Yes Frenkie de Jong wants him to stay with Barcelona, but if Barcelona make the decision to sell him then inevitably he will have to leave Barcelona. Regarding Manchester United, he is not interested for several reasons, firstly maybe he wants to play in the Champions League, secondly maybe he sees that the situation at Manchester United is currently unstable.

I also heard that the Champions League was one of De Jong's reasons to stay in Barcelona and maybe he sees the current Barcelona squad has the potential to win
even though there is no guarantee Barcelona will win UCL, on the other hand Manchester United only promised salaries and European League and he really doesn't need it
Until now there has been no clarity regarding De Jong's transfer and Manchester United should have to prepare an alternative.

I think Newcastle have now submitted a second bid is in excess of £40million after a structured package of £35m was rejected last week which is still some way short of Leicester’s £60m asking price. But this shows how serious they are in bringing Maddison to St. James park. Eddie Howe is trying to improve the team’s creativity and Maddison can solve that creativity deficit. This fee might be the only thing that making this move not to happen because of how big Leicester value him. But if Leicester city don't sell him for that with 2 years left on his contract, they are doing crazy gamble. There's no way he's gonna renew and waste his career there, they should consider scouting good talents instead.

I was surprised too. but there is one reason that makes sense today. namely de jong is not interested in moving to Manchester united maybe because manchester united will not play in the champions league. but if later it turns out that he also refused an offer from chelsea then this speculation may be wrong. but i don't think de jong will refuse to go to chelsea because chelsea will play in the champions league.

It's very clear to me that Frenkie de Jong is not interested in joining Man United. It can be seen after Barcelona and Man United agreed on
a transfer fee for De Jong, but until now De Jong still wants to stay at Barcelona. I don't know if Erik ten Hag failed to convince De Jong to move,
or because Man United didn't play in the Champions League. Because we know the reason Ronaldo wanted to leave Man United was because

Who else is available out there? It's tough attracting top or world class strikers when they're already out of the Champions League. They are behind City and Liverpool but I think their current squad is still good enough to challenge for a top four finish against Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Yupp even a loyal player the likes cristiano been rumored going to leave manchester united because of these reasons ...

1. They are not in champions league , because players loving to have a great challenge in a greater competition like CL ... moreover they might receive a huge bonus everytime they win.
2. Manchester united lack of achievements and that makes players tend to doubting any play that ten haag currently had.

Yes, the friendly games ended with mixed results for Manchester United as they won some and lost some. Overall, I would say that they’ve improved a bit from the way they played last season. They played woefully last season and with now, looking at how they performed in the friendly games, it’s obvious that they’re getting better.
Liverpool being the first major threat would determine on the preparedness of Manchester United

He’s also almost going to play every match.

He is a young and fast football player. If Galatasaray manages to get him, Torreira will make a huge contribution to them. I didn't know Arsenal were sacrificing him. It's good that they will get an income from Torreira, but they will want to make the smartest transfer as they will spend this income on new transfers.

Tottenham current squad looks quite competitive and they can show good performances during the pre-season matches. So, I also think that Tottenham will be better this season, their current performance is very convincing. Although they can't win against As Roma, but the stats were quite good. They can win the ball possessions even if they can't make a shot on target. It means Tottenham have quality midfielders, but their strikers didn't play effectively. What they need to improve is their attacking line.
