Ronaldo should not be a top priority at Man United because he is old and no longer strong against young players who are still agile, but strangely Ronaldo remains the lone striker that Rangnick uses does he still believe in him for the next few seasons?
This is a little different, I saw when I was at Real Madrid and Juventus, Ronaldo's game was still good, so in Man United a little according to his performance, whether this was due to the age factor or indeed the squad was still not supplying the ball to Ronaldo, so it was a little decreased in performance.
Age aside, Ronaldo is a goal machine. Unfortunately, Rangnick system and tactics have never favored his way of playing. If you recall, Ronaldo was performing so well under Ole doing what he does best.... Scoring goals

I can't access the stats right now, but if you see Ronaldo under Ole vs Ronaldo under Rangnick. Ronaldo under Ole was lethal.

Ronaldo plays worse than before because of his age - that's a fact. But his salary is determined not only by the game, but also by his name. At the moment he is one of the greatest and most recognizable athletes in the world and brings United more money than he spends on him. Another question is how much playing time should be given to him without compromising the club - this is a difficult question because even an older Ronaldo, when in good shape, plays better than other young strikers.

Personally, it's really less about how good Ronaldo is -- he's older, so not as quick, we all know that. His finishing is still right up there with the best though, but if you don't supply, you don't get chances to convert, and that's the real problem when building a squad around Ronaldo (as Juventus found out now he's left).

Key to this then is to have Pogba and Fernandes do their job. Stifle the midfield, get creative and provide the supply.

They can beat City, they always do, Pogba usually key to that. 10/1 for United to win (I have one bet already 9.8 waiting to out more once it's 10/1 or more), with their H2H against City? I'm taking that all day, any day.

Of course, I did not say that Ronaldo is to blame for everything - he undoubtedly holds the highest level (even if his current level is lower compared to the one he was at before). It's hard for me to say what United's problem is (globally) but judging by the fact that forwards are often involved in low-level pressing (and many praise them for this instead of scolding those in whose place this work is being done) suggests that the midfield does not fully cope with its tasks.
9,8 for United to win? Lol its look like a gift. Any team can win a derby and United is not "any" at all, but much better for all their problems.

It will be very disappointing to see Manchester City not winning the league this season after topping the table for a long time, but I still see them winning it just that Liverpool have pick form at the moment and that will put more pressure on Manchester City in their games especially when they will play before Liverpool at matchdays, but I trust pep guadiola in such times he has lot of experience in circumstances like this.
I am not against either of Man City or Liverpool winning the league this season, I am an Arsenal fan I only want the competitiveness of winning the league trophy between the two clubs to linger on till the last day of the league, the best club should lift the trophy, I don't want a situation where the league winner is already emerged with many more matches to go or play, this is very common in Bundesliga when Bayern will have gathered many points ahead of their runner-up, presently PSG has 62 points while their runner-up Marseille has 47 points in French ligue-1, this was formerly prevalent in scottish league when Celtic was dominating the league I believe those leagues wouldn't be competitive like EPL.
Well, the only reason we don't know the winning of the EPL already is because Manchester City have been dropping points unprovoked and I can't blame them because they are still this good without a top attacker. Now, imagine if City had a top striker even if it's the aging Ronaldo with United now, the talk about the title race would have been over  or close to been over by now. The reason other leagues are like that is because the top team has all the best players in that league. We have seen Chelsea and Manchester City win the EPL long before the season was over.. This in no way mean the league is weak, it only means the top team were just on point and super consistent that season.

If the Abramovich statement is true, it is a really brave and human thing to do. I know most of these oligarchs are hardcore criminals, he is probably as well, but if he plans to give all of the money he receives from the Chelsea sale to the victims of the war than he will become a good guy in my book.

With this statement he is basically making a stand against Putin's regime and that takes a lot of courage. Well done Roman.
Yes, it's a decent thing to do and TBH I'm quite surprised he'd do that. I wonder how much influence he actually has with Putin. These sanctions are obviously affecting the oligarchs a lot, and Abramovich is no exception. Will these billionaires be putting any pressure on Putin to stop the war? Presumably the fact that he's selling Chelsea rather than trying to ride this out means that he thinks the war is likely to go on for a long time, and Putin won't back down.
Him selling his club is not really that "big deal" here, I mean it could have been regarding sanctions and all that and he would be de facto forced to sell it and that would be understandable. The real deal here is that he is saying he will help people who got hurt in this war as well, and Ukrainians as well. It means this dude is willing spend all his net profit on people who Putin hurt, and that's a very big balls movement.

I do not know if he is friendly or not with Putin, but he is super rich and we all know that, so it shouldn't really bother him. Not even selling Chelsea would make him poor, he could get rid of the club for free and everything else he owns would still make sure he is a super rich person.

Manchester City will be in search of a nice victory against Manchester United on the coming match week. This is a derby match maybe but Manchester United don't seem to be good enough to bring a huge fight to Manchester City now. And this can make Manchester City's job much easier to be honest. Some people said that Tottenham shocked Manchester City in Etihad. Yeah, I know about it too but I don't expect the same thing to repeat itself here again as long as Manchester United have a passive performance. They are an attacking team but I'm sure that they won't be able to play the way they'd like against Manchester City.
Odds are incredibly good for ManU @7.4 Roll Eyes
It is like City is facing a team near relegation zone and not the 4th team in the table..
Since West Ham will face Liverpool, I assume Arsenal will take the 4th place once it win against Watford this round.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
It was wrong for the team to build the team around Ronadol, who is 37 years old, now he's not having his best time and it's affecting the club results, at this age he needs a team that will work for him rather than him working for the team, I don't think Ragnick will be able to bench him because his presence on the pitch is more important to the team and adds pressure to their opponents.
Of course, the condition that he is already old will not be able to play one man show but still needs coordination, cooperation between players in order to achieve a common goal.  But it turned out that United was not the team that gave it to Ronaldo, so a career at the end of his time at United was not a beautiful moment that is not forgotten to be remembered, just a collection of Ronaldo's unlucky moments throughout his career.

Great, Lampard can apply a fairly tight and disciplined gameplay for Everton even though I previously thought that Manchester City could lead from half time. It's not about ball possession or overall stats, but leading to win by a goal but Everton so far are still playing pretty tight and that makes it difficult for Manchester City to score. Indeed, I do not expect Everton to lose because they are very close to the relegation zone and if this match ends in a draw then surely Liverpool will be closer to Manchester City as the leader of the table.
The good thing about Lampard being the coach of Everton is that he will be bring in discipline in that team.. That not withstanding, Manchester City are known for opening up teams but a discipline side defensively will cause them some problems too and this is what Everton fans and probably Liverpool fans would hope for.
Unfortunately, Everton lost this game but they could raise their head high because they played one of the toughest teams in the League and gave Manchester City a run for their money. The truth is if Everton continue like this, they will be fighting for tops with the big guns. Obviously, Frank Lampard is the game changer for them and the team can only get better.
Everton is in the button of the table,  Everton is a team that is just struggling in the premier league. With the performance of Everton in previous game I already know it won't be easy for them to win Manchester city. Even if Everton lost the game to Manchester City they still played a good game that was full of energy.

Seeing how everything related to Everton has evolved, it is remarkable that they are doing things very well, but I think that thinking of beating Man at the moment, City I do not see it as crazy, because now they have very good possibilities, and I also like it a lot Everton because they have a player who is a friend, his name is Salomón Rondón, he is a great person and also one of the best players, I would like to see this team win. Not only would I like them to win because he is there playing, at least a draw against Man City would be great.

Christiano Ronaldo's game has decreased no one can deny that but what is true for all isRonaldo will always score goals. He is a born and a trained striker. Although, age is taking a toll on his performance. At his age he is still a better striker and hardworking athlete than some 23 year old. I would argue that if Rangnick can manage him well we would get the best from him.

You are right about CR7, however every famous player goes through that bad streak, for his part Messi is also going through the same streak, so much so that PSG gave him free rein so that when he wants to leave he can do it, in the In the case of CR7, I am sure that he will explode at any moment, CR7 is a player who can define a game at any moment, that is his peculiarity.

what if Liverpool never loses any match in the tournament again what chance do both clubs have to take home the championship trophy.
This also depends on City's game because if Liverpool continue to win in all their last matches (including against City) then of course their points will be balanced and this depends on City's game and the difference in goals there.

But even if this can happen, of course it will be very difficult with their busy schedule and the opponents they will face and there are still many teams that are considered top in EPL.
At least there are Westham, City, MU, Arsenal, Tottenham and even Wolves who can be said to be dark horses now

At 37, Ronaldo wasn’t a long-term addition to Manchester United's squad. When he isn’t scoring goals, he tends to be a liability on the pitch as his off-the-ball work isn’t great. Even though his goals in the first half of the season were crucial, if he continues to fire blanks, I am not sure Rangnick will continue playing him. With the way they have been inconsistent in their results, I must say it’s going to be a tough job to steer the club into the top four because are in a precarious position when it comes to qualifying for next season's Champions League and bringing the best out of an out-of-prime Cristiano Ronaldo.

With all his criticism, he is topping all Manchester United attackers in goals, yes age has slow him down but for me he is more clinical than all Manchester United strikers, the likes of Jordan Sancho, Marcus Rashford Jesse lingard and mason greenwood are all below him in terms of goal scoring this shows how average the Manchester United forward players are,for a 37 years player to be ahead of them is a shame.

Manchester City - Manchester United is going to be a really huge game in the league. And it is directly related to the title race too. Manchester City will want to win this game by a clear score. And Manchester United will search for a way to catch their opponent by surprise. As Tottenham did it already not long ago, this can motivate Manchester United to do so. But this time, Manchester City might not let them get a satisfying result when they are in a situation like this. Both teams could score but I still wouldn't bet on it. Manchester City could win by a two-goal difference I think.
I don't know fir sure but I feel its going to be far from a clear win fir Manchester City should they even win at all. This could be the turn around for the league and a golden opportunity for which Liverpool has been looking out for. Manchester United have done really badly lately and winning or even getting a draw of Manchester City would be proving themselves in a way and so, you can expect the team to be putting there all in this game. Not to mention that Pep would be fully prepared and won't leave much of a room for any surprises, he almost got it all wrong in there last game and  as such, he would be very conserved in this one and ensure a good start.

Arsenal's management has underestimated many good players in the past. Aubameyang is an extraordinary player. He could have become a star player in the Premier League. But he has been neglected by Arsenal's management. Now he is ruling in La Liga. And his contribution to the transformation of the Barcelona team must be acknowledged.
Aubameyang is indeed a player who has contributed significantly to arsenal so far, but his often undisciplined attitude forced arsenal to release Aubameyang for barcelona, yes indeed now Aubameyang has shown a good performance with barcelona but as arsenal fans we are not too sad to see that, because all this time, a player, especially a club captain, should set a good example for other team members and not just like Aubameyang did so far at Arsenal, who set a bad example by continuing to be indisciplined.

People can make mistakes, that's normal. He is a talented player. Arsenal could have punished him for a while. Or could pay a fine. But Arsenal have deprived Aubameyang of the entire game. Arsenal should not have kept a talented player like him off the field. At the same time, Arsenal could have sold Aubameyang at a higher price. Financially, Arsenal has suffered some losses. However, I am a Barcelona fan. So I am very happy with Aubameyang's outstanding performance.

If Manchester United actually manages to win the match against City they will strengthen their position in the league. But, I don't think that's gonna happen. to be honest I don't even think that the match is going to be a draw. It should be an easy win for Manchester City.

Their 3 matches in 2021 and their meeting this season against City ended in a unanimous win for City.
They lost by the same score, namely by a difference of 2 goals.
I personally wouldn't have high hopes for this because apart from their opponents at different levels, City also of course now have more motivation because apart from playing at the Etihad stadium they also want to widen the gap with Liverpool.
Surely all statics are going into Manchester City favor, but we need to understand few things Manchester United is also a big club and have some good and quality players even their current season is not good and having some wired issues with this all mostly after having one bad result they give shocking in next match right now I am also feeling most chance are favoring Manchester City but in soccer any result is still possible, and any team can win match with something special effort from any quality player.

Most chances they will not give any chance to their rivals in this match because Liverpool is also having some good record in last few matches, and they are trying their best for level on points if in this match we have any upset then surely Liverpool could be the most beneficiary party from this result.

Well this is football anything can happen, Manchester United will have a head-on with man city in the weekend game what time is the match again I want to set a reminder to follow up with this discussion after the game, what if Liverpool never loses any match in the tournament again what chance do both clubs have to take home the championship trophy.
The weekend between Manchester United and Man City will go a long way to determine who played the final in the premier league facing Liverpool in the final, both Manchester United and man city have a strong point game to play over the weekend and man United will have to double their efforts in scoring more goal as they are down on the premier league table and man city already topping the table with more goals.

Manchester United may not get the cup this season as they perform this season is far below average compared to the previous league performance.
Manchester United will have a difficult weekend because Manchester City is trying to close the gap on Liverpool in order to secure the Premier League title, so they will not take the Red Devils lightly. Manchester United is also fighting for a Champions League spot next season, so they will try their luck to at least get a point against Manchester City. So, let's see how the game plays out; I predict that Manchester United will lose or draw.

What way can you manage a 37 years old striker in the EPL. Firstly he wasn’t a central striker like Edison Cavani or others. He played about 90% of his football on the wings. I’m just surprised that Manchester United are still playing him as their striker amidst this inconsistencies. Ronaldo is evidently not the player he once was at Real Madrid. I would love Rangnick to pair him with Edison to booster the attack because he’s not the Ronaldo we used to know back then. For sure it is a huge task for Rangnick or any incoming manager to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo. That's because of the stature of Ronaldo, who despite his recent scoring woes, remains a footballing great.

Even if he is still in good form but as you said, he might now be better suited to be given a supply role for a pure striker like Cavani there.
Ronaldo prefers to play the ball rather than just waiting in front of the opposing goalkeeper and this of course must be considered by Rangnick because there must be a target man there. But when it comes to targeting Ronaldo it will still be difficult because even if you look at the last few games that have scored goals there are mostly their midfield players.

What if Man Utd wins the match against Man City on 6th March. Man City is the leading team and yes Man Utd is not a poor team to have a easy win for Man City. Man City will have a tough time to win but however, if Man Utd is going to missing all the chances like in the last match, then yes, Man City is going to nail them but yes, I am sure, by now Man Utd team should have learnt where was the problem. Hope they come back on their usual performance on 6th March and prove themselves as one of the best team. There are lot chances for a draw.
Manchester city must win in the match later, because after all Liverpool are starting to press them at the top of the standings and if Manchester City is defeated by Manchester United of course Liverpool will feel quite happy with this because they can cut the distance, but of course in another match Liverpool must can beat Westham to match the points owned by City, but I personally really doubt that Manchester United will be able to beat City because so far Manchester United is still in a pretty bad performance in the league.
