Crystal Palace 0 - 0 City

 Grin

unbelievable that crystal palace managed to prevent City from scoring and the game ended in a draw.

Ball possession:

City = 74%

Crystal Palace = 26%

It's really very lucky that Crystal Palace didn't concede a goal and stop City, with that, it's enough for Liverpool to win for us to be very close to reaching City
Man City had just 4 shorts on target. Which is considerably low for the amount of possession they had. On the whole 18 shot attempted but only 4 on target. Which tells you the story on why they couldnt score. Just not enough clinical shots on target.

All the pressure its now in the Manchester City side.

In horse races they have a very certain phrase: " horse that reaches wins " i dont know if the traslate of this aphorism its good for the english tongue, but just in case, says that the horse that reaches the pointer ends up winning.

Can Liverpool finally catch the City and made true the horse aphorism?

Can't be sure but for sure the opportunity is now changing Man city 55% vs Liverpool 45% with a note if Liverpool can beat Arsenal tomorrow
As I said before every mistake is a loss and Man city paved the way closer to Liverpool, Man City fans must be disappointed with this draw but it wasn't final before Arsenal was beaten, we know Arsenal and Liverpool are the most on fire teams in the Premier League so it can't be predicted who will win.
I think still not fair with your percentage predicting between 55% for Manchester City and 45% for Liverpool because I think between both team have 50% chance each other, after held by Crystal Palace and waiting tomorrow night between Liverpool vs Arsenal I will see as which one potential team as the winner in this season, right now between Liverpool and Manchester City left behind 4 points only and could be 1 points if Liverpool can defeat Arsenal tomorrow night and looks still have chance when 32 week Manchester City vs Liverpool. Looks most excited with primer league competition because left several points only.

It is remarkable how many stitches Manchester City have dropped lately. The lead over Liverpool was really decent, but if Liverpool will win their game, the difference will only be 1 point. I'm not so sure now that City will become champions, although of course they are still first even if Liverpool win. Haven't watched the program but if City can't beat teams like Crystal Palace, they could have a hard time against everyone.

Man City dominated the whole match and Crystal Palace sat there hoping they don't concede a goal and it worked, now Liverpool has a chance to keep a difference of 1 point between them and man city but the match is going to be against Arsenal, my prediction is going to be a draw which is not bad for both of them but Liverpool could win that match if they put pressure on Arsenal from the beginning.

Not pretty, not at all, and Palace, well, if they'd just been half as clinical in passing as City up front, they could have had a shot on goal or two more. Zaha was really bright at holding, but his final pass just really poor, you have to be a bit better on the counter -- first time I've really seen Mateta playing and he's a bit lanky but also a good holder, I'd say an upgrade on Benteke.
4 points ahead having played one game more. Liverpool must beat Arsenal on Wednesday or this will be a waste!
This is a disappointing match for Manchester City; I never thought they'd give Crystal Palace three points. Now Liverpool has a chance to close the gap between them and Manchester City with their outstanding match against Arsenal on Wednesday; all they have to do is win the game; however, Arsenal is in good form and wants to qualify for the Champions League next season; I understand the match will be tough, but Liverpool must win in order to get closer to Manchester City.
Arsenal probably have their own idea of what Liverpool should do and who should win this match Wink Manchester City also had to beat Crystal Palace in order not to have wasted time, but it didn't work out. Until recently, almost no one had any doubts that Josep Guardiola would not miss the advantage in points and calmly bring his club to victory in the Premier League, but several misfires allow Liverpool to return to the championship race again. Another question is whether Liverpool will be able to take advantage of this and whether his rivals will allow him to do it. In any case, even the loss of Liverpool's points in the match with Arsenal does not deprive the club of hopes for the title at all, it's just not a fact that City will continue to give such chances.

It is really turning out to be tighter that we ever imagined, to think that a couple of weeks ago, we all thought City was going to run away with the title, but now having played a game more we're just 4 points above Liverpool, the pressure is really intense and i could see it in some of City's play today, there was a little bit of panic and worry cause of what the game meant to them, they knew a slip up would be costly, and it eventually was. I actually thought City had a less difficult fixture list in the final ten games than Liverpool, but they have dropped two points in a game they ordinarily should take all three.

Well, Liverpool aren't going to have it easy against Arsenal on wednesday, they will want to make sure this counts, and all i can hope is that it turns into a little bit of pressure, and possibly a slip up Grin, Arsenal are in good form, so obviously they wouldn't be mere pushovers, but if Liverpool are to win (on Wednesday), then go on to beat watford (on April 2nd), while City wins Burnley (on April 2nd), in their next game, then the encounter between City and Liverpool on the 10th of April could be the title decider.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
Finally, Crystal Palace was able to stop guadiola and his boys. The title race has become more interesting. I have always wanted Liverpool to lift the cup. I think that Liverpool has been under rewarded for some seasons now. Manchester City has lost more games than Liverpool in this season. Other seasons Liverpool will end the league with very high points and yet will not lift the trophy.
I really wish Manchester City will make more mistakes in the coming games.

Very very dissapointing result for Manchester City, they where  so relax in the second half and they were punished with the draw, and allow Liverpool to catch up with them because am definitely sure that Liverpool will win arsenal on Wednesday even though arsenal has improved alot, Liverpool are still far ahead of them and is going to be a big shock to Manchester City not to win the league, because they were topping for a long time with big point margin and now Liverpool is on the verge of not allowing them defend their title.

Liverpool fans will be more than happy about the results. They have a higher chance of closing the gap between them and Manchester City. Arsenal on the other hand have a fair chance to win their match against Liverpool on Wednesday. Arteta has been marvelous this season and winning the game against Liverpool will be something the fans will never forget.

Not that easy, Arsenal wants the Champions League spot, so this will be hard to get.
Looking at the best predicts for that game on Wednesday should be a full time draw.
Manchester City getting it wrong by drawing this game, too bad.. Zaha wasted too many balls with dribbles, and Olishe was poor.

The Crystal palace and Manchester city game was unique one for now. Crystal palace should play a offensive game, instead they made a defence game. Offensive game in football was an needed one irrespective of Crystal and Manchester teams. The defensive game of Crystal was beaten by the Manchester team. Whhen the players sterling,, Jesus was sit in bench. The players like Mahrez to make a good goal was my wish.
So far the two teams have done so well, palace have done a lot of great work both in their attack and defense. City have been trying to break palace defense since the first half of the game but they have not been able to do so because palace defense is doing a great job tonight. From the way this game is going,I doubt if city will even see a goal in this match because palace is playing massive attack and massive defense.

CAN C.PALACE STOP MAN CITY?

They're managing so far but it's only a matter of time before City scores. They've been dominating possession which is expected to continue throughout the match. Crystal Palace players will get tired defending eventually allowing City to score two or more goals. They will be lucky if first half ends in 0-0.

Huh kinda surprised to see 13 shots but haven't managed to score even though Crystal Palace is not a team that has a strong defense their conceding rate is high
Somehow Man City seem more difficult to score while against Man united they managed to score 4 goals lol. If the score doesn't change until the end of course this is an opportunity for Liverpool to get closer maybe the difference is only one point.
Few minutes left but LFC fans are eagerly waiting for the final whistle for sure hehe.

City's second half performance was not what I expected. It's so far away from their impressive first half. It's a good thing odds remain low at half-time which prevented me from betting on them hehe.

Updating as the match ended - yes I saved money from the draw. They had good chances to score but it doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

Crystal Palace 0 - 0 City
as I'm a liverpool fan, I'm praying that today this game ends in a draw or that City lose the game, but of course that will be a difficult task because as you said, crystal palace doesn't have good defense and City have good players
The draw is very possible for the result of this match. It is already minute 85', but still no goals. If Man City doesn't release sterling or Gabriel Jesus, I think there will be no change on Man City attacking , they will fail to score. It is strange that Man City put sterling and Gabriel Jesus on the bench, while they put Foden as their false striker. I don't know what Pep Guardiola thinks about this strategy, but it clearly doesn't work well. Maybe he isn't so serious to get 3 points today.  Roll Eyes

A very tight gamein the  first half of the game.
Crystal Palace are tactical minded, they have closed down the Champions and are creating chances.
Few chances missed by both team's, there should have been a goal in this game already.
They only have to keep their heads in the game.

I just don't understand what's wrong with Manchester City right now. Because they dominated the first half fully and had 14 goal attempts as well. But in the second half so far, they have had only one. This is really horrible and lowering the chance of their scoring a goal in the remaining minutes. We are still talking about Manchester City of course and they can score a goal any time. But they just don't seem to be credible currently. Liverpool must be hoping the game to end like this. This can help them make the point difference even one by defeating Arsenal.
