What's wrong with Chelsea and Man United? The beginning of the season is lacking enthusiasm for both top teams. Man United appeared without any resistance at home but it doesn't matter, the most important thing is that my prediction was right. But the problem is that Chelsea couldn't take advantage of every opportunity they had when playing against Crystal Palace who were in bad shape. I thought they could at least score 3 goals without conceding. But it turned out to be difficult to predict Chelsea inconsistent performance at the beginning of this season.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea this week received results that did not match their expectations, Arsenal, who lost points at home, also lost Declan Rice in their next match, Arsenal's draw against Brighton made them lose their current position in the standings, so also with Manchester United who yesterday had to suffer their second defeat this season against Liverpool, Manchester United performance in the match against Liverpool does not depict them as the winning team this season, I think ten hag has failed in building Manchester United current squad and mentality although they have brought in a lot new players this season, what happened to Manchester United may be worse than Chelsea, but what happened to Chelsea is certainly more embarrassing than what Arsenal achieved after they spent a lot of money this season, previously Chelsea fans have high hopes for their team after chelsea can destroyed Wolves with a big score, but what we saw in the match against Crystal Palace was as if Chelsea had run out of ammunition to break into Crystal Palace goal Grin.

And again the Liverpool side are too fast for Manchester United players to stop them from getting into their 18 yard box, nobody to help out the man whom I believe they'll blame Casemiro, fine it wasn't one of his days but he tried to cover the team but he alone can't do that job perfectly well. The other little man Mainoo that the English commentators have used over hyping to kill could not do anything to help Casemiro in that midfield since Bruno Fernandes is playing the false 9 and he can't do much in any where he plays.

Liverpool did well honestly, I want to give them all the credit for that win yesterday, Arne Slot knew Manchester United power was within the midfielders.
Casemiro was the fault isn't it? When you look at the build up to that first and second goal scored by Liverpool, you'd see that he was the cause to them goals. Kobbie Mainoo played as DM during the second half of the game which wasn't his best position, don't go blaming a player who didn't do well of his position yesterday, it's a wrong way to make analysis even though player'sare meant to make sacrifices for the club.
I'm not even sure you watched the game because Bruno Fernandez didn't play as a false nine during that game yesterday, you only misinforming people here which is wrong.

With that awful display by the Red Devils against Liverpool in yesterday's game that ended 0-3 it only shows that Manchester United are not yet settled in the league no difference from last season and I think the team is getting worse, no positive vibes like the players are not serious, no play maker in the team, 3 games 1 win 2 defeat and the manager ETH is telling the fans that before the end of the season the club is getting a trophy to end the season with, to me I don't think it will happen with this form they are in at the moment. Nothing productive to say the club can win something this season but is it too early for the fans to say Erik ten Heg should be sacked or they need to give him time? Because he hasn't done anything new other than lose and give excuses so is it time for ETH to take bow? After all Manchester United are being managed by 2 coaches.

Ten hag is not seriously fixing their problem last season. He doesn't strengthen their midfield. That's the main cause of their loss to Liverpool. They are too open in midfield. It lets opponents exploit their mid easily. Also, the loopholes in their midfield make them couldn’t mark anyone for the entire game.

It's clear to see that they lost by a huge margin at home to Liverpool.

Maybe that's what the management considers.  But looking at the condition of the first 3 matches I was quite worried. Ten Hag has had great transfers, but they can't play well. Many people say that Ten Hag managed to spoil Man United. Ten Hag damaged Man United with his stubbornness.
It seems that we have to give a chance until the middle of this season. If there is no improvement, he should leave. Man United must find a new coach who is right with Man United's character, so they don't have to start from scratch again.

Those bad episodes must be ended immediately, otherwise, Man United and perhaps Ten Hag will face the wrath they may not have wanted before. While it's not too late and there is hope with the presence of Ugarte, Man United really has to do an evaluation. The 3-0 defeat to Liverpool was indeed an embarrassing result but, Man United played well at first, and they even can pressure Liverpool, until one guy called Casemiro made a stupid mistake twice and I think that's what made the whole team waver.

The position must be given to Ugarte. Even though he will likely still need some warm-up minutes, but he has to be forced to be a starter because that is the only best option for Man United.

Erik ten Hag made too many mistakes in his transfer choices. He insisted on transferring his former players from Ajax to Manchester United. I think people who are not open to innovation often make choices like that. But Erik ten Hag is not the only problem at Manchester United. After Alex Ferguson, nobody has managed to make it there. So I want to be fairer when I criticize him. But at the same time I think Manchester United made a mistake by extending his contract. I can feel that Manchester United fans are very upset.

After disallowing the first goal I thought it was going to be a hard game for Liverpool but it seems so far so good. At-lease conceding two goals in the second half is not realistic for Liverpool.
No lies. I expected more goals from Liverpool and if it were during Jurgen Klopp's reign, he'd would have pressed his boys for more goals but Arne Slot seems to be comfortable with the ones he got and to him as long as those goals means his three points are secured, he doesn't care how many will come in.
So far he's having an impressive start and I'm curious to see how he and his boys will perform when they meet Arsenal, Man City or Tottenham Hotspur.

He doesn’t seem like a coach that can even identify his team’s problems not to talk of solving them, he had the whole transfer window to identify and strengthen his team’s weaknesses but chose to sign players randomly. A lot of players are not performing well but he doesn’t even seem to know about it and still choose to play them weeks in weeks out and these are important roles that when not strengthened the team will keep struggling. Casemiro clearly is not good enough to be United’s Defensive Midfielder but still chose to use him against Liverpool, Urgate should help fill that space when he joins up with the squad but there are still lots of positions that’s needs to be improved but then it wouldn’t guarantee that Ten Hag will be able to manage the team to their best.

Liverpool was clearly the better side and they deserved the win.

I agree with you and for me, the result is final. The match has turned 1-1 at the very extra time, no side seems better, but if one looks at it extensively, Chelsea is better than Cryptal Palace, the issue with them is that they lack the attacking as needed. They also blew away the win of the first half when Crystal Palace scored nothing until the second half. I don't see any goals coming for either side till this match ends with what they are both playing.

Chelsea football team should attack in last minutes to win this match but they didn't attack in this match and after that we saw match was ended with draw. We want result of that match but that was good performance by Crystal Palace team because they gave all efforts to win this match and after doing 1 goal they defended very well and every time they saved the goal. The goalkeeper of Crystal Palace team is good player and he has mindset of winners and he will be winner of next matches because he is looking in good form. Jackson did first goal in this match and after that no player became successful to do next goal and  that was big reason behind the result of draw match.

It seems that because Erik ten Hag managed to make Manchester United get the FA Cup trophy last season, maybe that is the reason Manchester United kept Erik ten Hag. Although previously I thought it would be fine anyway, but the reality is that Erik ten Hag is indeed unable to do anything to improve the quality of Manchester United. Because anyway, with Erik ten Hag being given the freedom to build a team but the results are still bad like this, then of course it would be better for Manchester United to immediately look for a new manager.

I will not confidently give the glory of last season Manchester United FA Cup Finals to the coach. I know he is the head coach, he takes the major part of the blame as well he should enjoy the major part of the glory.

But, some Manchester united players, if not all, get their best to win the FA Cup trophy against Manchester City last season. For instance, when Manchester United were playing so badly last season and Bruno fernandes was interviewed to know his stand and fate about Manchester United. In his response, he said that he doesn't care how poor Manchester United was last season, that is only concerned was to win the FA Cup. This testimony showed that Bruno fernandes and as well as other players came to that final as if it was a war. The fought and luckily one day FA Cup. And that was what secured the job for Erik till now. But if he continuous with this inconsistency, I am afraid he will not last till the end of the season.

All I see is incompetence and inexperience being displayed by the Manchester United team as they got trashed by Liverpool yesterday at the old Trafford, it hasn't been up to five games and they have 2 losses already from 3 matches which means the team is not in good shape despite the fact that Manchester United already recruited some new players into the fold, the coach seemed not to know the right strategy to engage, the liverpool attack line were at their best yesterday as mohammed salah kept combining so well with his colleagues to overrun the Manchester United defenders and firing home the second goal to give his team a two goal advantage in the first half. It's is very obvious that the Manchester United Boss, Eric Ten Hag hasn't really fixed his side very well and may risk loosing his job before mid season if things do not turn out for the better at the old Trafford.

Man U have been in bad form for more than one season now... Probably it's very important for them to find a good coach who will make the whole team play well... Of course Liverpool are very strong now and I had no doubts that they will win this away match... In the end, so far there are only two clubs that have managed to win all three matches... Man U lost two games, which shows a bad start to the season for them...

I don't really know what Manchester united board find interesting in Eric Ten Hang that made them to renew his contract after last season performance. It's been three years now but Manchester united don't have game plan and tactics. He's kept using his 4-2-3-1 despite that it's not working. There's no offense in trying another formation like 4-4-2 or even 3-5-2 but he preferred to be adamant with his failed formation.

If you observe you'll notice how players look lost in the pitch with no coordination. Even if you give Manchester city squad to Eric Ten Hang to manage, they will fail woefully. Just imagine new couch doing well in their clubs while Ten Hang is battling to build a team. There is no part of the team that is working effectively from the goal keeper to attackers. The defense is very shaky and the couch has no clue of what to do.

Because with results like this, it is very likely that Manchester United in this season will only be in the middle of the standings or fail to compete in the top four or maybe only for the top six it still seems difficult. Indeed, Erik ten Hag should be able to improve Manchester United's performance,  because Erik ten Hag himself chose the players included in the squad. Thus, Erik ten Hag must also know about the potential of each player, of course, to make Manchester United's performance better and stronger.

It's another day to blame it all on Erik Ten Hag. I don't know what Manchester United fans want. They are still the ones who are certain that this ETH would be a better coach if he is allowed to manage the team another season. But I don't see the fault in him, I am certain that Manchester United's midfield and defense are poor. As long as it remains that way they will concede goals in all of their premier league matches. Even the smallest team would score them.

Again I don't know what came over Casemerio he lost composure, and I have noticed this when he plays big teams he is completely lost. In my opinion, all the players should be sold to get fresh new players except Mainoo, Onana, Dalot, Mactominnay, and the newly signed players. The rest should go.

I feel like Manchester United lacks patience in between, they want change and growth but want it to happen overnight with a squad without depth. I don't know if they think Erik Ten Hag as a magician but believe me, this are professional players who he is not going to school how to pass and kick the ball. He mad the right call yesterday against Liverpool it's just that Casemiro flopped. This is not the first time he has flopped for Manchester United losing possession and also causing errors in the middle of the park. There's nothing wrong with the defenders honestly. When you don't have a midfieder who cannot break down plays and pick the right pass to his opponents then there'll be problem. It's high time they sell Casemiro he takes a higher payroll only to commit all of these blunders. Talking about players that should leave, don't forget the name Marcus Rashford next time because he has not comtirbued to Manchester United. He wasn't with the English squad that played the European Competition, he should have had all the time to work on himself intensively.

Exactly, their finishing was very bad, because of that they only exceled in ball possession, but very few shots towards the goal. Yes, it is because their attacking lines are that bad.
I think it's not just the finishing that looks worse where almost all of Manchester United's positions are not performing well.
The goal happened because of a mistake in the midfield where Casimero made a mistake and the defenders also didn't try to cover the empty position before Liverpool players scored.
That's why I also said that their defense is very bad. And indeed, Man United is still the same as before, the problem is quite complex in all lines. And this time, it was really bad. Although indeed, the opponent is Liverpool, I also don't think that they will be able to win or hold a draw, they will definitely lose. It's just that they also wasted a lot of opportunities.

Ten Hag needs to be fired, otherwise, he will draw the club backward. Manchester united should think of hiring a better coach that knows what he is doing and how to improve the team performance so that they don't play like an average team.
This is a pros and cons. On one hand, they understand that Man United's condition is very bad, because there are indeed various complex problems. but on the other hand, they appreciate how Ten Hag brought Man United to become the FA Cup champion last season. so, Man United still trusts Ten Hag.

There was something interesting he said in his inverter view, after Man United's defeat to Liverpool.

I have lost hope in Ten Hag and I don't think he will be that coach who will take United to the promise land because he does not have the quality. Did he thinks that bringing new players to the club without a game strategy is improvement or what.

What I saw yesterday was good players with no direction on the field and they don't know what to do when they are faced with tension because they don't have the proper game pattern. It is sad to see that United gave Ten Hag a second chance instead of sacking him.

It is very unfortunate that Manchester United fell at their home base by Liverpool, especially since they were defeated with a landslide score without being able to reduce the score. I did not watch this match, but referring to the statistical data, Erik Ten Hag's team really underperformed. I am not sure to speculate, but if you look at the data, United's defenders were really in disarray. Likewise with the performance of Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo, they have poor statistical values. Likewise with Zirkzee, he did not contribute much to his team. Overall, it is likely that Erik Ten Hag's team did not play solidly.

In the Liverpool camp, Arne Slot's team again won full points for their third match. In fact, Liverpool have not conceded a goal so far. At least, The Red supporters have confidence in their new coach. Even as we all know, in this summer transfer window Liverpool did not bring in many newcomers.

I think Manchester united is bigger than Ten Hag to manage and we have seen that the second time again, because last season Ten Hag gave excuses that it was lack of players fitness that led to team's poor performance but it is not true because he has good players now and he still cannot achieve victory.

Harry Maguire without doubt have had his very poor moments in Manchester United shirt but that was before the second half of last season as we all know he's been the club's most outstanding defenders since the start of this year. I was surprised with Erik ten Hag's decision to start him on bench in a big league game against Liverpool but since he's the manager, he'll still have the final say regardless of what we think of his tactical approaches.
Looking at the quality of players in the Manchester United team and the options available for the manager, I have a strong opinion that Manchester United will do exceptionally better than they're currently doing if they're managed by a better manager. Erik ten Hag on many occasions have shown how clueless and poor he is in making decisions that can effect positive impact on his team whenever they're trailing against big teams and that to me is a sign that he's an average manager that doesn't deserve the job at Old Trafford. The club management must get rid of him if they really want to see Manchester United play exciting games once again
100% agree it seems like this defeat is not entirely the fault of the players but the main factor is Erik Ten Hag, an incompetent, incompetent coach who also forces himself too much as if he is able to manage Man United. I am sure if Man United's coach was not him, then Man United's performance would not be this bad. 3 matches have been played and the Red Devils are in 14th position in the standings, the worst position I have ever seen at the start of a season. Man United's level of play is below standard, Onana build up is ineffective because when Onana kicks the ball it ends up at the opponent's feet. This has happened several times but Erik Ten Hag has not changed the pattern of play. For Liverpool, a game like this is a delicious meal and I agree with what Mo Salah said after the match, a game that is very easy to enjoy.

Manchester United is in a horrible shape, and Ten Hag's coaching is, to be honest, a mess. I know; they won the FA Cup. But folks, Ten Hag's got no answers and this season starts off quite badly. Other teams exist out there improving, moving forward, and producing results. And whats United doing? Watching from the sidelines, fiddling their thumbs. Its embarrassing.

Ten Hag's got a track record of excuses, not results. This is not about a couple poor games. Thats a pattern. United requires a real leader, a winner, not someone content to merely pick a pay grade. And many outstanding coaches abound who would seize the opportunity to lead Manchester United. Ten Hag's had his shot and blew it. Its time to let him go and call in someone who can really help this squad get back on track.
Man United is no longer Man United but this club has become the Ajax version of Man United where there are Martinez, Onana, De Ligt, Mazraoui, Ugarte, and Antony. So I am not surprised anymore that they lost badly to Liverpool who are already at a different level. There is nothing that Man United needs to do because keeping Erik Ten Hag for the next 5 seasons would be much better. Or imagine if Man United were relegated this season, it would be very exciting to watch. There is nothing positive that we see from this match, because the game is very messy, Onana could not make any saves at all.

long live Erik Ten Hag because with you Man United is on the right track Grin
