Fulham surprised me today. This match is a clear proof that no team can be underestimated in the English Premier league. Liverpool showed that they are a big side but Fulham fought with them squarely. Fulham's attack, midfield and defence were all solid. But Liverpool was also a formidable force. The attacking duo of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Núñez would be a terror to any defence in the EPL. They both scored and also gave assists. Generally, the Liverpool team would get better as the season progresses.
Today game was really an unpredictable one as it ended I. 2-2draw. It was not easy because both teams didn't hold back after Liverpool conceding a goal in the first half and dominating the game. Jurgen Klopp wasn't happy with the results but he needed patient because usually the reds will still fall back to winning ways, everything was working fine for Liverpool until one of their key player, Thiago Alcantara posses an injury let me say a thigh injury in the game and exit the pitch which make the pressure to be massive on the Liverpool side. I think with last winning from Manchester City on FA Community Shield become capital for Liverpool get three points on first match against with Fulham, but can't expected when Aleksandar Mitrović success scoring goals trough heading and make Fulham lead 1-0 on 32th and 72th trough penalty kick minutes, but Darwin Nunez success made scored after creating goals on 64th minutes and Salah help Liverpool got one points from his goals on 80th minutes.

I'm also too optimistic but in reality it's not what I expected and Fulham are able to match Liverpool with a better attack even though the statistics are much different but that's Fulham can score goals early but in the end Liverpool are able to reply too, the start of the season is a share of points but I think it's the EPL which is hard to predict. The premier League is full of surprises, that is what keeps it exciting...all the teams big or small play to win regardless of who they meet, they show no respect, and if care is not taken by a big team, they can suddenly find themselves losing three points. Liverpool were lucky to have even gotten a point. Klopp is still trying to respect Firminho else i don't see any reason why he is starting as their striker when Nunez is clearly hungry to make his mark in every game. It may be too early to say, but i think Liverpool against Fulham did not look like a team that can win the premier League this season.
Liverpool opened the Premier League match with less than optimal results, Liverpool was only able to get one point, and even missed a goal. This is the English league full of surprises we can't predict a match just because the team they are facing is weaker this is probably one of the reasons why the Premier League is in great demand by football lovers. I think it will be an important lesson for Klopp to continue to field Darwin Nunes directly in the first minute because he is a striker who is hungry for goals.

Arsenal have started very well but I can't say the same thing for Liverpool I'm afraid. I know that Fulham came here by becoming the champions in the Championship. They have made nice signings as well. But I was still not seeing this enough to be able to steal points from Liverpool. But look at the situation now that they might have even beaten Liverpool home. Somehow Liverpool couldn't play like they did against Manchester City in the Community Shield and left the game by one point. Mitrovic was really impressive with 2 goals btw.
In the first game of the season, Arsenal left with three points.The corner kick organization in the first goal was very good, there was nothing the goalkeeper could do.With the ease of the first goal, Arsenal continued to dominate the game until the end of the match. The score towards the end of the match was 2-0 with Saka's goal, a good opening for Arsenal.Although Liverpool gave very good signals in the friendly matches, it was a bad start to the season that they started with a draw in their first match.
It was a great performance from arsenal to get their first 3 point in their first match for the season, as it stands now arsenal is leading in the premier league standings, I wish arsenal can continue with a good performance to lead. The Liverpool game ended with a draw which I expected Liverpool to win the game.

Fulham even got ahead two times in the game and Liverpool had to make do with a 2-2 draw at the end. After Liverpool found the equalizer I was pretty sure about them to get ahead quickly too. But after they conceded the second goal it was obvious that it wasn't just their day. It is a poor start of course but they would make up for it next time. By the way Nunez was impressive by scoring a goal not much after he entered the game. 
The outcome of the match didn't surprise me though. I was saying it yesterday and it looked as if I was not making sense. We should not forget that Fulham is the champions of championship league. They are not here to joke. Out of the 6 big clubs, only two maybe lucky to beat them this season and they are obviously not going to be relegated.
This season will be very much competitive, as almost all the clubs are prepared for this season.
