I just don't think Kanté is 31 years old, I think Kanté is still 28. But indeed, at least Kanté deserves to get a new contract for at least the next three seasons. But if Chelsea don't want to take the risk because maybe to avoid injury, then we will get Kanté as a free agent at the end of the season. Kanté himself is a player who does not have many demands and therefore, so far his career has never been in trouble so it is not surprising that even though his contract will expire next season, Kanté still does not ask Chelsea to do something to him.

Based on Ngolo Kante's profile, he was born on March 29th, 1991 so he is 31 years old. I don't think Chelsea will let him go because of his age because he has been a great player who has done so well for Chelsea so letting him leave when his contract expires won't be a good decision to take if you ask me but I doubt if Chelsea will offer him a three years contract because looking at his performance last season,  Kante was not regular on the starting lineup for the blues due to serious of injuries so no team will take the risk of offering him such contract on his present age and injury condictions.
That's what I mean, I say Kanté still deserves a new contract but with various considerations maybe that is the reason Chelsea so far have not offered a new contract for Kanté. In fact, there are many great players out there when their contracts have one more season left, so they start asking the board to renew their contracts. Most of such cases, when the board does not offer a new contract to the player concerned until the end of the season for the player himself. So in most cases like that the player will become a free agent and that happens very often, but so far there have been no rumors about Kanté himself wanting to stay or leave and this is difficult to judge because Kanté is a player with a good heart.

Yes, you are right. Probably Chelsea's board of directors is waiting for his contract to expire or wants him to make his decision so they know what he wants. Kante knows that Chelsea will not let him leave maybe that's why they are keeping his next move away from the media and other rumor spreaders. PS, I think Ngolo Kante knows his worth and he believes that he has done so well for Chelsea so he won't beg the team even though age is no longer on his side he will be a major target to other clubs if Chelsea refused to renew his contract.  We will hear plenty of rumors about Kante before the end of the season if Chelsea didn't agree to his terms.

Tottenham have really done well in the transfer market, bringing in the likes of Richarlison, Bissouma, Ivan perrisic, Clement lenglets, Forster and Spence but one signing they have to make so they can have a perfect squad is bringing in a number ten, so they can switch to formation or let me say plan B,and the player must have a great passing ability because Antonio Conte talk about 3-4-1-2 last season.dont know why they didn't bring in Christian Eriksen but I believe that Conte will chose a better number ten.
I don't think Tottenham will be interested in Depay because they have a lot of other players who have made a big contribution in his position. As you said it's true Tottenham need a midfield player and Conte is planning to address that gap in this transfer window. Nicolo Zaniolo is a player Conte is looking for but Tottenham seem to have to compete with Juventus for Nicolo Zaniolo signature. As roma has given the value of Nicolo Zainolo release clause of £42m. we can see juventus and tottenham feud to get Zaniolo.

It will sound like a joke to people if I say that Arsenal will shock everybody by winning the premier league this season.I am not saying this because I am an Arsenal fan trying to speak good about my team, but I'm saying this from what I've seen, and from the rate of hunger in the Arsenal team, and those young players trying to win a silver wear by all means.Remember they humiliated Chelsea in preseason few days ago. With the players they've recruited so far this season, adding three quality signings in the person's of Gabriel Jesus,Olexandr Zinchenko, and Fabio Vierra,I think they are upto something, and the premier league is their aim.Lets just wait to see what happens this coming season.

Placed my vote already, as I still stand strong on my ground supporting and backing Tottenham Hotspur to claim the English Premier League this season. The season kick's off in few days ahead. Every club and every single player are responding and preparing over the transfer window recruiting player's and keeping fit with tour and pre-season matches all anticipating for the kick off.

My opinion hasn't changed any bit, the premier league is not all bout how well you start, but how far you can go.  ( Great ins and outings, but my favorites remains  Antonio Conte's Side ) Ohh I've missed the commentary, the opposing and home fans, the drama, the fights, stunning goals and brilliance of goalie's. Truthfully, these past weeks been way boring a bit without the premier league....

It is not realistic to assume that they (the players) will continue to do so even after the league has started. To me, friendly preseason games are somehow pointless since you can't evaluate a player entirely based on how they perform in exhibition games. When the league starts, a player's true potential is what he can provide to the squad; the games are much more intense and action-packed than they are now. As you noted, the Premier League is full with surprises. Let's wait and watch to see how each team does, particularly early in the season.
What you say is not wrong, but pre-season friendly matches are things that must also be considered important for every club even though the true potential of a player is not all mobilized by every player in a friendly match. Which however friendlies will still be important to see the benchmark of each club's strength before the season starts. And each club can immediately make the desired changes if there are still slight deficiencies in the squad.
Friendly matches (pre-season) are an opportunity for young players to show their talents to get the attention of the coach, whatever the results obtained from friendly matches will not affect the club's reputation, because coaches often play young players. Friendly matches are actually to measure the depth of the squad ahead of the new season, the coach will see the performance of the players who will be selected to enter the main squad.  Lots of young players who were promoted to the main squad thanks to performing brilliantly in pre-season matches.

I heard Tottenham Hotspur are very interested in signing maphis Depay, he is good player with lot of experience and skills but I don't really know if Tottenham need him, because they have good players in that positions he plays son, kulusevki, Richarlison and Lucas moura, for me what Tottenham needs is a central midfielder because I think richarlison and kuluveski is enough competition at the wings, and is a world cup year and depay won't like to seat on the bench and I believe Steven Bergwin must have advice him against going to Tottenham Hotspur.
Well, its a familiar rumor on the Spurs transfer news but I don't think the could he able to get the players signature even. Depay is prepared to play more seasons in the Barcelona Laliga side to enable him have a go at the international competitions and a chance towards winning trophies than to come and struggle with the EPL side Tottenham whom is pretty much having some rough seasons. Richarlison is a good signing on the Spurs side and if used properly, it could help attain good results with Harry Kane.

As much as Arsenal are bringing in new players for next season, I still don’t feel hopeful ahead of next season because they’ve failed to address the key areas which needed reinforcement from the end last season disappointments. The defensive midfield is the key area where Arsenal should focus on if they’re to compete in the coming season. Thomas Partey’s injury towards the end of last season cost them the top 4 spot and since he injury prone, Arsenal should sign a similar type of midfielder, a press resistant one.
Lucas Torreira is back into the team after a season long loan spell at Fiorentina, I believe he is the perfect backup for injury prone Thomas Partey in Arsenal squad, Mohammed Elneny and Lokonga is another option thus that area of Arsenal squad had been well addressed and reinforced, the club is good to go for the new season and with some new signings in almost all the department of the squad, Arsenal will definitely give top 4 spot a shot provided that their key players are injury-free in most of the season and hopefully may win some trophies apart from EPL trophy.

N'Golo Kanté have been one of the successful midfielder so far for the Chelsea. He has dominated the midfield of Chelsea over the years. Although, Kanté still have more opportunities in his career but he will still settle for Chelsea as he's one of their top player. The one time world cup winner is the highest paid in the club and it probably looks like he's running out of contract and his current contract ends June 2023. I doubt if he will leave the blues as a free agent. Therefore, I thinks Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel will work on his deal for further extension.

That's why I previously said "looking at the current situation", it concerns the overall readiness of the club itself. Of course there will be differences when playing in official competitions.
What I focus on here is how other teams work so that what happened in this pre-season doesn't happen. Once again the Premier League is a league full of surprises, and my greatest wish is to see another dark horse team do that.

Tuchel is right that Chelsea management isn't very serious to get targetted players in this transfer window. There are already some targetted players stolen by Barcelona, so Chelsea failed several times to sign the new players. It is a very serious problem, they won't get any player if they are not serious. Chelsea has a lack of quality CB and CF, they should sign a top center-back like Kounde and sign a top CF to improve their performance. It is true that their current performance is soo badly, they are not ready to begin EPL competition if no additional top players.

In general, this is a rather strange situation. Chelsea were originally said to have 200m for new transfers, but they end up losing the transfer battle to Barcelona, which is on the brink of bankruptcy and constantly asking players for pay cuts. Do Chelsea offer such worse conditions that the players prefer Barcelona? If I were a player, I would prefer to play in Chelsea and the strongest league in the world, the Premier League, than in crisis Barcelona.

I think you are wrong, there are a series of mechanisms that make pre-season important. as well as friendly matches, important for a football club.
many clubs have prepared their pre-season with training sessions and several friendly matches, especially ahead of the new season that will roll.

their main goal is not only for marketing purposes, but the pre-season match will be their physical foundation to carry out 40 full weeks of playing football, besides that the coach can try to implement new strategies or tactics, especially to cover the shortcomings of last season and friendly matches can be a benchmark coach to judge the players.

in fact there are still many things that I do not describe, I think you can understand the importance of pre-season and friendly matches.

You're right, one of the reasons for Arsenal's decline is also because their midfield hasn't worked out well these past few seasons. The midfield is the key to the game to be more balanced in defense and attack. If they lose that position, it's likely that they won't be able to talk much in every game.

Right now de jong future is still in a state of uncertainty due to the lack of understanding between barcelona and de jong, but I think the only way for de jong is to leave barcelona and accept the invitation of manchester or chelsea to playing in the premier league , focusing on the coach factor of course de jong might prefer to join manchester than chelsea at this time, I see if chelsea so far after Abramovich ownership ended it seemed that it no longer had the attraction for star players to join and it was proven after chelsea lost some of their target players due to being cornered by another team that even offers a lower salary than chelsea at this time.
De Jong is close to leaving Barcelona but I have not heard that an agreement has been reached between Barcelona/De Jong and Manchester United. Some issues have to be resolved before this transfer is completed but maybe in the end we should know that there is a possibility of a failed transfer between the two teams.

Manchester United seem to be urging Barcelona to let their players go to them this season and I heard that the Manchester United legend also suggested De Jong to sue Barcelona instead of suggesting his former team look for other quality players. I don't understand how to start because so far De Jong is still a Barcelona player.
