Arsenal are still maintaining their lead in the standings but this might not last too long as well. Because their next league game is going to be against Liverpool. Even though it is in Emirates it is still a tough game for them. Liverpool are still dealing with defensive issues and we saw how serious it was in the Brighton game. Arsenal are even a tougher opponent.

Looking at the head-to-head games, Liverpool have been superior to them in this stadium in league games. However this time is much different than those because of the recent problems. Arsenal are a very effective offense team now. The best betting option would be both teams to score @1.54.

after MU experienced 5 previous victories, finally Man City destroyed Man U with a score of 6-3, Haaland was incredible. even from all the european leagues (la Liga, bundesliga etc.), I see his goalscoring is the most (currently 14 goals), he is the right man city purchase.
Due to the team's depth, losing one or two players to injury doesn't really affect the performance. It is possible for one player to play multiple positions. That's what Manchester United lacks. The genius of Pep Guardiola was his foresight to place a player outside of his position.

Mo Salah's contributions this season have dropped drastically, I can remember how well his partnership with Mane made the team so strong and fierce and it looks likely that the weight of the team and attacking strength now rest of his shoulders. Whether or not people agree with this the truth remains that Mane was a massive boost to Salah performance now the new signings have to fill in and put in their best to improve the team.
Losing his partner means losing a half from his performance. that means sadio mane was the best partner for him but a big mistake by liverpool to let him gone to the another club like bayern. that was also affecting the performance from salah too.
it's impossible to bring back mane to the liverpool agian caused by bayern will be rejecting any offer for him. I do agree with it. It can be seen easily from the performance from salah.
It was decreasing drastically since sadio was leaving from the club
yep, if we compare the wrong performance from last season then we see a drastic decline in him, nunez is not a player who can replace mane at liverpool, so far nunez still can't get along with liverpool players.

I understand why Erik ten Hag didn't prefer Ronaldo in the starting eleven. It was because of Rashford's recent form as he made a great impression in the Arsenal game as well. But I really don't get why he insists on not choosing Casemiro for the midfield at the beginning. He entered the game in the 60th minute this time.

Manchester United are paying so much money for his salary and he has been brought here to strengthen the midfield. But Erik ten Hag doesn't look like he is willing to give him bigger chances. If he continues to do this then this transfer will be a waste of money.
Even though if you look at their condition in the first half, it is the midfield that must be improved but Ten Hag is quite slow in my opinion to overhaul it.
For the reason Ronaldo is not playing maybe this is a good thing because Martial as a substitute really played well and not necessarily Ronaldo can do something like this but indeed for the midfield even though they have about 5 players there but it doesn't work properly in the game this.

I see people keep on complaining about Erik not using Ronaldo and casemiro in the match, seriously I don't know why he didn't start casemiro, things might have been different if he started him. But people complaining about him not starting Ronaldo, even if Erik started Ronaldo they will still lose, i dont think Ronaldo will play anything special than what he has been playing from the beginning of the season, Ronaldo performance have been bad this season maybe due to his old age, or maybe he is having other problems but his performance have been very poor this season.
People need not complain because Ronaldo's exclusion from the match because it would have made no or little difference. Manchester City was in total control of the match until the last ten minutes. The pace of the match was very fast and I doubt if Ronaldo would have kept up the pace considering his age. The loss can be very frustrating considering that United have had straight four wins but I am sure they would bounce back. I heard coach Erik ten Hag has called for a meeting with the players for them to analyze what went wrong. United needs to solve its midfield and defensive problems because they really underperformed.

Sometimes you don't cherish what you have until you lose it. Sadio Mane might have been the engine room of the Liverpool attack and it is showing now because of his absence. One striking attribute of Mane was his selflessness and Salah was a major beneficiary. With his strength and pace, he would create opportunities for Salah to finish. But in my own opinion just as Foden and Haaland are enjoying their partnership, Salah and Mane were meant to be together. Mane is also not having a very good time in Bayern Munich.

Manchester United must admit that Manchester City is an opponent that is difficult for them to beat, even though Manchester United in the previous match appeared quite impressive.
I was expecting Manchester united to preform better than they played today, Manchester city humiliated united today, the way Manchester united have been playing incredibly well recently I was thinking the match will be a very competitive one, which might endup ending maybe draw but Manchester city just proof that they are better than Manchester United, seriously Manchester united should be ashamed, 6 goals to 3 that's kind of much to be.
I am disappointed with Erik tactical scheme in this match because he chose to reserve Ronaldo and Casemiro in this match, Erik should have played Casemiro to be able to withstand any attacks from Manchester City.

Haaland stats are outstanding and if he keeps this up he will be the highest goal scorer in the league this season. I love the premier league because it is more competitive than the Bundesliga and Laliga, but Manchester City are gradually turning the league to a farmers league. The amount of money they spend buying players and building the super strong team. I’m afraid no team in the epl can match them player to player. Arsenal are doing very well this season but they are no match for City. Manchester United was the victim today, other opponents will likely face the same fate.
Haaland is the most shining player in the Premier League so far as a striker. His outstanding performances have earned him an impressive goal stats, how not 14 goals in 8 matches is something that is hard to imagine. Pep Guardiola is very happy with Haaland's performance, he looks so happy every time Haaland scores and I can see him celebrating.

Haaland confirmed after the match was over via his Twitter account with Foden: "Manchester is blue!".

Where are the Man United fans? You guys should come here we have an unfinished business. Lol... Truly if I was a Man-U fan I will be hiding myself because of today disgrace by Man City, because to be frankly speaking i really enjoyed todays game seeing the almighty Man United been humiliated. And if you can remember i made a comment about this game earlier last week that Man City will win todays game with pride with at least 5goals total, but today it seems my prediction was an understatement as Man City alone flogged Man United with 6 goals alone scored by my guy Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, the best stricker and midfielder this season has ever got. So with the energy Man-City is putting into its matches, i'm sure they have a greater chance of winning this year's Premier League.

Erling Haaland & Phil Foden are indeed the men of todays game

The match ended with a score of 6-3. Of course this was a very embarrassing defeat, especially in the first half 4-0, which made us believe that Manchester United would not be able to pay for it, and of course this proved to be a poor performance and under constant pressure from Manchester City and players become unmotivated and mentally weak.

Foden and Haaland got their second hattrick it was really impressive I watched 90 minutes and we can see the goal feast in this game but still Man United have the bad luck that Man City can't fully match.
It's still below their class, I don't think there's been any significant changes from Ten Hag and we'll see how the game turns into a terrible moment.
Of course you are right, Manchester City is not in the same class as Manchester United at this time. Although in the end Manchester United was able to score 3 goals in the second half, it is undeniable that Manchester City rotated a lot and rested many of their players. But Manchester United's gameplay really improved in the last 10 minutes before the match ended because they dominated the match and also scored goals.
United are a team that can play big games well even at their worst. Frankly, I was expecting City to win, but I thought even if they win, they will have a hard time. City deserve the championship until the end. I would like to thank all the players on the field for showing us such a beautiful match. Foden and Haaland's hat-tricks will never be forgotten. Haaland started to score De bruyne's assists as well. He's a complete beast. I have never seen such a league start. It seems that Haaland will not leave an unbroken record, this has become obvious. I don't know how much worse United can play in the league now, but City is definitely coming to put an embargo on the world. I thought, after Ronaldo and Messi, a football player who can replace them will not come anymore, Haaland comes by breaking records.

Better still, it's three consecutive home hattricks for him. It has never happened in the English Premier League before. The lad is tearing the EPL apart like it's nothing  Grin
I remember some critics saying that he was scoring so much in the Bundesliga because it was a farmer's league. It makes me wonder what they think about the situation right now. Is the EPL also as a farmer's league now?

Erling Haaland is indeed Man City's best purchase in the transfer market this summer, because Haaland immediately adapted quickly, and Haaland
can score many goals for Man City. Even Haaland has scored a hat-trick 3 times this season in the Premier League, this means that with Haaland being
very productive, I am also very optimistic that Haaland will become the top goalscorer in the Premier League. One of Man City's successes is that
it is supported by very strong finances, Man City can bring in players whoever they want.

It is true that it is very difficult for other teams in the Premier League this season to compete with Man City, although Arsenal are currently playing well
and Arsenal are still in the top position, but I doubt Arsenal can consistently stay at the top until the end of the season. So most likely this season it is
Man City who will be the winner of the Premier League trophy. But Man City's achievement is not perfect if it has not been able to win the Champions
League trophy, but with Man City having Haaland I really believe Man City can win the Champions League trophy too this season.

Everyone is talking about the goals scored by some players. Yes, this is one of the things to talk about. But I want to talk about the state of Manchester United. They make Manchester United look like a small team. Who is behind this failure? Was it Ferguson who kept this team at the top? The other team may be stronger than you, but you are Manchester United. Yes, you can be defeated, but you can't be defeated like this. If they continue to be defeated in this way, the greatness of the Manchester United name will disappear. And this is very sad for me.
Well Manchester United have had quite a lot of embarrassing results in the past couple of years, they were indeed humilated today, but tbh many of their fans have seen many days like this in recent years and they'll prolly not be too surprised, the real disappointment today is that they came into this game on the back of some pretty decent results, and it looked like they were resurgent under their new manager, and ready to go toe to toe with any team, but i guess City brought them back to reality.

Having said that, i don't quite understand why you mentioned Fergie in your post, he has nothing to do with what the state of the club is at the moment, he gave them all of his best, and i know when a great manager leaves a team, the club struggles quite a lot, but in this case with United that struggle has lasted too long, they have tried too many managers afterwards and nothing seems to be working, it somewhat feels like Manchester United will never return to their elite status in English football.

Agree. No strikers in the world can compete with the awesome stats of Haaland. It is simply outstanding to score 14 goals in EPL, and also very productive in UCL. If Man City wins both EPL and UCL this season, Haaland should the best player in the world. He is one of the strongest candidates for balloon D'or.

Well, Man City has no competitors in the last few seasons. Even Liverpool seems no match with Man City anymore. While Man United and Chelsea are in bad conditions this season. And Tottenham or Arsenal seems still not on the same level as Man City. It is true that EPL seems no longer a competitive league, we even can predict Man City to win it before the season begins.

Haaland has been the most productive player this season and he is able to beat the dominance of senior players in the EPL in terms of contributing to the goal. even mohammed was wrong who was predicted to perform better this season but he seemed to have lost his good performance in breaking into the opponent's goal. 3 hat-tricks in his first season with Manchester City made him the fastest player in scoring a hat-trick because he only needed 8 games to do it all.

Haaland is showing this league very easy actually. This record reminds me of Lewandowski's records in the Bundesliga.  Grin  Haaland is doing the similar things in the Premier League now. Actually this is even a bigger job as this is the biggest league in Europe technically. The most quality football is being played here.

When it comes to "farmer's league" statement about the Premier League, hopefully this league won't be like that. However it is really difficult to be sure of anything while Manchester City are dominating the league this much. Haaland's arrival has completed the team literally and they are even scarier than before now. As long as they have him the rest of the teams have a very little chance for the title. Arsenal still keep their lead maybe but their turn will also come against Manchester City.  Smiley

Haaland's goal scoring ability is second to none, the way he scores goals like it is a piece of cake baffles me, an impressive 17 goals in 10 appearances, the lad is on fire. I have always feared Haaland going to Manchester city and now my fears are now taunting me lol. Manchester City was already an established team and Haaland joining them has only made things worse for other teams in the league. I just hope Manchester City doesn’t turn the EPL to a farmers league

Manchester City will be difficult to stop in the Premier League with the arrival of Erling Haaland. The performance he showed raised concerns for all Premier League clubs. Not yet entering the middle of the season, various records have been carved. It's really amazing!

But even though Manchester City currently has a very complete squad, it doesn't mean other teams should immediately raise the white flag, it should be a challenge for all Premier League teams to find a way to stop their run, otherwise the Premier League will be a boring spectacle. Every season if only one club always dominates.

Oh my God, I don’t think Haaland is from planet earth, I have not seen such a complete striker in my life, I just have to admit that Manchester city have got a golden boot in their hands. Haaland have completely taken the team to a different level, they now play with so much confidence going forward knowing they have Haaland up front to score the goals. Haaland is scoring and cannot stop scoring goals three hatricks in 8 games is just incredible.
