Let's be honest, we could be joking about how Spurs never won anything, and that's a funny thing to mock them for, but they have also never been a terrible team neither, they have been a good decent size team for over ten years, and when all of their players change, they still stay a good team and their consistency is amazing. That's how you become a good team. They knew they were good enough to beat West Ham, the team that is 14th in the league right now, and West Ham was frustrated because of this, they keep failing.

Spurs knew, even though they conceded one goal, they are still much better than West Ham could ever be, and because of this we have seen them play calmly and score four goals because they trusted their talent on this game. When you are this good, you should be able to trust your talent and your teams overall talent over the other team and lay calm and do not lose your strategy and keep trying, the result will come and you will win.
Tottenham conceded one goal earlier in the first half and then they could compensate it with Dejan's kick goals that were hard enough so that the drawing score for the first round, but in the second half I could not expect that Spurs could dominate the match with quite impressive, they made it The greater opportunity and the West Ham defense became not so strong in the second half, or maybe because some players already felt tired and lost concentration that made spur can see more gaps to get more goals.

I didn't think Arsenal would suffer such a defeat. After the red card, the team didn't play football at the level they should have. Their opponents also took advantage of their opportunities and after conceding 2 goals in 10 minutes, the match was over for them.

The next match is the Champions League match, there can't be a more important match. They need to get over the effect of today's defeat and focus on the next match, otherwise things will be difficult

Arsenal will win only if they have a strong mentality. They're down to 10 players on the pitch. But, their better quality should offset that. They must do a bad game, good result. Their opponent, bournemouth does solid low block. It makes them so struggle to break through opponent's defense.

This my first time to see a blatant red card from Saliba. He did a very poor decision. It'd better if his team conceding a goal but having full players on the pitch than being down to 10 for a whole game. And the bad thing is that he won't able to play in away game against Liverpool.

The player who should have been responsible for the red card was Leandro Trossard. If only Trossard hadn't made that sloppy pass, then Saliba wouldn't had to make that bad decision, so they wouldn't have to get a red card and maybe they could have won this match.

I also agree with you, it would be better for them to concede 1 goal than to play with 10 men. Anyway, if Evanilson hadn't been taken down, it's not certain he would have scored a goal because there is still David Raya in the goalpost.
I did mentioned this in another thread, and I am still of the same opinion that Arsenal lost their match against Bournemouth due to a weakness of sprit and loss of morale which is as a result of Saliba getting a red card and being sent off the field - if your opinion is based on this same context, then you are right, conceding a goal would have been better for them than losing a man in the match.

Because I believe Arsenal to be a very capable team, if only they maintained the same level of spirit and morale in the game even after losing Saliba, they still would have beat Bournemouth regardless that they (Arsenal) are 10 playing against 11 opponents.

I don’t know what Van de Ven said to Mohammed Kudus to make him react that way. Kudus just returned from a very tough international break, his national team Black Stars where he holds the responsibility of team Captain may not qualify for the AFCON tournament. I believe thats’s where Kudus frustration and rage is coming from. There is no excuse for his behavior, the red card was absolutely warranted in that situation. Football isn’t a violent sport, keep your hands to yourself.
That serves Kudus right for reacting to everything he hears on the pitch. He should know that Van de Ven wanted to fustrate him with whatever he did or said to him, so that he can get upset and react which Kudus fell for ths trap, because Van de Vern knows that Kudus is West Ham hit man.

Assuming it was only Van de Vern that Kudus pushed on the face, it would have been better but he extended his aggression over to some other players which made the referee to change the yellow card to a red card. This should be a lesson to him for allowing the outcome of an ongoing match affect his emotions.

Bournemouth 2-0 Arsenal at full time. I did not expect that but Bournemouth deserved it. They will be without Saliba and Ødegaard for the Liverpool game next week now.
Congratulation to Bournemouth.  Arsenal players really missed opportunities in the early hours that would have made them to score goals before the red card, but they delay their opportunity that made Bournemouth to take the advantage of the red card to scored two goals to defeated Arsenal 2-0, For Liverpool vs Chelsea tomorrow, Liverpool will use home advantage to win Chelsea 2-1.
Arteta set up was the beginning of the problem since the beginning of the match. How can you play three defensive midfielders (Rice, Moreno, and Partey) at once and you know that none of you play makers are fit to play in the game; that’s why Arsenal couldn’t create more chances since before the red card, and after the red card the home team had another advantage which they used well at the end to get the three points.
Well deserved win for Bournemouth, it will serve as a lesson to any coach that will think of underrating any team because it is happening and no small team is willing to drop point anymore.

However, Teg Hag felt a bit frustrated with the result of the first which led to his reaction towards the centre referee after Matthijs was told to off the pitch to clean  the blood on his injured head, causing him to be shown a yellow card for his disrespect to the game rule. Ultimately, it's been a impressive turn around for Manchester United in the second as they control the game giving Brentford too much pressure.

De Light certainly made a name for himself with his resilience in today’s game. I don’t know why the manager didn’t sub him when he started bleeding so much. I think I understand better now what Ronaldo was saying about the state of club, the medical team is terrible. Can’t blame the Referee for doing the only sensible thing in that situation.

Onto tomorrow and Liverpool must beat Chelsea. You have to take advantage when your rivals slip up.

Come on Liverpool.
I think almost all bettors lost their money in betting this match because no one dared to take big expectations for Bournemouth but in the end they got the victory in this match.

Arsenal tried their hardest from the start but losing SaliBoy in the 30th minute made Arteta try harder to play a little more defensively and not too all out in attack even though they still controlled the game but losing 1 player obviously disrupted the scheme they ran.
With this result, it will certainly be an advantage for Liverpool and Manchester City because after all they are clearly quite optimistic to at least distance themselves a little from their rivals this week, although for Liverpool this is still a little difficult to do because of their big match, of course this is still a fifty-fifty especially Chelsea's performance is quite improved at the beginning of this season in contrast to the previous season.

The 8th week of the Premier League was very dramatic, four of the seven matches were marked by red cards.
In my opinion, Arsenal defeat to Bournemouth was a big surprise, where before the match started Arteta squad was very favored, but William Saliba red card changed many things from the course of the match.
Manchester United victory over Brentford was also in the spotlight, because most likely the positive result will make Ten Hag continue to be maintained at Old Trafford. Now The Red Devils have risen to 11th place, after getting an additional 3 points.
Manchester City will benefit greatly this week, because they have a great opportunity to take over the top of the standings, because as we are aware Liverpool will host Chelsea tomorrow.

It's pretty obvious that Man United really wants a win. When compared to previous matches they had a pretty good build up in this match. Apart from that, they also immediately pressed tightly when they lost the ball and I think that's something that's very rarely seen. They have been leading 2-1 for a while now, and I think if they don't make any blunders, it looks like they will get their win.

From how Manchester United was playing their was nothing that could be done, the way they were playing actually looks different from how Manchester United have been playing, today looks different it is now looking as if ten actually wants to make a difference this period, from the stats shows that they have 11 shots on target. And that is an improvement coming from the Red Devils at least their performance today should have calm their fans because majority of them are no longer showing intrest in supporting the club so their is nothing their fans can do because most of them want the man sacked.

The moment brentford scored first that was the period thay the United started picking up because it looks like they wanted to under estimate the performance of brentford, thay is football for you can not predict the direction at which the game will go.
There is nothing different from what they played today to what they have been playing in the league. The only thing that seems new is that Manchester United was able to equalize and win a game finally. After several matches of losing to both big  teams and underdogs now they have one victory. Which is a good one for Ten Hag. He can finally speak to the press conference with his heart warming speech. During today's conference after the game ended. Erik Ten Hag said his team has been really impressive in other matches just like they did in this game. And he is proud of them, surely they will win their next game.

It is fortunate or rather unfortunate that Manchester United has managed to win today's match. I am happy with the win but right inside me as a Manchester United fan, I wanted Manchester United to lose this match in order to present a clear scenario that demands that Erik10 should be sacked. The win against Brentford is just like a camouflage to decieve Manchester United management to keep him longer to continue his epileptic performance

I don’t think anything like that is going to happen even if he had lost the match today. The management has not made any official statement regarding to that or have we had anything like a rumour concerning him being sacked. He has the trust from the tall team and no matter how many times their fans and football lovers wants him to leave, if the management is still okay with his service, he’ll stay longer than the time we are assuming he will stay. He has won today’s match, but we have to wait to see how far he can come with this great performance in the league games and other competitions they’re participating in now.

Arsenal have already lost the game. After the game ended with 2 goals that were scored by Bournemouth players, it was a really bad result for Arsenal tonight because personally I didn’t expect the game to end this way. I was expecting a win from Arsenal because they are in good shape. At first, I was expecting Arsenal to at least play a draw with the 10 players, but they failed to do that. The red card already affected them, but Arsenal would have tried to end the game in a draw with a man down. This is a really bad result for them. 2 goals from Bournemouth are too much for a team like Arsenal.
Finally Arsenal have to received their first loses in Premier league this season and very surprising the team who can able to beat them is Bournemouth which i am sure most of us didn't expect this result happened to them because previously Bournemouth always be lost while fight against Arsenal but this time i have to says the red card is really affected to Arsenal performance in this match and actually although Arsenal playing with only 10 players they can still slightly dominate the match but indeed Bournemouth can utilize these situations and used counter attack strategy and in the second half within 9 minutes Bournemouth can scores 2 goals and i have been notice too this is Arsenal first loses since December last year for away match in Premier league

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹

Manchester United just came back from one goal down to become two goals ahead. The two goals came after the second half and they are still controlling the game with more ball possession and shots on target. This might be the relief Erik Ten Hag is looking for. Brentford has been silent in the second half and is not showing any sign of coming out to play the game. Old Trafford is now alive with the fans celebrating their lead. One-goal advantage shouldn't be celebrated with a team like United because they don't have a reliable defence. They can easily concede a goal and get just one point.
Congratulations to Manchester United for securing all three points against Brentford. I can imagine the relief Erik Ten Hag is feeling right now. More victories like this and Erik Ten Hag will be able to convince the fans and his critics that he has Manchester United on the right track to their days of glory. Hopefully this is not a onetime thing and they can build on this win onto their next match.

Lovely jubbly.

Definitely a red card as he was the last defender and the B’mouth striker was through on goal. He’ll miss the Liverpool game now which could be a big help to us.

We’ll see if Arsenal can hold out with 10 men in this game. They won’t be under constant attacking pressure like the game at The Ethad though. They will still have chances in the second half.
The match has ended and Arsenal had to accept defeat in this away match with a final score of 2-0.
I was really surprised by the final result of this match as Arsenal were basically favorites to win, but things didn't go according to plan. The red card was the reason why Arsenal struggled to do much in this match, but there was a problem in defense in my opinion.

Now Arsenal must realize that Aston Villa are the same points behind, but they will probably have a higher points gap than Manchester City and Liverpool. Manchester City has a big chance to win against Wolves, but I'm still curious about the Liverpool vs Chelsea match.

What an epic weekend!! Five red cards in the games today, amazing comebacks and a shocking defeat all in one league! I'm not surprised that Man UTD came from under to defeat Brentford, neither was I in the least moved when Aston Villa turned the game in their favor but I was taken aback by Leicester's own. Well not to be too surprised because Southampton haven't been on their best at all.
Shit! At a time time when the Gunners needed the three points that's when they just had to lose so woefully and to a team who in the sixteen times they've crossed paths have lost once and this one will make it the second time for them. Arsenal remain at 3rd place with 17 points which isn't healthy because if Chelsea should win their match against Liverpool tomorrow, it will see Arteta's boys moving one spot down to sit at fourth place as they presently occupy the 3rd position.

The Bournemouth game against Arsenal have just entered the last 15 minutes of normal time with the home team leading by a line goal courtesy of Ryan Christie's goal in the 70th minute. I don't think Arsenal at this point have any chance of getting back in to the game considering the fact that they're currently a man down. If Arsenal goes on to lose this game, I think it'll affect their season since the next three league games will be against strong sides like Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea. William Saliba will as well miss these three matches because of the suspension that comes with the red card he received today

Red card?, Well it's part of football. I watched the game to some extent, and I can say that Bournemouth played well to win the game. I believe after that red card, arsenal still had a chance because they where playing well. The sudden change of an attacker for a defender was what I felt decreased their momentum. Not really sure of what happened today, but it seems they are not just the usual arsenal. They literally misplaced lots of passes today, which proves that something was wrong.

As for Saliba, this happens to be his first red card for the gunners if I'm not mistaken. But I guess timber can feel in that slot for the next 2 epl games, which means he is going to miss both Liverpool and Newcastle game. Ideally, it ought to be 3 epl games, but since EFL cups are always counted as well, it means he is going to miss just two epl games. The team should better go back to their drawing board, and make plans for the next UCl game.
