Chelsea have big one problem they are facing currently, which is their defense line. Their defense, definitely it's going to concede much goals next season if the management fails to sign new quality defenders this summer. Kounde might be a good target for Tuchel only if he beats other teams to sign the tough guy. I suggest the blues should make him their top priority and also go for other top defenders that will eventually replace Christensen who is also leaving the team this summer.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.

Ho early it is very hard to make into Guardiola team. He himself checks if a player can play according to him. Take Grealish for example who hasn't seen much of playing time given his calibre. Haaland will also be treated same is what I feel but he can change that if he meets Guardiola demands.

Thank you very much mate. I have imagined how Haaland is going to fit into Guardiola's team. I sincerely doubt if he will fit easily. If eventually he fits easily, it will surely affect the performance of other players. Guardiola is not a coach that depends on standing number 9 to get his goals. He is not used to it. And frankly saying, the likes of Foden would not create the needed chances for Haaland.
Assuming Guardiola is a man that believes in number 9 player, the presence of Grealish, Marehz and Haaland would have given him a deadly attack
Let us watch how he will handle the situation.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how Guardiola will use Haaland. Manchester City already has a lot of talented players. Raheem Sterling, Jesus, Jack Grealish and Riyad Mehrez are all talented players. Haaland played for Dortmund on Central forward position, so did Guardiola take Haaland as a substitute for Jesus? Guardiola is an experienced coach, let's see if he can make good use of Haaland. Manchester City will be unstoppable next season if Haaland is able to play well.
Haaland will be very likely to play in his position in the 4-3-3 scheme. He is a centre-forward and that is the ideal position for him. While so far the CF position has only belonged to Jesus but for next season, Guardiola already has good options to play. It will be interesting to see how Haaland adapts at Manchester City, we will see in pre-season match.

Haaland is a young player I'm sure he can adapt quickly and the Premier League is a challenge for the world's top players they will be more recognized if they manage to make some good records such as top score and others.
That's right, from any angle, Haaland is a pretty good young player at the moment, you could even say he is the most prominent player after Mbappe.
The EPL is the league with the best level of competition at the moment and it is clear that this will be one of the challenges for Haaland.
he has to adjust the EPL fast play for now because many people fail to adjust this and if he also fails it will be hard for him to shine

I don't know how Manhester City will use Erling Haaland. If they use the classic number 9, they can support Erling Haaland with Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling on the wing forwards. I don't know how useful this will be... I wish Gabriel Jesus had stayed in the team. I think Gabriel Jesus could have served as a good striker with Erling Haaland serving as center forward. The two of them could have built a very good game system. Everything is uncertain right now. I still continue to support Manhester City because of Pep Guardiola. I think they are the clear favorites of the new season again.

I think Pep Guardiola as manager interested with formation 4-3-3 and prefer with Haaland as central forward, have chance with left and right winger change by Sterling, Jack Grealish, Mahrez and Gabriel Jesus. I have see Haaland prefer as regular player amd will change on right and left winger because Pep Guardiola have several option there. Manchester City I think as favorite team will lead Primer League next season amd have chance make new histroy to get trophy again.

I don't think Guardiola will have 4 strikers in the forward. Guardiola has a talented coach. But if he keeps 3 players in the defense then City's defense will be a bit weak. And it will be difficult for City to win against a strong opponent. Winning is not always possible just by playing attacking. It is very difficult to win against a tactical team like Real Madrid by playing attacking tactics. And so it seems foolish to have 4 players in the forward and 3 players in the defense.

I think Haaland will struggle at the beginning as a striker and have problems. Above all I wouldn't have high expectations of him in his first season because the Premiere League isn't the German Bundesliga. But I'm very excited about his performance and he has the advantage of having one of the best coaches at his side, let‘s see!
Many people will be looking forward to how Haaland can adapt to the competition as well as the strategy in his new team. As a fan I am certainly optimistic that Haaland will be a scary sticker at Manchester City after he proved that with Dortmund. It might be difficult at first because he has to be quite familiar and have a good relationship with his team-mates on and off the pitch, but for a striker I think it will be easy because he is the main target of his team-mates to score goals.

Maybe it would be different if Haaland wasn't a sticker, it's like left or right wing because I think the difficulty of adapting would be very different. Haaland is not the type of player who can be relied on to dribble past several opposing players, but he is a striker whose job it is to scored into the opponent's goal.

This will be a proving ground for Erling Haaland, in the Bundesliga he has transformed into a very good player. But he still has to adapt in this Premier League, will he quickly do that or vice versa, or even fail. I hope he can quickly get into this game in the Premier League. But I'm sure he will be able to do it.

Erik ten Hag really seems like he is renovating the team now. There are many players who are close to be sent away from the team. I think that he is doing the right thing by especially sending not very useful players from the team. Manchester United deserve to have a much more solid squad than now. Their starting eleven is still very good of course but it isn't quite enough I reckon. Because they have some weaknesses in especially their defense. If they find a solution for this then we would see a much better team next season.

Erik ten Hag is trying to do what the other coaches did not and that is lifting the mentality of the Manchester United players. To be honest Manchester United players are down bad right now. And it is obviously not going to be fixed unless there are some big changes in the team and he is trying to do exactly that. Obviously, I don't know if that is going to work or not but this seems to be a good step forward for Manchester United.

Manchester United have almost 10 players exiting the club. Erik Han Tag should retain some lads who are on loan, the rest should be let go. Most of these players have ego and they can no longer play for Manchester United. Erik Han Tag needs players who have the desire to play for the club, I sense he will want to bring his Ajax players that he understands. I think those players will be happy to wear Manchester jersey.
Exactly,  some players in Manchester United are not supposed to be in the club for the next season . Manchester United players have ego indeed, the team needs players who are ready to always deliver good performance.  Manchester United needs to do what will make them to be in good position next season.
The right move is releasing players who have high selfishness, even though they have good skills but still such an attitude will be detrimental to the team. It's better to sign a player who doesn't really have a name but has a vision of playing as a team. Because after all football is a team game, if someone wins an individual award there is a bonus. Precisely with a good team play and he won the individual title that is an advantage that should be appreciated.

On May 30th, the deal was officially completed with Chelsea sold to Bowley, who owns several sports teams in the US. The deal amounted to 4.5 billion pounds. The new owner appears to be a seasoned sports businessman and the mayhem at Chelsea is over, he is said to be planning to spend 200m on transfers.
I have to read it in a newspaper, this seems incredible ! 4.5 billion of pounds for a sports team seems something of too big. Anyway, hope that this can be a good start for the new Chelsea's management, because I'm a great fan of it.  Grin Grin

It looks like I was a little inaccurate - 4.5 billion euros, that is, 4.25 billion pounds. In my opinion, this is an adequate amount (and this buyer understands this for sure, since he is not a sheikh, but an ordinary businessman). It looks like Chelsea have pulled out a lucky ticket and the change of ownership will not lead to a decrease in ambition and funding.

I only know of three clubs that were promoted to the EPL 2022/2023 :
1. Fulham
2. Bournemouth
3. Nottingham Forest

Fulham seem to have only needed one season to return to the EPL. Of course, hopefully they will be able to survive and compete with other EPL teams.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth took two seasons to return to the EPL. While Nottingham Forest they played in the EPL around 1998/1999. It took them a long time to return to the EPL.  These three teams will replace Norwich, Watford and Burnley.

To be honest I thought and asked about Nottingham Forest on one occasion before, the question came when I looked at the history in the Champions League about teams that have won the Champions League title in the past. We will find Nottingham there at that time still called the European Cup not the Champions League, but at least with that history we come to know that Nottingham was a great team in the past but ended up being relegated and it took a long time to return to the EPL. Therefore, Nottingham can be said to be a traditional team which actually I really look forward to their return, until finally Nottingham managed to qualify as a promotion team through the play offs and that was great and I hope Nottingham can stay in the EPL.

Only Matic, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, L. Lingard and Cavani officially leaving at the moment.

Just because he was their former coach doesn't give him the authority to bring the players he want into his new team. They'll have to make an official approach that is how it is done. I believe he is interested in Timber, but Timber want to compete in the Champions League next season. They are also interested in De jong from Barcelona, but he wants to play in the Champions League. So it's difficult to find good players right now because they're in the Europa League, all the best players want to play in the Champions League. So that is the current issue with the rebuild. However, I believe ETH will be an excellent coach.

Yeah those are the players who are leaving the club officially. In above to that, United are open to offers for Eric Bailly and Wan-Bissaka. Currently, United are interested in three players and right now they are very much active in getting two targets which is Timber and de Jong. Not sure what's goin around with Timber but United have submitted a bid of 85m Euro for de Jong but de Jong wants to play at Barca. United are hoping for Barca to sell de Jong as they are not in better financial condition. Apart from these two, they are also interested in Benfica's star striker Darwin Nunez but they are offering fee below the price tag Benfica has set to allow Nunez to join United.

So far, United doesn't seems to be making progress in all these transfers but possibly thing might change as there is lot of time before window closes.

I also think like you. All the Man City players in that position belong to the good category, their lifespan is also still very good to compete for a long time.  Only Mahrez is 31 years old. It could be that Halaand came to be an alternative player and is ready to replace Mahrez if he is not going to be renewed contract again. With a stock of players like today, Haaland can play regularly, not just sit on the bench. With such a young age, Pep seems to be planning Haaland as a long-term plan. Let's take a look at next season, it seems that it is still quite a while that the league will start.
