Let's face the fact, his got skill, speed and some shot power to support. Last season was a very hard time for him, with the on going war in his nation with Russia and the distress it would put him in, his sure not to be in his best but, his by far one of the best talents in Manchester City. Perhaps this is some deal to stimulate Arsenal to release Saka for them.
Let's not forget, R. Sterling and G. Jesus have left the team on transfer so, the options isn't as before and this could mean trouble for the bench.

Lisandro Martinez can equally serve as a defensive midfielder until Manchester United gets a proper Defensive Midfielder. A good defender with pace can serve as a defensive midfielder, he just have to be a good passer of the ball and tracking lost balls.
How long will Manchester United wait until they finalized a deal with Frank De Jong ? I'd so much be happy if they can introduce Ruben Neves of Wolverhampton.

Yes. The latest news is that Frenkie De Jong has joined the Barcelona squad for the tour. De Jong still wants to stay at Barca even though the club has agreed to a fee of 75 million + 10 million in addition as said by Fabrizio Romano.

For me, Manchester United already have Donny van de Beek, Bruno Fernades, Freed and most recently Cristian Eriksen. All of the players mentioned above have the same position as De Jong and their roles can also be like De Jong.
So, it is better if the club nicknamed the red devils turns attention to other players who are much cheaper but the process is not laborious.

But who deserves Manchester United to go after it? Because I see they are still a little less in that position. For other positions, I think they are ready to enter the competition next season, especially if Cristiano Ronaldo can stay with them. For the back position they are better than before with the addition of their new players.

Kalidou Koulibaly is a very strong defender and he is an experienced player even though he is 31 years old but in terms of quality he is still very good and strong.
now Chelsea seems to have needed what they wanted, in this transfer market Chelsea are eyeing a few defenders but now what they have got is Koulibaly, and that is better in my opinion than De Ligt who was only released by Juventus for a very high price.

That's Such a good deal and kudos to Chelsea for doing the needful in their ability to making the team match the strength of rival clubs like Manchester City , Liverpool etc , I love the drastic move made by Chelsea FC to bring in such a good player like Kalidou Koulibalyto play in the place of Rudiger.

It is a good point also. Manchester City don't have any reliable substitute centre-forward now. There are Julian Alvarez and Nahuel Bustos who are returnees from their loan spells. However I don't think that Manchester City are thinking of any of them as substitutes now. Manchester City played without a striker too last season when Gabriel Jesus wasn't available to play. Maybe they are just thinking of the same plan for next season also. They had better be lucky about Haaland's not getting injured for a long time.

Frankie De Jong doesn't want to play Europa league football.
They have already moved to USA for the tour, Barcelona does not want to increase his wages.
