I hope this is a good start for the confidence recovery from Chelsea after the loss to Madrid. they will be ready for the 2nd leg and chasing a pretty tough aggregate.

My most concern is with Manchester United and Arsenal the two clubs played today but with a very poor performance in Manchester United lost today with Everton walking away with 1 goal score and presently arsenal playing with already 2 goals down and in the 80 minutes this is a bad weekend for both club fans as the match fixture today did not go well for them at all.

This is the main problem of Man United in the whole season and they are unable to overcome it.
They were better in few matches when Carrick handle the team as temporary coach and I think the decision to have Rangnick is a mistake.
Of course few matches of Carrick is not enough to prove that he is better than Rangnick.
Carrick has better relationship with most United's players because he has been there since he was a player and he has the ability to manage the team physically and emotionally.

This lost had put the final end to their UCL qualification bid, if they are not careful they may also miss Europa league qualification.
If Erik ten Hag is eventually appointed as their new manager, the team needed a complete overhauling, a lot of mediocre players in the squad should be sold off, their lackadaisical approach and their poor performance in today's match is a clear indication that the team needed a complete rebuilding.

I don't think it's an incredible result, maybe a bit surprising, but not hugely surprising. The worst problem Everton face is the pressure of a relegation fight. But when they play Man U, the pressure is off because over the last few decades Man U have been a huge team and Everton would be expected to lose. So I'm not surprised Everton could up their game a bit. Similarly, Man U are overrated and are not the team they were even a few seasons back.

I don't think that formation is the problem of Manchester United but rather the midfielder and down the defense line. The defense lacks compact play that will supply passes to the middle field then forward. Manchester conceive goals and can't keep up the pace to score back. If you look at the Everton match that recorded an early goal, they couldn't get a through pass to equalize the goal. They are really doing deservice to the fans.

Arsenal still lost 0-1 goals created by G.Martinelli are invalid and have been disallowed, now the first half is over and Arsenal are 1 goal behind. it is a very dangerous situation for them if they fail to get up and win the game because their competition with Tottenham is very fierce and if Arsenal continue to fail to get full points then there is no hope for them to finish in the top 4 of the final standings.

Lets watch to see Arsenal come back in the second half so far the have more possession of the ball all the need is co-ordination and more focus. Christaino Ronaldo thought for things to continue this way for Manchester United, because am very sure if he had known or see Manchester United this way he wouldn't have made his decision. this is really an unexpected result, I don't know who is at fault here even though Everton have played really badly in the last few games, this looks funny to me.
Manchester United is the most inconsistent club at the moment, they sometimes play well sometimes also play very badly.
maybe it's not only the Manchester United coach who should be replaced but all the players because I see they don't play with all their heart to make this club proud.
