Nunez is an amazing striker and i was thinking he might not play at start of the league but the way he is scoring he must play and is a huge signing for Liverpool so far. Liverpool looks really good this year even with Sadio Mane leaving the club. They will be in top 3 of the league for sure
I understand that fans want nunez to immediately give visible results, so when nunez failed to score in liverpool's last 2 matches, fans immediately attacked nunez by saying he was a Liverpool failed purchase

we can't compare Sadio Mane and Nunez because the competition hasn't started yet but I'm also with you, who believes that Nunez will shine brightly in Liverpool and won't be a failed purchase

Chelsea are trying to get rid of some of their players while they are signing new players. It looks like Kepa and Werner are also in this unwanted players list. However their wage demands are hindrances for Chelsea now. Actually they won't have any decent goalkeeper alternative left if they send Kepa from the team. If they have another goalkeeper better than him in their mind then there is no problem. By the way Werner can be given another chance actually. His performance in the recent times hasn't been bad as far as I can remember.
Werner should be given another chance in my opinion, his performance is not so bad after all, maybe he is still adapting to the league and the tensity of the league. He has show some glimpse of improvement in recent games that he can actually be that player  the team wants and he should be given a little more time to improve and get back to his best form.

Manchester city are a very strong team in the league and the league champions, they have a balanced squad with a lot of talents. Their major priority next season will be to win the champions league and that is the reason they acquired Haaland this summer to boost their attack and guarantee more goals for them in the champions league. They were incredible last season, with more luck they might be able to become the champions. It gives me joy seeing English clubs dominate in Europe.
not only with most talented player I think Manchester City really need with mentality how to get champion league trophy next season. I think not easy with Manchester City on champion league, keep dominance on Primer League how ever Manchester City have many best player on squad list, but primer league could dominance but different with champion league where Manchester City never success to be champion, last great achievement success to final stage before loaing from Chelsea.

Nunez potential is not hiding at all,he has been phenomenal ever since his days at Benfica,he scored goals on regular basis.I love the way he plays and connects with  other players in the team.we all wait to see what he will be able to do in the premier league. He is a very good player,we know but premier league will test his abilities.

Of course pre-season games are different from official games. And maybe things are a little more difficult at first for Nunez. But I believe that the coach will work well with the player, for in some days he will be an incredible player.
To a large extent, the pre season doesn't determine that outcome of the league. Some teams perform poorly during their pre-season games and turn around to do much better later in the league. This is the case of Liverpool, they might not perform well in the pre season game like in the game against Manchester united but when the league starts it will be a different case, their performance level with be different and top class.

Arsenal is on its way to becoming a small Manchester City. They bought Oleksandr Zinchenko for £32 million. The contract was signed until 2026.
Arteta collects Pep's stars one by one. They have a very good squad this season. Now the goal should be the championship, not the top 4.

You cant be serious to compare Manchester City to Arsenal in term of the squad value, there are a huge gap in comparison though. Arsenal would be luck to get into top 4 at most because we are probably still going to watch another rivalry between Liverpool and City for the top spot, no doubt about this although I would love to add Manchester United onto it but I dont think its going to happen this season

Klopp was not careless in choosing Nunez to enter Liverpool, he first saw the track record and potential of Nunez and fortunately Nunez did not disappoint him and managed to score 4 goals in the pre-season match against Leipzig

Nunez deserves to be one of Liverpool's dangerous strikers, we'll see for sure there will be many surprises that he shows

Jack Harrison is rumoured to sign for Newcastle. I think that he is a capable winger and he is young as well. He can play as left winger and right winger both. Newcastle are trying to build a team that can play for upper places in the league standings. Harrison would be a nice choice. They still need to continue to make many transfers to get stronger. They are having difficulties in bringing world stars for now but this can happen as well in time. They need to be more successful this season.
The first offer of 18 million was considered an insult and the second offer of 25 million has now been rejected.
Leeds still charge 35 million for this player but indeed this is clearly a fairly easy price for Newcastle to pay if they are really interested in this player especially with their current status which is the club with the largest amount of wealth currently in the EPL.

If I'm not mistaken Leeds paid Man City $14 million to get him, right? Transaction happened last season
Jack Harrison has been part of Leed United's top scorer this season which has brought Harrison to the attention of clubs like Newcastle, £35 million  may seem an exaggeration but I feel it is well worth it considering Harrison is in peak performance. But after releasing Raphinha to Barcelona, it's hard to believe Jesse Marsch will let Harrison go to Newcastle. Leed United experienced a significant decline in the position of the premier league standings

This is an important point. He should be given time to adapt to the team completely. He is going to compete in a way more different and challenging league above all else. I'm happy for him about scoring goals already because these things would help him motivate himself for the new season in the Premier League as well. People should just be patient to see his real potential. His performance at his previous team was already amazing and I'm looking forward to seeing at least that level after some time.
Of course, even every player who has played in the Premier League will also have to adapt to his new team if they move. For example Sterling, Jesus and some other players have to be given time to adapt and that's normal.

Haaland and Nunez are two players who have good goal productivity, but I think both players have to work hard to shine in the Premier League because this competition is completely different from the competition they played last season. It will be very curious how these two players compete to be the best this season for their respective teams, I think Liverpool vs Manchester City will be even more exciting.

Well, this is a good thing for both because Lingard will definitely be an important part for Nottingham Forest and will increase attack power there.
On the other hand, Lingard will definitely get a big opportunity and this is something good for him to improve his long lost form.
Reportedly Lingard's contract there is only one season now.
It’s a bit surprising seeing that Jesse Lingard who has been linked with a switch to Newcastle United as well as a return to West Ham United, where he enjoyed a successful loan spell in the 2020-21 season has now moved to Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest have been busy so far in the transfer market ahead of their long-awaited Premier League return and convincing Lingard to play with them too would be a significant coup for team Manager Cooper. They have been spending on recruitments but there was need to add at least a player with premier league experience to add quality to the midfield.  In fairness, Lingard should be a significant upgrade on them.

After spending years at big clubs.. He is doing what he wants and knowing what is like to be appreacite at a club and have guaranteed playing time shld he be fit... If he played well and forrest stay in EPL his name will be famous again... Not a bad move
Of course they will go all out in their current promotion because they definitely don't want to go to the Championship division sooner after waiting so long to get to the highest caste.
Their targets look quite clear and their intentions are very good in my opinion because indeed with things like this, strengthening the club will obviously increase their confidence and hope to continue to be in the highest caste.

I don't understand why Tuchel puts Kepa and Warner on the transfer list, it doesn't make sense. Chelsea has 3 goalkeepers, but only Mendy and Kepa seem quality goalkeepers while Marcus Bettinelli isn't familiar enough and rarely played. Sure, if Kepa leaves the club, Chelsea has no good substitution in GK position if Mendy gets injured. Regarding Warner, he looks like the best CF that Chelsea has right now. If Werner moves to another team, Chelsea has no quality CF. Batshuayi performance isn't as expected, Chelsea cannot rely on him as a productive CF. It will be a big mistake to lose Warner in this transfer window, especially if Chelsea cannot sign a new top CF as the replacement.  Undecided

They have another player Armando Broja and Chelsea are not accepting any offers that is coming up for the player and reports are also that Tuchel wants him this season. Maybe Tuchel wants Chelsea to become strong at wings and give Broja or some other to find some chances. I don't think he is gonna sell Werner. Werner is the best he got in terms of experience. Tuchel has still lot of players who have played at striker position but then strategy also changes accordingly. I think he is gonna try something different in attack this season.

Chelsea right now are focused in defence line and Kounde is the next player who is likely to sign up for Chelsea. Right now defender is their priority but still there is lot of time left in transfer window to close so if they get their defence line fixed, I think they might think about signing striker then.

Liverpool's 5-0 win was also necessary, but the loss against United. Still, I don't think that makes up for much. The fans also saw United lost 4-0. In the end, they are and remain practice matches. You can get an indication of the level of players, but because you can change as much as you want, we are still in the experimental phase. Once the competition starts, you'll see a sharp and fierce Liverpool. And I also expect full stadiums again and let's hope Corona hasn't come back by then.

Liepzig got trashed by Liverpool both during pre-season and Champions League game's last year. That's not really related to all of what has happened yesterday. the game against Manchester United was an eye opener and Liverpool has responded not once ( firstly against Crystal Palace ) now thru won the German side. They are preparing good and keeping fit for the new session. Darwin Nunez places three pass the goalie.... That must have boosted those confidence of him really.

Also impressed with the movement and player forcing moves to Manchester City, Marc Curerella of Brighton Albion,he will be a good competition for Cancelo. Young and talented, and you know Pep Guardiola's love for Spanish players. Believe me that Curerella will get he's first appearance  ( National team ) once he plays for Manchester City.

Pre-season matches are just an opportunity for coaches to find the right strategy and squad composition before they compete in the League, the trial event can be a moment for young players to show their quality, while senior players will certainly not play desperately in that match because of the fear of possible injuries, just like Nunez who I don't think has brought out the best at this time and maybe adaptation can be one of the reasons if Nunez not yet perform better with Liverpool at this time, pre-season matches can't be a benchmark for a In our opinion, the team is getting better because it is not uncommon for a team that performs poorly in pre-season matches but  have perform very well when the league starts.

Manchester City perform well in Premier League in recent seasons, without Haaland. They need Haaland to win Champions League, not Premier League. They already dominate Premier League and Liverpool can not beat Manchester City in many seasons.

I think Haaland in theory is very good to play in Premier League and with the whole attacking system of Manchester City, Haaland will receive many good key passes from his mates. The rest part is finishing such passes and converting them to goals. I do not doubt that Haaland will fail to convert chances to goals.
City didn't have one big striker, they all scored a little bit of De Bruyne (15), Sterling (13), Mahrez (11), Foden (9). Guardiola has an attacking tactic, with such a strategy it is clear that the team can score many goals, but if the task has become to find a striker (Haaland), then Guardiola sees this as a necessity, and as a result of an increase in the implementation of scoring chances. City players will create a large number of scoring chances for Haaland, there is no doubt about this, the most important thing is to skillfully implement them.

Yes, I also thought that prediction was funny. The most expensive club in the world will perform well next season - who would have thought  Grin I think Haaland will break goalscoring records in at least the Premier League, he is a very effective striker and City's midfield will provide him with many chances. Well, it's pretty fair - in the national team he is deprived of such opportunities, but at the club level he will have a chance to show his maximum.

City could have lost last season - do you remember what the situation was with the score 0-2 for it? Liverpool had real chances, but everything turned out the way it did. So in order to maintain an advantage, City must continue to improve and the purchase of Haaland is valuable in itself without the Champions League. By the way, the results are very random there, so no player or group of players can guarantee the UCL title.
