I believe, Chelsea really need a talented midfielder and defender because they are lacking in the areas of defense and midfield which their coach will do everything possible to get a good midfielder and defender that will help the team to achieve premier league title next season.

De Jong's role for Barcelona is still there but I think his development has slowed down a bit which makes it difficult especially if Barcelona are looking for midfielders and strikers again obviously this is a problem for De Jong too.
For United it looks like they still need a midfielder and De Jong could be a good option for that but with the release of the clause that is almost £100 million it is clear that United will rethink this.

Denzel Dumfries is mainly played on right midfielder, even he can played on right back, but he almostly played on right midfielder. I don't think Chelsea want to buy Dumfries is a good move because they already have Reece James who're excellent on the right midfielder. I don't really know what's the purpose of Chelsea now, perhaps they want to try their strategy even though they will need face trial and error.

I agree with Chelsea move to buy center forward player e.g. Richarlison, it's more make sense if Chelsea looking for a new goal keeper since Mendy isn't really good.

De Jong is more relevant in clubs like Ajax and Barcelona. He is not relevant for Premier League which is keen on direct clashes between players. However, I don't base on this theory and say that De Jong can not play well in Premier League. Because we see David Silva, Bernado Silva, etc. they are all not too strong physically but they play very well there. De Jong can do it too but club signs him will take risk that he can adapt to Premier League.

At least Manchester United will have Ten Hag who worked with De Jong and lifted they player career to a higher level when De Jong was young in Ajax. Cristiano is a good captain, a veteran who has a strategic vision and knows very well how to lead his team, but I see that today's armband is more of a symbol, you don't have to wear a piece of cloth on your arm to be the " leader" of a team, there are a lot of players on the field who lead without an armband, and that's really cool to see.
So I don't see that as a problem, Ronaldo will always continue to impress, whether it's his goals or his leadership on the field... with or without an armband.

I think like that, In the previous session, Ronaldo seems like a beyond captain besides harry, I have several times seen him try to motivate all players and try to change the situation when missing a goal. But, I'm not sure about this, I think when we are talking about a leader, we must think about regeneration, I know Ronaldo is good, but he will retire soon, so MU must have a leader, not a veteran. So, I actually do not agree if Ronaldo comes to captain, I will agree if he comes to a field advisor.

Talking of Rashford, he was one of the best youngest player in his prime, he was a spectacular player in his early phase in the team. Rashford was compare to the likes of mbappe and other famous players he was a great player in his first season in the team, he shows alot of good qualities that's why he was giving the number 10. But recently Rashford performance dropped unexpectedly I never imagined this from a player like Rashford, he was already above all his peers that started together with him. Recently I don't know what's going on I suggest the team should give him sometime under the new management of Erik ten Haag let's see if he might make a difference.

I do agree that they do not need any attacking players at all, they have enough and with that in mind Rasford will probably get some minutes. Teams playing in Premier league end up playing too many games, both in league, then cup games, then champions league (in united case not so much) and so forth which ends up being 50+ games a year.

So, one player could literally play 30 games and then another for the same position could play 20 games all season, hence why most teams that are rich, end up getting 2 players for the same position. All in all, I am guessing that the best thing to do for United would be focusing on defense and midfield for now.

Frenkie de Jong transfer seems like it is getting more and more difficult for Manchester United day by day. Barcelona don't want to lose one of their most crucial players easily and they want a really huge transfer fee for letting him go. Manchester United must have this much money but the question is whether they are willing to pay this much. Because I think they need to consolidate some other positions too and it might be harder for them to do so if they spend €100m only for de Jong.
