A short time ago, Manchester City scored their second goal too and they are in the lead by 2-0 now. I can consider this game as finished already now. Because Leeds would need a miracle to turn the game around from here. Manchester City are very focused on winning the league title just as Liverpool are now. But I think that one of those title contenders will make a mistake before the end of the season. And if Manchester City do so, then I don't think Liverpool would lose their lead after taking it.
It wasn't all that convincing from Liverpool today. But such matches are always in between, then it is only about taking the 3 points home, at least they have done that. The 0-1 that fell quite early, I expected that Liverpool would increase the score further, but that didn't work out. The pressure is now back on Manchester City, but they have the advantage of the points lead over Liverpool. Actually, they are both entitled to the title, if you consider how good and better they are compared to the rest of the teams in the league.

Man City might need to close out this game early enough in the 2nd half so as to afford any form of upset.

Liverpool had a comfortable game actually but the score was still risky of course. They led the game by 1-0 until the end of it. This gap would have grown bigger actually if Liverpool were able to make use of their chances more efficiently. Newcastle couldn't do much against Liverpool in terms of performance but they at least didn't lose by a big gap. And Manchester City are leading their Leeds game by 1-0 now. Liverpool will hope for them to lose points but I don't think that it is likely to happen.

Manchester City will win this game with ease, Leeds are not In good form right now and can't stand a team like Manchester City who needs this victory to climb up to the table and retain there number one position, after watching crystal palace against Leeds United I doubt if Leeds can upset Manchester City because against palace they were awful even though they got a draw, it was just luck, Wilfred zaha and Eze open there defence with ease, talk of more what Manchester City can do them with more quality players.

Wasn't that just an unbelievable lost in the two matches that ended with the two away sides scoring twice in a row while the two home sides were leading 1-0 at half time?
Too see Crystal palace scoring the two with Zaha just coming on was a shock but to see Watford losing the way they did was even more devastating way to lose giving up two goals just minutes apart with 10 minutes left of the match.

With the rate Liverpool is going and the momentum they have presently, I think it is difficult to doubt if they can win the quadruple this season. They seems to be growing from strength to strength and obviously on course to get those trophies. Liverpool have been impressive this season and a quadruple will be a big boost to their ego

Manchester City have an excellent performance. I think they are the most in form team in the world right now. I predict they will beat Leeds United. It's really hard to resist them. If you can stop Mahrez, you can't stop De Bruyne. If you manage to stop both of them, Gabriel Jesus takes the stage as a surprise. It's impossible to stop this team. The best thing you can do is complete the match without conceding many goals. Also, Leeds United had good momentum. They have not lost their last 5 matches. The injuries of Adam Forshaw, Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts continue in the team. They have no other major shortcomings. But today their rivals are very strong. They have no chance in this match.

The line up is out I saw on Manchester City's official Twitter and only De Bruyne is on the bench for this match, so I don't think Pep will have any doubts about the main players having to play tonight because it's also important to get points, of course it won't be let go. of course the game must be won in order to maintain their position as the main in the EPL.
With this win, Its becoming more unpredictable and man city is about to play a game which they don’t have good memories playing. I expected newcastle to secure a draw based on their recent form but that wasn’t the case.. They survived most part of the game, stats were incomparable, shots both on and off target, possession wise. Bad miss from Salah and Jota but it is what it is..

Their breakthrough day was quite lacking and it seemed like a wasted opportunity but I think it's still quite good considering there are almost 5 to 6 players there who are cover for the core players so I'm still impressed with their game
