I think coach Erik ten Hag needs to rebuild starting from midfield, Cristiano's lack of contribution cannot be separated from the role of players in midfield, at least in the last two match I see Manchester United's midfield need to be more active.

Ending in the 6 position and without a ticket for Champions League is a big failure for Manchester United. It is reason forces Ronaldo trying to leave the club. If they ended in top 4 last season, they should have a better transfer in this summer and have a better preparation for this season.

The failure in last season is like a first domino for some bad things. They are shown as very bad results in first two matches.

Was very impressed to see Antonio Conte twerk his team formation ( 3-4-3) against Chelsea to accommodate Richarlison to combine with his front three Harry Kane, Son Heung Min and Dejan Kuluvsenski in a 4-2-1-1 or let's say 4-2-3-1 with Richarlison spearheading his attack and Harry Kane just behind him, it shows Tottenham have given Conte the rotation he craves for and also exciting to know that the four front men can play Together, and I like seeing Lucas moura more on the right wing back. Would like to see the new formation this weekend against wolves.

Liverpool seems to be missing a striker from the looks of it. I would have still preferred Firminho than the current situation. He would play like a shadow striker and help build up play up front from the midfield. He had a really good positioning sense that helped Mane and Salah rack up the goals the past few seasons. Even though he's a striker, he was selfless up front. Maybe that's what the coach demanded of him. I think this could turn into another draw, Manchester United vs Liverpool. It is on a tuesday night though, so long way to go for the match.
