What about Newcastle in the transfer market? so far we haven't heard any big news there whereas previously many people predicted that Newcastle would make big changes in the team when Newcastle got a new owner with unlimited funds  Cheesy from the list of new players there are only 5 players who have been recruited this season and none of them are famous players while there are 9 players released, this is totally beyond our expectation or indeed unlimited funds are just rumors  Huh

Well, the wealthy new owners who purchased the club said they wouldn’t interfere with the management and runnings of the club and I think that’s what they’re trying to make it look that’s what going on. One would have expected that the club having really wealthy new owners would have made drastic changes in relation to acquiring new, well known players. But so far, they haven’t made any move in getting a well known player to bolster their squad. Maybe they’re just bidding their time slowly.

Arsenal played really good football there is no doubt about that but is this sustainable. I mean it looked like they were playing like a team that would be fighting for the title, and let's be honest with each other , they haven't been a club that tried to get the league title for many years now, I do not know when was the last time they were there but it looks like they haven't been there for a long long time and I feel like it would be a difficult thing.
I am not going to lie, Arsenal look really strong, it doesn't matter if it was just pre-season games, but they moved the ball really well in all the games they played, they controlled possession, and most importantly they scored goals. The monopoly in the EPL is between Liverpool and City, and i don't think any team is prepared/ready/strong enough to break it just yet, but Arsenal might just take themselves above United, Spurs and Chelsea to become the third team amongst the big six, it is very possible, it can happen.

Having said that, some weeks back, i thought Chelsea was going to be the only team that would come close to City and Liverpool when the season starts, i know the transfer window isn't shut yet, but i am far from impressed with their transfer business thus far, they have acquired two brilliant players, but they aren't enough, Tuchel said the same thing i have been thinking in my head in his press conference after the Arsenal loss, they need to buy more players, they can stand City and Liverpool with their current squad, and there is Arsenal who have done so well in this summer window, they are buzzing and i am pretty sure Arteta can't wait for two weeks so the season kicks-off, they might just finish third, we also have to look out for them in the cup competitions, an FA cup and Carabao triumph wouldn't be bad for Arsenal.

Impressive play from Arsenal many might say that it’s only the pre season game but if you understand that the both team field a good squad and The gunners came out victorious by 4:0 goal line. I think the preparation from Arsenal is on flick and with players like Gabriel Jesus and many others I believe we shouldn’t underrate them in the title run, they may just be in the run for the English premier league title.

At the end of the day, it is going to be something that will take a while before they could actually do something, but "that" game looks like they were amazing, let's hope that they could keep doing that whole season.

Arsenal are making a progress by their new signings. They have removed the problem of lacking a solid striker in the team with Gabriel Jesus. I really appreciate their Oleksandr Zinchenko transfer as well. He is an offensive back and he would make a huge contribution to the team. Arsenal must be able to fight for top 4 more seriously from now on. Tottenham are making the same progress too now and I really wonder if these two will fight for the Champions League against each other once again.
With the Gunner's pre-season matches there is no doubt they're well prepared for the season, they are having a good game in the pre season and the players are performing excellently. Arsenal did so well by bringing Gabriel Jesus and zinchenko to the team, this two players has contributed alot to the team pre-season sucess and no doubt with their pre season performances the Gunner's might be able to qualify for the champions league next season and also a big contenders for the EPL title.

Why not? apart from some clubs that do have potential for next season, there are still 2 clubs that are guaranteed to have a big 2 are Liverpool and City. They are the contenders for the title again this year.
Indeed, there are some clubs that are quite good if you look at last season and the transfer movement that was carried out such as Arsenal, Chelsea and even Tottenham. But they will only decorate and fight for the position of 3 down.

Because I don't see them better than others for new season. You can put Manchester City above everybody else and that's fair, but Liverpool may not perform same as previous seasons. That doesn't mean they are losing a lot of power, but after seeing new additions of other teams, I don't see them superior anymore. They lost Mane and got Nunez, which is still a question mark. If he can perform as much as Mane then no worries for Klopp. Liverpool just replaced an important player, but Manchester City added a missing piece (Haaland as a striker), Arsenal added a lot of players to starting lineup etc. We will see how it goes in first few weeks, but I don't see anything is guaranteed for any team.

Yeah good point. They were quite active in last transfer window after change of ownership but now they aren't showing their interest even. Maybe they are convinced with the current squad and don't want any further signings. Now I am not sure what their aim is right now in this season because they need some solid signings to be competitive this season.

I think the Newcastle coach is aiming to make last season's squad more stable. Newcastle's performance last season was quite good. Despite a poor performance at the beginning of the season, their performance was very consistent towards the end. And if the coach can experience these players, they will be able to provide better performances. I think Newcastle will once again spend money and bring in new players in the transfer window next winter.

newcastle has bought 5 players in this transfer window but all of them are not big names like haaland or lewand.  I'm sure the newcastle owner is working on a strategy that we can't predict. newcastle will find it difficult to compete with top Premier League clubs because their squad composition is mediocre imo.  what still remains a question mark for me is why the new owner of newcastle until now has not made a big transfer, is he short of money LOL.

Manchester city and Liverpool have proven beyond all doubt that they are the top team that will compete for the EPL title, perhaps other clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United will still be in pursuit. All the top  clubs have the perfect signings this summer especially strengthening their Frontlines and I hope they still have more time to prepare for the new challenges in the new season. These new players in their various clubs have different purposes and roles obliged to them and they need to put up an excellent performance.

Of the clubs mention above, Arsenal are the ones who have spent the most money in the transfer market this season, it is recorded that almost $150 million has been spent by arsenal to get Gabriel Jesus and several other players. Mikel Arteta looks more serious about improving his squad and reaching the top of the EPL table next season, win from chelsea some time ago gave hope to Arsenal fans that next season will be better.
Next season is going to be competition among top six not the usual top 4, clubs Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea will have to up their game else Tottenham, Arsenal and Man Utd with give those three top clubs a run of their money going by the quality signings made  especially by Arsenal and Tottenham, the gunners signed Gabriel Jesus,Fabio Vieira, Oleksandr Zinchenko while Tottenham signed Clement Lenglet, Richarlison, Perisic etc, it's not going to be the usual walkover, these two clubs if eventually pick form it will be absolutely difficult to defeat them, EPL will be more competitive among those clubs and their is the possibility of an upsets in some of the matches to be play against those top clubs.

Can you recall some seasons ago when Liverpool sold Luis Suarez to Barcelona for some big bucks ? It's not the same situation with Newcastle but they have rich owners ready to splash the cash. Liverpool brought in too many player's who didn't suit Liverpool any bit this was during the last days of Bedran Rogers at Liverpool. I think Newcastle are taking same strategy not trying to buy too much but players needed in the area's they really want.

So far, they have brought in Botman Sven from Lillie, Matt Targett from Aston Villa, Pope Nick from the relegated Burnley Club.
If you take good look at the recruited area's and looks at the area's they was poor last season, you'd see they brought in two good player's to strengthen those areas which are both the Goal keeper and the Defender, they conceded over 31+ goals last season. I hope to see them concede less this season. Take a good look once more, they have only brought in three by transfer, others all returned from them loaned clubs and team's.

Indeed I have to admit they have a better squad than before, especially towards the end of the season their performance continues to improve and get out of the red zone
But in the Premiere League they will not be able to compete in the top 10 meaning we can assume their target is to stay in the Premier.
If they are targeting UEFA tickets, of course there must be new players who can really be relied on.

I wouldn't write down Liverpool in top two automatically. Manchester City is OK in top two but I'd see bigger competition this season. Arsenal is gaining great as you can witness from their USA camp. They will be a bigger threat to everybody.
Arsenal also has a good fixture and we might see them on top after fifth week. If they carry their friendly performance to league games there is no reason for them to lose points in first couple of games.

Arsenal is really pulling its weight with its recent signings as with other clubs. One can see the preparedness every club is. This new season as well as the champions league would be a blast to watch as it would be exciting with every pass of the ball. It would surely be difficult to put Liverpool in the top 2 this time around with Arsenal and Manchester United have seemingly gotten better all of a sudden.
Manchester City may actually have a secured sweet spot at the top 2.

What is certain for the two places in one and two will be dominated by Manchester City and Liverpool, well the competition for the two places below it will probably be a long competition throughout the season. Because apart from Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal at least there are other teams that also have the potential to penetrate that position. I'm considering how Newcastle came back in the second half of last season, I don't have much of their transfer record but I'm sure those with rich holdings can have the ability to compete for higher ground next season.

1xBit.. recovered their reputation
Manchester City are building a really huge team for next season. Their squad was already solid of course but I mean that it is getting even better now. Erling Haaland and Kalvin Philips are already here and Cucurella is likely to join soon too. They are just trying to reach an agreement with Brighton for a sensible transfer fee. I guess that they wouldn't have a serious problem about that. Manchester City are preparing for another season with a championship but let's see. Maybe it is Liverpool's turn now who knows.
philips is one of the best midfielders in the premier league, even Manchester United expressly expressed their great interest in him but was rejected by him

with the joining of philips at Man City, the city's midfield will be very strong, philips will fill the void that has been seen so far (city midfield)

Manchester city game against Bayern Munich was one big game to watch. City won the Bavarians 1 goal to nil. All credits go to the new signing of Pep Guardiola, Erling Haaland who netted 12th minutes of the game. It is a good debut for the 22 year old and many more goals awaits him. It's just the beginning for his goal run up tally and city fans are counting on him to impressed them and the club. He is handed the number 9 jersey and Pep with his teammates trust him to deliver them in the Frontline. However, let's see what he will probably offer to the club next season.

I don't think that's the reason. So far De Jong feels comfortable at Barcelona. He can also appear regularly in barcelona, even Barca will play in the UCL. I think the problem is Barca's financial regulations and debt that makes Barca want to sell him. Actually at this time Man United has been in the hands of a different coach. With a different style, the players also respect him. So I'm a bit optimistic they are better than last season. But it doesn't matter,
Not really sure with Frankie de Jong move to Manchester United because his previous club right now Barcelona still not pay his bonuses almost 17 million euro. Have rumor transfer about Barcelona ask to Manchester United to pay with bonuses for Frankie de Jong but United have reject with this agreement rule. Financial problem still faced by Barcelona although they have spent much money for Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
But it doesn't matter, Ten Hag seems to have an alternative to buy Antony but Ajax charge a pretty high price. Because they have bought Martinez from Ajax too.
I think have different position between Antony and Frankie de Jong, exactly both player as forward and midfielder where become target from Erik Tan Hag to get alternative on midfielder and central forward after still gray about Cristiano Ronaldo keep stay with United or leaving club for next season.
