In my opinion man city draw against West ham was normal and totally logic, west ham this season isn't an easy opponent and they can make difficulties for any club in the premier league, city last matche will be an easy one and surly they will win regardless Liverpool results
Above all else, it wasn't an easy match for Tottenham at all today. Actually the first half was fully under control of them but they were able to score only one goal. And in the other half, they just tried to keep their score advantage until the end. I can't say that they played defensively but they had less goal opportunities I mean. Burnley found many more opportunities in this half but there was no shot on goal. Tottenham managed to get that 1-0 win. Let's see how Arsenal will answer to it.

To be honest, I also expect Hertha to win against HSV. Because I believe they are the better teams and with the performance, they have shown in Bundesliga I do expect them to play better compared to hamburgers.
It's been a long time for me since I have seen Schalke playing this good and I really have high hopes for them in the Bundesliga next season. I hope they will be at least able to finish in the top 10 in Bundesliga.
That was stunning to see City losing in the first half with 2 goals vs West Ham. Then once they got the draw, I thought they will win but they only managed to get 1 point.. Well better than nothing but they weren't able to get the title, almost, since this round.

The problem of Manchester city right now is the goalkeeper, Manchester City needs to change a their goalkeeper if they really want to win their remaining game. Joe will be better of as the goalkeeper, the present goal keeper can't save shots that's why real madrid won Manchester city in the previous game and today West Ham succeeded in putting the ball in the net in the first half.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the goalkeeper at the moment. you can't just watch from one match for now. This season City have conceded just 24 goals and that is the fewest goals conceded this season. it already proves that Ederson is a good goalkeeper. regardless of how good City's defense was now but how many saves he made there. I think there is no shortage for this goalkeeper

This is the fact indeed, Manchester city defense was very unlike what we know, the goals they conceded should never have been conceded. Mahrez had a chance to win the game, yes, but they would have won the game long since and the miss from Mahrez will not have been considered. I was sincerely hoping that they lost or share points in this game, I hope as well that the gunners win their game Newcastle. An early goal will be an advantage for us.

Mahrez's penalty could have sealed the deal but he missed. Generally it's keeper who is under pressure but in that situation I would say it was Mahrez more under pressure. It's not easy but yeah first half was much of West Ham show who didn't had much possession onthe ball but got two goals out of whatever attack plays they had and that was tremendous. Still a point gives them much more advantage than no points like I earlier said.

What a great game we watch and I'm not even talking about City game. Everton and Brentford show us a great fight. Brentford destroyed ten men Everton's win hopes in two minutes with two classy headers. Everton is still in danger line and early red card blew their chances. They took the lead but it was obvious they couldn't hold onto it with this defense. Leeds got draw in last minute, Burnley got more hope, anything is possible in last week.
I feel like Lampard spoilt the match. He was so lucky to be leading the match with one man down, what actually stopped him from defending the match to end in 2:1. His master Mourinho should be disappointed at him by now. Simply remove a striker and replace with a defender. The worse result he would have gotten would have been draw which will be a good result for him.Well he still has chances of escaping the relegation because he still has two matches to the end of the season while some has only 1. No team will think like that unless they chance to win the title is highly opened with no other team can overtake the chance.
Manchester City's position is still not safe before the match because there is still a chance for Liverpool to overtake their position if Manchester City lose points in their last 2 games.
I'm pretty sure most team will prefer to get the party earlier than to do the party in their own Stadium and waste the chance to get the party earlier.
Even if they win against Westham, the party will still be determined in the last game in case Liverpool are not losing points.

So I think it's wrong to think that the Manchester City goalkeeper needs to be replaced. maybe in my opinion in the match earlier it was the team's fault for not being able to start the match well in the first half.
Yes sometimes in a match the opponent can give an unexpected surprise so the focus of defense becomes chaotic and concedes more

Meanwhile Liverpool are still 4 points behind because they have not played their 37th match and if Liverpool win then the points gap will only be 1. He knows the importance of every point at this point. A point is just enough to put enough advantage and pressure on Liverpool. Liverpool are yet to play against Southampton and at best they can close the gap to 1 point but still it's gonna be down to the last final stage of PL to decide the winner of PL. No wonder Pep getting dramatic throughout the match, I am sure Klopp would have been in same position if Liverpool were in to same position.

I have seen Pep angry face since the first half ended but he deserves to be recognized as a great coach for designing an extraordinary strategy to equalize the score, but after the game ended, Pep's expression changed to joy because his strategy worked by ending the match even though the score was draw.Jump to:
