There is a contestable penalty decision waive off by  the VAR though referee was not called that was in favor of Newcastle Dan Burn pulled back Gabriel when Arsenal was awarded a free-kick, however the second hand ball wasn't a penalty, I believe Arteta was not contended with a draw that is why he was furious and very bitter with the referee decision which almost resulted into a confrontation with Edward Howe at the sideline, Arteta should know that Arsenal can't win all matches but they have to be very consistent with their performances week in week out to maintain their first position on the table.

It was a tough game for Manchester United but somehow their form has improved so far and to be in the top 4 of the English league at least Ten Hag has made a good change for Manchester United.
This is the second week in a row against tough teams, it will be more difficult to beat Manchester City even though we know they are playing at home but the Manchester duo match will still be on the cards, whether the red devils are able to win again or have to stick with Mancity.

Manchester United return to the top 4 rankings indicates that Manchester United will be a big threat to Manchester City and Arsenal if they are unable to maintain consistency in every match.

we'll see how conte implements a more efficient game scheme to be able to win in today's match. indeed, tottenham performance after the world cup was quite disappointing because harry kane et al had to lose to Aston villa. Apart from that, Tottenham in their standings table has been knocked out of the top 4 which looks like this will be a significant decrease in performance for them. So Conte must be able to make changes in the match against Crystal Palace today, I have seen the line up from Tottenham in today match where Harry Kane and Son and Gil will spearhead Tottenham in the match later. I hope Harry Kane can find his good form again and be able to score goals.

What do you expect, Tottenham will be played in front of their fans tonight and Aston villa being the club away is going to have a tough outing tonight as Tottenham is in a better position and advantage over Aston villa tonight.

Tottenham's performance this season has been worrisome and alot of matches have been lost to the point that Tottenham is below the top five on the premier league table at the moment, and if nothing is done to revive the position of the club henceforth, it may become tougher for Tottenham to make any big impact this season or beyond.

Right now, we are near the half of the season and things are pretty clear as now we have four top teams can fight for the title in this season Manchester City is having tough matches in coming weeks with Arsenal is also now having next meeting against Tottenham which will give better view about their chance to win this year's title.

Currently, Arsenal is leading the table with eight points and having one match in hand hopefully Citizens will beat Chelsea and cut the deficit by just five points which is still good for the leaders but in January window things can change because Arsenal is having few targets if they are able to complete these transfers then surely they could be in better shape otherwise we can expect good fight for the title until end of the season with Newcastle United and Manchester United both are also improving quality and performance.

And I will choose Tottenham, because this game is very important for Tottenham and victory must be achieved after 3 matches with bad results with two draws and one defeat.
however, if we look at the last few matches between the two teams, nothing has been really consistent. But for Tottenham I'm sure Antonio Conte will change the way they play, especially up front who struggle to score goals

There is no reason not to try to do your best against Crystal Palace, and Tottenham should be reaping positive results after only earning 1 point in their last 2 matches. Brentford and Aston Villa managed to get points from Tottenham, it was very disappointing.

Of course Conte will be very worried about the result of this match and he will have to do everything he can to win it. On the other hand, Crystal Palace, who previously won against Bournemouth, will certainly be very motivated to get more points. I doubt they can beat Tottenham, and actually Tottenham are the favorites for this away match.

After Arsenal played Tottenham in the first leg this season where they were totally outplayed by Arsenal, I noticed that Tottenham is a team that their only tactics is counter attack, and if you can manage to stop that they have nothing else to play but rely on luck. I maintain that stance, it is clearly evident now  with their very recent poor results that they have been having. They have struggle this season a lot, and against crystal palace Tottenham will loose even though it is important that they get a win.

The opportunity to fight for the title this season for MU is still wide open because the season is still long. But I'm not sure whether MU can win the next game, namely against Man City. But because the game was held at Old Trafford, I think MU has a chance in that game. because the position as the host can provide a fairly positive effect. And Man city is also not very good after this season's break restarted. because even Everton was able to hold on to a 1-1 draw against Man city. this is where I started having doubts about Man City.

Tottenham definitely need a win right now. Things are getting worse for them by every week. Maybe Brentford game was really tough but they should have been able to benefit from home stadium advantage against Aston Villa. They couldn't even get a point in that game. Now Manchester United have left them behind in the standings and the current gap is even 5 points.

This is getting more alarming for Conte's Tottenham so I hope to see improved performances against C. Palace tonight. Maybe they are having problems in defense especially but they can still win by starting to be better at finishing.

It’s funny how everybody expects Arsenal to drop points and get displaced from the top. I think this is just because they shared a point with Newcastle and Manchester United won their game to move to the top 4 zone. Football is funny at times, games you don’t expect them to win are the ones they’ll get maximum points from. Likewise Newcastle United, they’ve been consistent this season and if they continue with that momentum, I don’t see them dropping down any time soon.

Today my attention will be on Crystal Palace vs Tottenham as we know Tottenham got bad results in the last 2 matches even when playing at home they can't do anything. Today Tottenham will play away against the Middle Team which is in the same situation unstable sometimes playing aggressively sometimes playing bad therefore this match is not easy to predict. As a gambler, I will prefer to bet on Both Teams to Score than Money Line because the risk is lower, Kane and Son must be able to collaborate to score goals and forget the last bad results, if today it still fails then they will lose the opportunity to get a Champions League ticket.

I think having beaten just good teams doesn't mean that they are suddenly showing improvement or they are good. They are 9th now but probably 10th to be fair and that means they are at the midtable type of team situation and that is not really that hard to reach in the premier league if you have a wonderful season as a bottom team.

Most bottom teams try to be great for a year after a few years of being bad, like they gather all the resources and use it on a single year, and hope to make a lot of money and hopefully go to continental cups, being midtable is the bottom of that pile, because it means they will go back to being back benchers again. Wait until next season, they will battle not going down for sure.

Chelsea won only one game out of their last five matches and having a draw in a walk over game they were supposed to have over Nottingham Forest. I see the Chelsea vs Manchester City game as the biggest home defeat Chelsea will have to face this season. Haaland will gladly add to his score record. It can't even end in a half-time draw. Chelsea will both lose to city in the PL and FA Cup on the 8th. Double defeat loading.

I don't see any chance for Newcastle winning the Title honestly, but Man United will give a real fight for the Premier League Title. Things will change for Arsenal if they lose two matches or even a couple of draws will be costly for them. Though Manchester City is seven points behind Arsenal they also played one match less than Arsenal which is a plus point for them. First and second positions of the point table will be decided in the next round when these two teams face each other, maybe for New Castle it is also a fight to stay in the top four.

I don't really know if it is only me or any other person is feeling that VDB is not living upto expectations.
Erik ten Hag has decided to be giving him good playing time and in all his featuring for Erik ten Hag, there is no single match that I will say I was impressed by Beek's performance.
I feel that he is blowing up his chances.

Manchester United has been performing very well recently. They have got four back-to-back wins. That is certainly positive news for them. And that is going to be music to the ears of Manchester United fans, who certainly did not have too many things to cheer about in recent times.

Manchester United won the match against Bournemouth convincingly. It was a 3-0 score in favour of Manchester United. This was a good positive result for them, and this was also a morale-boosting win for them.

But the problem is in the next English Premier League match. They are going to face Manchester City. And I am sure that Manchester City is going to be very hungry for a win.

Actually, I really can't or can't bear to see an incident like this in a match, because I feel it too because of course it hurts a lot. Several times I saw incidents such as a broken leg occurring in a football match, and it was really terrible and of course also very unfortunate.
It's difficult to avoid something like this and I hope Donny van de Beek is okay because if I look at the pictures it's clear it's going to be a very serious injury.

But apart from that incident and related to the way Erik ten Hag coached Manchester United it was very good because in fact, Erik ten Hag was also able to give good results for Manchester United before the season started.
