It wasn't the best season for Liverpool I'm afraid. They still won two tournaments like the FA Cup and the EFL Cup though but winning the Premier League and the Champions League titles was much more important after this high effort. They missed the chance to become the champions in this league by a small gap. The Champions League was their only hope left but they lost the final game to Real Madrid too. It was a really devastating ending for Liverpool. They still had a solid effort generally this season but they need to turn this effort into titles too.
what is the best season.
Even though they didn't get the Champions League and EPL this season, they are still playing very well.
The 2 trophies there of course are still very good even though it's only in the domestic league there, of course it's still better when compared to other EPL teams. Even Man. City can only win 1 title this season

It’s too bad that an English team could not win the UEFA champions league. In as much as I put my confidence on Liverpool, I believe that Real Madrid had more zeal to win this one, it was an amazing exciting performance from Real Madrid And especially having a good and talented coach,! Believe the fan has the ability to bring unity amongst the players and the team:

There are too many people talking about Klopp as a "bad manager" nowadays because of this situation which is a sad thing IMO. I mean he didn't "win" much with the team, he won one league title during pandemic and one UCL title, which are awesome stuff and before him Liverpool wasn't going that great, but unfortunately he took the team to such a high level that, he lost like 2 titles on finals at UCL if I am not wrong and he won the league just once right?

All of this caused him to look like he is bad. Only because he took to the team from a "not good" place to missing out so many things. Without him they wouldn't even be in the UCL finals but since they were and they lost, some people started to talk about how he is not good enough, good but not enough.

Everton's problem still persists even though they managed not to relegate from the league. Therefore I wonder what Frank Lampard will do about this to solve it. They have a great squad right now which is full of capable and talented players. We shouldn't be seeing Everton this much desperate next time. They deserve the upper positions and it would be lovely to see them there next season. Lampard gave a promise to the fans not to relegate and kept his word. However they will want to see the same promise from him to have a much better season next time too.

At least Lampard has kept his promise not to be degraded. Furthermore, Lampard can focus more on the preparation of the team for next season
So far I haven't heard their plans to reshuffle the team including buying and selling players we also don't know how their financial condition because sometimes this problem can hamper their plans.

Actually I believe Everton don't need to make many transfers now. Because their current starting eleven is already very decent. They have really talented players available in their starting eleven now. Because of this, we can't say that their main problem is related to the quality of their squad I think. Lampard did a good job with the team after he came and the expectations are going to be higher from him next time. If he have his players ready mentally for next season in time, I hope to see them in top 10.

By the way, in the EPL I still feel Liverpool are much better than City, yes even though they are 2 points behind in the EPL. But in other leagues, for example UCL, Liverpool are better than City.

You can't be said to be the better team if you didn't win, Pep has single handedly given Manchester city 4 premier League titles in the last five seasons and you say the Liverpool side with just 1 title in the last 30+ years is better?. When it come to European competitive, Liverpool are the power house but when it comes to the league, Liverpool are no were close to Manchester city. I can even pick other cluns like Chelsea (when they're having a good season without injuries) to win the league instead of Liverpool.

Liverpool had the experience to win as they have previously won the title with almost same players but they weren't focused on playing the game instead they were after revenge and that back fired. Assuming they concentrated and buried their chances in the first half then the story would had been different.

I mean for this season with some of their achievements based on teams and individuals as a team Liverpool managed to reach the final in several competitions
In the local league Liverpool finished in the 2nd place and Liverpool players take all the best places in the Premier top score, top assist also included the most consistent team. In my personal opinion, overall Liverpool is better but without a title.

Newcastle have no problem when it comes to money now. They are capable of signing any player financially. But on the other hand, it isn't going to be easy for them to convince big players to come here. Big players would be eager to play in the Premier League actually but I'm not sure about Newcastle. Newcastle can still be like Manchester City in the future but they will need time to do so. Top players are already playing for very strong teams now and it wouldn't be comfortable for Newcastle to sign them one by one.

When I saw in the news that Newcastle United’s non-playing staff have received their first pay rise in several years, I knew the club is in to regain its status as one of the giants in the EPL. I think they will be splashing money to acquire services of players in seasons to come, the only problem is that most top players will be reluctant and unwilling to join them unless they get a world class and renowned manager that will make them believe in the club's project.
Currently Newcastle are reportedly going to spend more money to bring in players including Darwin Nunez from Benfica with 100 million euros (in local articles) that is indeed a large number but indeed Newcastle are now in financial stability after the crown of the Arab kings took over the club.
I think Eddie Howe is also a very good coach they were able to win a few times before if some players were brought in of course Eddie Howe would be very happy with his new striker.
Because they have a long time before next season, of course, Newcastle will maximize their finances in order to take the players they have wanted for a long time to build the perfect squad. I will not doubt the finances of this one club, so if take Darwin Nunez will not spend 1% of the wealth of the Arab king.

If there is another list of players, maybe Newcastle should give us more players above Darwin Nunez's price.

Yes somehow say it when Liverpool have chance to get 3 titles at once sadly only 1 title so far, I'm not saying it's a bad season for Liverpool but rather an unlucky season
Actually there is another match next month against Manchester city but I don't think it's a prestigious title not even expected at all, I think this season is the end of Liverpool's glory with the current squad, unless they have a new squad in the next generation.
Of course Liverpool are not bad they are good. But the today the succes of the team is not only trophies and champions. Nowadays football is a business, so I think their management is successful in providing income and profits for the club. Regarding the next season everything is still very difficult to predict. But right now the average liverpool player is at 28 years old, I think they are still strong enough for the next season. Klop only needs to add a few reserve players who have good qualities for next season's preparations. I am sure they will continue to improve the club.

It will be different if Liverpool get a new player, I mean with the current squad and compared with main competitors like Manchester City who already got haaland
Can you imagine how sharp and scary the front lines of Manchester City? they are like the perfect team Meanwhile the most appropriate competitors are Liverpool but as I said without  new players Liverpool will remain under Man City.

Liverpool have struggled with all their might to be the best in the Premier League and Champions League, but luck is not on Liverpool's side. The narrow point difference with Manchester City and losing in the final to Real Madrid was very painful for Liverpool, the failure was a reality that Liverpool has to accept. They have to try again next season, Klopp has to give a new surprise to make up for their failure to get the Premier League and Champions League trophies.
Yes, Liverpool still have a chance to improve everything next season. This season was not bad for them even though there were actually two titles missing in their hands [Premier League & Champions League], but Liverpool still won 2 more titles and still more than any other team in the Premier League. Failing is an unavoidable part of a competition, it is a natural thing for all teams even though sometimes they become favourite. Well I just hope Liverpool are able to reach the final again next season and hope they manage to win it.

I'm not surprised to see Liverpool lose. Some time before the UCL final, Liverpool were faced with 3 competitions that were close to each other, not easy, but Liverpool went through it one by one. Out of 3 competitions, Liverpool have win the FA Cup. By the way, in the EPL I still feel Liverpool are much better than City, yes even though they are 2 points behind in the EPL. Both Liverpool and City are big teams with good players and great coaches. It is hard to tell which one is better whether in EPL or UCL.
In EPL, although City won it but 1 point difference and a couple of goals more won't make City way better for sure. In UCL, although Liverpool played the final game, it failed to score while City was eliminated previously by the same team that beat Liverpool which is Real Madrid which made a great comeback and City scored in both legs. I find any comparison between them in social media or here, based on emotions rather than anything else Wink

It wasn't the best season for Liverpool I'm afraid. It was a really devastating ending for Liverpool. They still had a solid effort generally this season but they need to turn this effort into titles too.
They didn't waste an opportunity, it's just that their competitors were much better. Manchester City are much more consistent than them, Real Madrid as well, they are far more effective by not playing too much pressing, but appear more able to take advantage of the smallest gaps as possible. Liverpool must be better again to try again next season.

I'm happy about another thing that we are going to be able to watch Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Manchester United at least for one more year. I was seeing it as guaranteed that he would leave the team after this very poor season they had. Ronaldo by himself was incredibly good in fact but the real problem was related to the team as a whole. Maybe Ronaldo changed his mind and decided to stay because of having a manager like Erik ten Hag next season. He must be believing in him now or maybe he just wants to achieve a big success with Manchester United as well.
I observed one thing about Manchester United. Which is, the team lack cooperation. And I think is among the reasons why they couldn't make it to the top four.  Their previous coach Rangnick were unable to create a good cooperation within the players.
I also literally thought Ronaldo will depart from the club. Good news that he decided to stay. He indeed exhibited a great performance last season in the team. Hopefully, Erik ten Hag should be able to put United back on track, and probably win trophies.

Even though klopp was only able to give Liverpool 2 trophies this season but that didn't reduce my respect for him for continuing to give the best to Liverpool so far, Liverpool failure to win the league and champions league trophies was quite painful because they only narrowly lost to Manchester City and madrid, but regardless that thing we have seen if liverpool really showed their best performance all season although maybe luck was not on their side this season.
