The Bournemouth game against Arsenal have just entered the last 15 minutes of normal time with the home team leading by a line goal courtesy of Ryan Christie's goal in the 70th minute. I don't think Arsenal at this point have any chance of getting back in to the game considering the fact that they're currently a man down. If Arsenal goes on to lose this game, I think it'll affect their season since the next three league games will be against strong sides like Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea. William Saliba will as well miss these three matches because of the suspension that comes with the red card he received today
Red card?, Well it's part of football. I watched the game to some extent, and I can say that Bournemouth played well to win the game. I believe after that red card, arsenal still had a chance because they where playing well. The sudden change of an attacker for a defender was what I felt decreased their momentum. Not really sure of what happened today, but it seems they are not just the usual arsenal. They literally misplaced lots of passes today, which proves that something was wrong.
As for Saliba, this happens to be his first red card for the gunners if I'm not mistaken. But I guess timber can feel in that slot for the next 2 epl games, which means he is going to miss both Liverpool and Newcastle game. Ideally, it ought to be 3 epl games, but since EFL cups are always counted as well, it means he is going to miss just two epl games. The team should better go back to their drawing board, and make plans for the next UCl game.
