I really admire Arsenal's great performance for a long time. And now, they are playing a home game against Leicester and maintaining a 2-0 lead too. It is just incredible that they can continue to beat their competitors one by one even though they don't have a very good striker now. Lacazette shouldn't take it offensive but his performance is not like in the old days anymore. I know that he scored a penalty here but he scored only several goals in 20+ games in the EPL so far. And Arsenal even have a potential to take the third place from Chelsea as they have three missing games to play.
Arsenal started this season very disappointing, even worst in history. they suffered successive defeats in the first three games and were slain by Manchester City with a fairly landslide score (5-0), after that they just rose and gradually improved every line and until now their achievements have been extraordinary and continue to push to the top of the standings. Arteta has succeeded in applying the right tactics to his young squad, which is extraordinary for them. Arteta is the brain behind Arsenal's success this season.

Arsenal were undoubtedly impressive against Leicester. I watched the game and love the way they dominated it. Leicester are still not even close to their good old days now. And they struggled too much in this game also. They had only 4 shots in total and the half of them were on target as well. Arsenal had so many chances and won by 2-0 as a result. If they had a top striker then, they would have scored even more I think. But they are still very good at climbing the positions this season. They have started to be my number one contender for ending at the fourth position.
They are underestimated since the beginning and here they are bossing the 4th place .Nobody expected arsenal performance growing that drastics , they are in full confidence now even if they win the rest of the 3 advantage matches they could finish the season above chelsea at 3rd.

You can say that again for Arsenal, it's really surprising how they manage it to get this far with that squad and you can tell, they are in for the UCL next season because, there is no shifting from the fourth place on that league table noose. The league could be considered closed as it is except for spots like the fifth place which is highly dependent on the Spurs performance in there remaining games. Manchester United surely wasn't a good team this season and performed what I tend to see as there worst although, there yesterday's game was some worth interesting, with Ronaldo waking up yo the challenge and claiming the 3 points for Manchester United. Arsenal is gunning down their opponents in unprecedented way these days. They still have 2 missing games, one of it against Liverpool, so one of them or both has to ruin its positive result.Now Everton is really worrying, since they could slip at any moment in the relegation zone, we will see how they will deal with Newcastle next..
Chelsea - Newcastle game was really interesting although there was not more than one goal in this game. Chelsea hardly managed to win the game by a nearly last minute goal. They owe Havertz too much as he saved the team three points. And his performance in the recent times has been fascinating too. As Lukaku is out-of-form, Tuchel has started preferring Havertz in his place in the starting eleven. And it looks like he has done the right thing so far. And I would like to say that Newcastle did a great job in this game. They were nearly getting a point but they couldn't. They lost a league game after a long break still.

Arsenal always produce beautiful football that poor performance on the begining of season was due to the lack of experience for most of their players because they were young and many of them did not play together i think with this win their goal is to get the third place or atleast play in the champions league next season.
Arteta deserves an awful lot of credit for this current Arsenal situation, it was a very difficult beginning of the season for Arsenal, and it looked like it was going to be another disappointing season for them, but little by little the gaffer started fixing things in the team, taking out players that were either underperforming or indisciplined, and that is exactly how a manager should act, you ought to be 'authoritative' in handling your players in order to get the best out of them. After Arteta did all that, the positive results started coming, and it has been that way till now, they are favorites for fourth position, and if you take a good look at the table and with the problems Chelsea are currently having off the field, i would not be surprised if Arsenal finishes in 3rd place above Chelsea, it is very possible.Arsenal's performance is the most consistent compared to other teams competing for the 4th position. If Newcastle had not lost today, then their unbeaten run would have become too long (and they won most of the matches in it) and they could be perceived as serious contenders for the top 3 next season.
Newcastle only needs to win then avoid the relegation zone this season and so far they have been doing a great job on it. As for next season, the whole team might be changing because they are going to spend alot to sign far better players to try and get to top 4 next season. Anyway the match was still decent though, It wasnt a really one sided game and I think they are good enough atleast to play against the other bottom tier team
Anyways congratulations to Chelsea on their match with Newcastle today with 1 0 goals but I was expecting Chelsea to repeat what Ronaldo did yesterday giving the highest goals score, I thought Chelsea will win with a large margin but the match ended with just 1:0 goals.
Chelsea won their game against Newcastle today despite their current situation. They won with a late goal lead from Kai Havertz which Jorginho gave the assist. It was a difficult game for the blues after a defensive game by Newcastle. Thomas Tuchel is doing everything within his capacity to maintain the top 3 position on the Premier league table. On the other hand, Eddie Howe was not happy about the late goal they conceded against Chelsea. Newcastle will have to put in more efforts in other move to the top 10 on the table.
I'm sad about betting on Tottenham against Manchester United but I didn't bet too much money on it though. The reason I believed in Tottenham to win is that they impressed me by their performance against Manchester City in Etihad Stadium before and their results in their last two matches were also perfect. But I'd definitely like to congratulate Manchester United on their huge victory. Thanks to Ronaldo's superb hat-trick, they won with a 3-2 score. Maybe winning this kind of a match can help Manchester United be motivated more for their remaining matches.
