what Graham Potter was thinking about setting up the formation. However, looking at the data available at the start of the match, Rahem Sterling had been pulled out to be replaced by Aubameyang and that turned Aubameyang into the main striker again. But the result is still the same, they can't do anything, yes, even though the opponent is Man City, at least they are able to provide fierce resistance, especially when playing as the host, Chelsea should be able to gain points or at least get a draw in this match.

I don't even think chelsea can leave from so many problems easily. Chelsea has problem in all of sectors. This team didn't have good midfielder and defender. Azpili and thiago may the only good defenders who rarely making blunders like another defenders like fofana or even cucurela which has been known as a failed transfer by chelsea caused by cucurela was making so many blunders .
It seems like that playing in the chelsea was not giving good impact for his career. Chelsea was losing another points again which has been making the gap become very big to the another top clubs

Chelsea didn't play so bad. The thing I saw is that a lot of their balls were not on target.
I think they held Man City good. It was the substitutes that were able to create chances and score. The problem with Chelsea is that their good players are injured, and it is affecting their performance.
I hope Chelsea is able to redeem themselves in the match with City again in the coming days.
Jack Grealish and Riyad Mahrez were awesome in the match.

Manchester City continues to follow Arsenal.  I couldn't see much of Chelsea's position in the match.  Chelsea could not pose a great danger, except for one position of Pulisic.  Arsenal's draw with Newcastle pushed City to play with even more pressure.  City found a lot of chances.  The game could have ended differently.  However, as a result, it was important to get 3 points, even if it was with 1 goal.  I was a little surprised that the goalkeeper did not interfere with the ball and watched it when Chelsea conceded.  It's not a mistake the goalkeeper of a team of this level would make.
