Ten Hag was brave enough to take short-term risks by not playing Maguire and Ronaldo from the first half. These two main players aren't at their best so it's good for Ten Hag to keep them in for a few games at the moment. But the most impressive thing is that Manchester United is able to maintain its best performance even though it has not fully improved in various positions.
I think Manchester United fans now just need to enjoy improving their team's performance and not get their hopes up for bigger things. The Arsenal fans expect the same thing because I think both teams are still very likely to not be able to maintain their best form. For the Manchester United vs Arsenal match, I think it will end in a draw and that is a pretty realistic result in my opinion.
Honestly it is not really even a "bravery" to not play Maguire at this point. I get the Ronaldo one, but why keep him playing until he goes? It is obvious that dude wants out, so start other players there and let them get used to it, because Ronaldo will leave anyway so it makes no sense to get him too late.
Looking at the current situation, as far as I know, the transfer deadline for Premier league is over, which means Ronaldo will stay right? If not, they would have to fire him, and another team would get him as free agent at best, but as far as I know a "transfer" can't happen. In that case they need to sit down and make a final decision already otherwise it makes no sense.
