I feel Kounde wasn't Tuchel choice instead it was that of the previous administration as since the departure of Marina & petr cech the whole talk about signing him die down. Instead other defenders talks came into the picture nevertheless, Chelsea would be active in the market to get themselves a better replace for the central defends.

It's possible Chelsea could sign Kounde since they didn't lack of financial like Barcelona, I think it's either Kounde or De Ligt that Chelsea will sign for their Back players. There's also a rumor that Chelsea is going to sign Nathan Ake to comeback to their club from Manchester City, but I don't sure Ake will agree since Manchester City is better than Chelsea.

Chelsea have losing two defender Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen but until several week losing their defender still not find with new defender replace position leaving by Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rüdiger. I think try to get Nathan Ake from Manchester City is not really good thing depending this player not get regular position with Manchester City and Chelsea will spent much money for Nathan Ake. Except with De Ligt from Juventus because he is potential defender but difficulty to buy him because Juventus have losing Giorgio Chiellini not extended contract and will going on to Los Angeles FC.

Ronaldo would probably be better off staying at United. that's my thought. Ronaldo's ambition is to want to defend a club that competes in the Champions League. and United is not in for this season.
