The only advantage Manchester City has over Liverpool is a one-point advantage in the standings, but we are well aware that such an advantage is scanty and can be lost literally within one round in the event of a successful result in the form of a victory for Liverpool and a defeat or a draw for City.
What team lose concentration in Premier League will lose trophy there. Because they are still in Champions League which will drain a lot of their resources. They are all want to win it but Manchester City have more ambition to win Champions League, from board director to coach to players. They highly want to win their first Champions League in the club history, in their career or first one with the club (Pep). So it will highly be like Manchester City will spend less concentration for Premier League and consequently they might lose more points there

Quote
I would also call Manchester City the undisputed favorite for the end of the championship, given the previous history, but this season Josep Guardiola's wards are not carrying out a typical ending and managed to lose that solid advantage that in previous years allowed them to comfortably take the title. Therefore, I will refrain from declaring any club a favorite for the time being and I think and hope that Manchester City and Liverpool will give us a bright ending and a serious fight for the title until the last rounds.
It's bad for Pep and Manchester City to waste their big difference months ago and now with the tough matches in Champions League, they will have more challenge to maintain just 1 point difference against Liverpool. It is super hard to balance resource allocation and concentration for both Premier League and Champions League and I am sure most of people in Manchester City want to win Champions League more than Premier League. They have won a few Premier League but no Champions League so far.

I don't see any reason to think that Manchester City will lose against Burnley. I have seen the statistics of the match between these two teams. Burnley have lost all of their last five matches against Manchester City. In these 5 matches, Burnley failed to score a single goal, while City scored 17 goals. Burnley is always weak against City. But yes, there is a possibility of a draw. So Manchester City must play carefully.
If we look at the stats of previous matches and the current performance, there is no chance for Man City to get a draw or lose. They must do their best efforts to get 3 points because the point gap with Liverpool is only 1. Burnley is a very weak team, Man City will destroy them with more than 3 goals. I don't underestimate Burnley, but this team is in a relegation zone and always loses in the last 3 matches. Man City mustn't miss the chance to get full points.

I’m aware that Burnley are legitimately fighting a relegation battle this season. But their last three games have been a complete abysmal. Burnley's rugged and defensive playing style has been scrutinised heavily. They haven’t been decent defensively. And that’s where Manchester city loves to cruise. Maybe it might be a different result this time owning to the fact that Burnley will be playing at home and be dangerous to prove a point. Manchester City will be the favourites to win, although Burnley will make it difficult. Manchester city knows that any slip up in result at a very crucial moment like this will surely end their season.

Man City remains the favorite for me to win the title. In the end, they are now just ahead of Liverpool. Liverpool have been doing better in recent games and have more convincing. But City have also had a streak this season, winning 12 consecutive times after their lackluster start. Then suddenly they were on top. If City plays like a machine, it's hard to play against it. Liverpool also has no chance. But City have been vulnerable this season a few times already.
I decently agree with you, Manchester city to me is one one of the strongest team in the world of football, their pattern of play is spectacular. They hardly lose points, the team is well arrange and they also believed in team work. With their recent performance I still have no doubts they can win the title.

Everyone must support Manchester City to win because they have better stats during this season. So, it is very reasonable if City is the favorite team to win the title this season. Although the point gap is only 1, I think it is difficult for Liverpool to beat Manchester City. Manchester City missed full points in 2 matches lately, but I think it won't happen again. But we cannot state that Liverpool has no chance, they have a chance to overtake Manchester City. Now, it depends on how consistent City or Liverpool to get full points in the remaining matches.

A team such as Burnley being at the relegation zone at critical moments like this in the league is where they become the most dangerous and could be very surprising in putting up a good fight. The disappointing thing to which ever way they intend to fight this is, Liverpool isn't far fetched from Manchester City and any mistake is sure to be a league trophy cost mistake and as such, Pep isn't going to take any chances. He's sure to be putting out everything to ensure the league is won as this could be his chance to some prestigious trophy this season. The UCL is highly competitive already and so, Pep is sure to maximise his chances with the EPL.

Based on statistics Manchester City can win easily but a team in the relegation zone can be a surprise they have more motivation
Maybe you still remember when Crystal palace beat Manchester City at home well that's one example when the situation can't be controlled
I'm not saying Manchester City will lose again this is only a consideration when against a team in the relegation zone.
Indeed, sometimes we cannot guess the motive when the matc occurs. Because it is invisible, the EPL is a competitive league that sometimes big teams lose to small teams. Statistic Their players are also below Man City but sometimes possession and dominance of the match do not make him win, they lose with effectiveness. Anything can happen before the game is over, but I think a lot of people will bet on Man City.

I don't see anything tricky about Manchester City game against Burnley though, the gap between the two teams is enough to tell that only a miracle can make burnley get point from that game. Manchester City have been at the number one spot of the EPL since December and it is very difficult for that to change this weekend. For Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, I think they should be able to squeeze a win if they are at their best but if they put in their usual performance, I'm not sure  they will be able to get a point. Aston Villa and Wolves will be 50-50, more likely to end in a draw.

Burnley perform best when playing against the big boys, and right now they are fighting for survival and you can't write them off in shocking Manchester City. Wolves and Aston villa game will be an attacking game because both side are in top form, wolves are fighting for Europe and are having a great season that makes them and Manchester City as the two team that have conceive less goal this year but  that doesn't means Aston villa are walkover because this villa side are playing magnificent ever since Steven Gerrard came, so I predict this game as a draw.

Premier league is voting on the '5 substitutes' rule again tomorrow. There were a few attempts during the last few years to make it happen, mostly by top clubs, but now it seems that there will be enough support for the rule to pass.

~snip~
Even I just heard this. Of course if I become a coach then I feel happy. I can have many alternative strategy options. That jamt, will save the players energy and it is profitable for a busy schedule like the EPL. But besides that maybe the coaches can also use this to waste time when they have won. To be honest I do not reject this rule update, because this looks to be able to give an advantage to all league participants.

Liverpool are in smoking hot form right now. It is not matter of where it is going to be played but yeah that do effect but compared to the level of the teams I don't think it's gonna effect much. Both teams are high on confidence and I don't think that crowds cheering or their chants would take much effect.
Gotta agree on this but the match decider will be on the next round between City and Liverpool. Both teams are pretty even right now despite of their recent form, City had it easier because they were far ahead then the other teams few rounds ago but it is getting on their nerve now because Liverpool is already closing in on the gap

Honestly leaning towards Liverpool but it most likely could be a draw though

I wouldn't say Liverpool and Manchester City are even right now because I think Liverpool is one step ahead at the moment then Manchester City.

Liverpool has a better chance of winning the English Premier League this season. they have been playing really well recently. and if we look at the records of the last five matches I think we will find Liverpool having a better record than Manchester City.

Well eventually the statistics do not favor Man City very much and I know that Liverpool is very motivated to win, because they have a unique opportunity that I think they could take advantage of the advantage they have to secure the Premier League, however we cannot forget that we have Pep Guardiola leading one of the best teams to date, and despite the fact that they are not a star team like others, this team is like a sleeping lion, you don't have to look for it too much because if it wakes up it will get up and there will be nothing left, in these moments I would not let myself be guided by statistics.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
Manchester City and Liverpool have easy games ahead. The opponents respectively are Burnley and Watford. These teams both are in the relegation area at the moment. And none of them seems to be very promising for staying in the Premier League at the end of the season. This is not a point for Manchester City or Liverpool to lose points. The point difference is only one now. Making a mistake will create a huge opportunity for the other. I expect both of them to play extra carefully and win.

Liverpool got a much easier match then City. Burnley is a really hard nut at home and i think against City they will defend hard and park the bus. While Watford is really weak and i think Liverpool will just destroy them in this match. But it will be intresting to see this premier league week
The fixture of Manchester City and Liverpool is interesting and coincidental. Many people are seeing it as a straight forward game where Manchester City and Liverpool will grab their respective 3 points. But I want to point out something for us. Both Burnley and Watford are in the relegation zone of the table and we know how mysterious EPL relegation teams can be. I am confident that a drama will be acted in one of these two fixtures. Burnley in the quest to escape relegation might hurt City.

Even so, they still lost in the end. Burnley are a good club defensively but that only happened in the first few minutes they played and when they started to lose focus then their defense was over and they turned really weak.
I think the odds are like that now, in the beginning of course they can hold it but they won't be able to hold on until 90 minutes of the game because it's quite difficult for Burnley to do

Yupp , it takes only 4 draw for manchester city to get slipped behind chelsea .. and 2 draw + 1 lost for liverpool to give the title away , perfect scenario for chelsea who currently had really huge odds , now or never to place the impossible bet on chelsea to win the premier league.

i might going to do this with a couple bucks , i don't wanna feel regret later.

Well  Cheesy Unexpected idea. In fact, this scenario looks almost unrealistic, especially given the problems Chelsea are facing. To be honest, I would be sorry to bet even a couple of dollars on such an outcome, even with odds of 300 or more. I am sure bookmakers do not offer anything like this and most likely quote such an event as 1 to 30 or 40.

By the way, I checked the current quotes and they are actually more fair than I thought:

Manchester City FC 1.46

Liverpool 2.65

Chelsea 190.00

Arsenal 825.00

Tottenham Hotspur 1 700.00

Manchester United 2000.00

I think that all the outcomes beginning from the third line are absolutely fantastic, so if I wanted to lose a couple of bucks, I would bet on United. X2000 looks very interesting  Grin
From real bets, in my opinion, a bet on Liverpool is profitable, fair odds should be about 1.7 and 1.9.

That means if both Liverpool and Man City wins their matches respectively against these weak opponents the gap will still remain one point till when the two team clash which might be the decisive match that will produce the league winner, of course I expected these upcoming matches to be win-win for both clubs, meanwhile Liverpool really tried having been trailing Man City who was leading them with 12 points in some couple of months ago came from behind a close the gab no thanks to some bad results from Man City, the rivary between the two clubs point to the fact that EPL is the most competitive league in the world.

Even so, I think Manchester United still deserve more support to win the match even though so far their performance has not been as expected. Ronaldo is the most important part of the team's game plan, he will probably be something that sets it apart. But can you really ignore Manchester United for better odds?

When the odds are at hand, I've almost spent a lot of bets on Manchester United lately and the results have been almost disappointing. So just anticipating because of this instability that it ended up keeping me from betting for a while. Leicester City is a club that is difficult to predict, when playing with a club above them their performance will improve more than their opponents. But if Man United itself, relying on Ronaldo, who always makes a big contribution in all lines, will make him work extra to maintain the team. Look how displeased all the faces of the players who are almost tired and Rangnick instead enter Maguire and it will be a disaster. I don't want this to keep happening. lol
Manchester United is often disappointing and the game is unstable, especially when there is new news that Edinson Cavani is doubtful for the Premier League match between Manchester United vs Leicester City on Saturday (2/4/2022) after suffering an injury while playing for Uruguay in the World Cup qualifier against Chile. .
This is not encouraging news for Edinson Cavani, who is currently in his second year with Manchester United. This is also bad news for Ralf Rangnick who complained about the absence of Edinson Cavani.
