Maddison is the man of the match with two incredible goals and assists. His performance weigh down their opponents in the king power stadium, and the fans are cheering for their first win of the season, not an easy one for the Foxes boss, Brendan Rodgers glad that his team are gradually getting back to their form after a long waited winning points. For the victims, Nottingham Forest looks to be heading back the championship and Jesse Lingard failed to make a good impact in the game after Nottingham failed to net a single goal with throwing away several scoring chances.
I think that winning a match proves nothing for the club to go back to the right track. That may become pretty much the same like what happened with MU. Yeah that's good leicester was win against nottingham but there will be more matches to come.
I think that we can know that after leicester may win several matches. taking a conclusion only after winning by another team in a match gives no reliable result.
It seems like that brendan will not be sacked very soon from leicester

Great return to the truck Leicester City. They won against Nottingham Forest by 4-0. This is Leicester City's first win of the season. They are still in the relegation zone. Their main weakness was their defense. They conceded 22 goals in 7 matches. Leicester's attacking players are very talented. But due to poor defense, they are at the bottom of the points table. If the defenders are able to maintain the consistency of their performance in the upcoming matches, then Leicester can climb up the points table.

Leicester's victory in my opinion is good for the mentality of the team. but in that game, to be honest, their game still didn't develop well.
previously Leicester was destroyed by Tottenham and Brighton. Getting a win from a team that is both in the relegation zone in my opinion is mandatory for Leicester. that is if they want to stay in the Premier League next season.
We'll see how it performs in the next game.

It's quite humbling a result Man United got from Man City last weekend if you ask me. What I observed was a porous defense, most of the players did exactly opposite of Ten Haag plans: marking only Haaland and forgetting the rest of the deadly players.

I could imagine how frustrated they got when in the first half of the game, they were losing by four goals to one, but what I actually admired was their determination to put in something. At least, they did not go down without a fight. But a loss is still one and they would have managed to climb 5th if they had secured the three points.

Manchester city really prove to Manchester united that they still remain unbeatable in this season by scoring 4 goals in the first half to prepare the mind of their fans that they will defeat Manchester united, which they did at the end of the match. Despite, the players marking the Haaland not to score any goal , but he still achieved 3 goals from the match to let people know that he still remain among the best strikers in this premier league competition. I think, Manchester united coach need to work on their defense before their remaining matches, because their defense was very weak for Manchester city strikers to have access easily to score 6 goals to defeated Manchester united.

Chelsea in the next match will be against a team that is not strong, namely Wolves. So far Wolves have lost 4 times and only won 1 against Southampton. of course chelsea should be able to win easily in this match.
But before facing Wolves, Chelsea will first compete in the Champions League against Milan. and it will be a tough game for Chelsea.

In the Europa League and Premier League, Ten Hag field completely different squads and have different match tactics. Manchester United's performance in Europa League matches is even weaker.
They don't prioritize Europa League even if they take that trophy, they will have a ticket to Champions League next season even they won't complete this season in top 4 of Premier League. However, both Manchester United and Ten Hag are realistic enough to know they are not competitive enough to win Europa League. Therefore they want to focus more on a long run in Premier League where they can fix mistakes but still be able to achieve good standing at the end.

Quote
Even if Ronaldo is with the squad, he is not playing well.
First of all, the club don't use a strongest squad for Europa League. Second, Ronaldo still has issue with his mind, confidence and body fitness too. His age has shown bigger negative impact on his performance in this season.

Quote
United face Omonia in their next match after a poor performance against Manchester City. Ten Hag should aim to improve his match strategy and strengthen his defense. If they don't improve their match strategy and defense, we won't get a better performance than Manchester United.
First they need to win it because without 3 points, there will be more drama as well as pressure on them.
Second they should take advantage of such small matches to train their players more, test tactics as well as improve quality of their squad in general.

If Arsenal hadn't made a surprise this year, we could have declared Manchester City champions today. Let's see how long Arsenal will be able to maintain their successful form.
Only declare it after Man City wins against Arsenal on matchday 12. If Man City can beat them, then it is very likely Man City to win EPL title again this season. In the near future, Liverpool will try to steal points from Arsenal and Man City. Arsenal vs Liverpool on matchday 10, Liverpool vs Man City on matchday 11. If Liverpool succeeds to steal points from one of those teams, it can be the indicator of which team to lead the standings until the season ends.
Indeed, from the results of the match we can only see who is the most superior to be the strongest candidate. but I prefer that Manchester city will continue to gain points and will be top of the table until the end. but I realize it's too soon if I say it now. because change can happen unexpectedly. so we better see their match later.

The closest match is Arsenal Vs Liverpool. I still can't predict the outcome of this match.

I agree with you Manchester United played better in the second half than they did in the first half maybe if they started the game in such tempo and strength they wouldn't have conceived that number of goals in the first half and for the fact that Manchester United could score three goals in the game it would have been a 50:50 game for both teams but they failed to put a good performance in the first half and unluckily for them they fell 4 goals down already before the wake up and it was already too late to come back in the game.
If Manchester United had scored 6 goals in the second half and at least played a draw in this match, then it would still be possible to say something positive about the team's game in the third half of the match, or at least United would not have conceded two more goals after their goal and at least played a decent 4-3. However, even for a loss with a minimum score in football, three points are not given, so the result would still be negative. Therefore, only the subsequent Manchester United matches will be able to show whether the team can hold a blow, that it was just an unfortunate misunderstanding and the team got out of the crisis. Or this loss will again plunge Manchester United into a black streak from which the team has started to get out of it recently. In any case, it is not necessary to draw far-reaching conclusions from this defeat and MU still has a lot of time to join the fight for at least a place in the Champions League.
I agree that a loss is a loss, because they got no points from the match, it's not a positive thing, but scoring three goals in a match is not that bad, and conceding 6 is really bad, so I don't know what to feel about it, we might have to wait and see what they're going to do in Eutopa League and their next match in the premier league to judge them.
It will give a huge pressure to MU again. MU has been winning some matches in a row but once it was facing a big team and it was always facing huge problem with its performance. 3 goals meant nothing while MU was still losing another 3 goals again. It seems like that MU may win when it will be against low tier team in the europa league but the different situation to compare manchester city with club that played in the europa league.
City is farrrr better compared with the next team that will be faced by MU in the upcoming match in europa league

The performance of Maddison against Nottingham Forest was exceptional. Since day one, Maddison has always had Daka's back. His most important assists have all gone to Daka. Nottingham was the victim of Leicester's frustration throughout the season. You get that result when you replace an entire team that worked hard to get promoted. There's no hope for Nottingham Forest, they're on their way down. If Nottingham Forest dumps the players, what will it gain? The old squad is no longer with them. There is a difficulty in adapting and blending the new players. Their mistakes were caused by their lack of appreciation for the old squad and their belittling of it.

It's quite humbling a result Man United got from Man City last weekend if you ask me.
Did anyone ever hoped for something different? I guess the answer to that is definitely NO!

The best Manchester United would have gotten put of that fixture is a draw and a draw would do no good to Pep Guardiola especially with the way Arsenal is going at there games. I never expected them to hold the top spot so far but they continue to have good results in there games. Beating Spurs by 3 goals to 1 was so not expected and the only chance Spurs had in the game to get a consolation goal was a penalty. Against an underrated Arsenal from 2 seasons back, that's ridiculous but the current reality.

Now Manchester City realises the competition as it is and haven't gotten so close, having a large gap in between is not an option as that could also create space for other teams to become serious rivals. Manchester United need to size themselves up as per performance/form and am sure they got it.

Sure, Man City players' quality is better. But on the field, the favorite team cannot always win the match.

I will say the winner of the EPL title won’t be determined by Manchester city beating Arsenal or Arsenal beating Manchester city. The season is still young and everybody is performing and showing capacity. Both teams are picking one game at the time and it’s how they can deal with these teams that really matters. Once you are getting results from your fixtures, then you have a chance of winning the league title. Manchester city can beat Arsenal and later in the season drop some points against other teams why Arsenal might win more games after the defeat to Manchester city. It’s how you’re able to be consistent after one defeat that matters.

Omonia wouldn't be a big challenge for them in Europa League but if they lose or even get a draw, it could mean that they are out of competition for any title this season unless they improve somehow, the next match in the prem will be against Everton away, which quite a challenge and I'm thinking about betting on Man utd to win,  but Everton are doing well lately, and the odds are @1.9 for man utd to win, pretty low for match such circumstances of both teams to be considered.
