Gabriel Jesus has been silent because he is more interested in the win than scoring alone. His contribution is equivalent to the goals he could not get. Man United victory was of course very important and they managed to shift Chelsea. Whether it's too early or not as Erik Ten Hag may remain a very disciplined coach. The victory deserves to be appreciated because it is the result of hard work done after training in preparation for the match. Manchester United's victory today is a good sign as proof that they are starting to be on a good trend to compete in the top 4, but it will not heat up the top spot still controlled by Arsenal or Manchester City.

Manchester United's return to a good track is a testament to Ten Hag's success as his coach. Ten Hag have made some changes in the team and the strategy carried in the team play, and honestly it has made them perform well in a number of matches. After his private talks with Ten Hag about some of the problems they are facing it is clear this is a good thing and of course this could dash hopes for the fans who expected him to leave Old Trafford.
This narrow victory is enough to bring them into the top 5 now although their performance in the last 5 matches still looks inconsistent but of course it is a beautiful victory now.

It was an extraordinary game, a very strong match given West Ham to the Manchester United back line for most of the second half, however, De Gea responded with spectacular saves, so the score held until the end for Manchester United's 1-0 win.

This additional 3 points puts Manchester United back into 5th position in the English league standings with 23 points from 12 matches that have been played.

David de Gea really showed high level of performance tonight at the goal post, the header save around the 70th minutes was what surprised me when I felt it was already in, and another improvement I observed was that of Harry Maguire compared to his recent games, and should he improve more on it United won't be getting worried at his start in any match.

A meager victory for Manchester United against West Ham United. The joy will not be less. I don't know what the management's expectations are at the moment towards United and ten Hag.
