I placed a parlay bet with 3 teams: Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham. What a bad parlay as I have lost it in the first match. I cant believe why Chelsea played inconsistently in Premier League lately while they were so consistent in the beginning of the season.

It seems that the other 2 matches will also surprise me if Man United and Tottenham fail to win. Tottenham vs Leicester might be another draw but I do not think Man United want to lose an opportunity to gain 3 points in this match after failed to keep the win against Aston Villa.

Another poor Premier League performance from Chelsea. Slow and sloppy. No wonder Lakaku is frustrated, no penetration or quality crosses. Changes should have come sooner. Brighton was the better team. I think Chelsea need to learn how to use their big centre forward, instead of back passing and side passing, why not try and get the early ball in to the striker, go out and buy all these attacking players just to tell them to pass it back all the time, usually all the way back to the keeper just to fluff your lines trying to pass it out from the back. Tuchel's tactics are failing the players now. Especially with lukaku in your line. you purely don't know how use lukaku and if not careful, lukaku is leading your downfall. The known factor is that lukaku is a player who waits for others to provide the ball to him. he doesn't look for the ball himself like other strikers do. This is because of his body weight, he can't run throughout.

Chelsea's awful form still continues. I really hoped and believed in them to defeat Brighton last night but they were inadequate to do this again. This is their fourth game in a row in the Premier League that they can't win a game. Something terrible is happening for Chelsea and they need to get themselves out of this poor condition. Yeah, they won't be the champions of course but they still can end the season at the second position in the league standings at least. But as long as they keep this level, Liverpool also will increase a big point gap with them.

As I said before the game - Brighton is not a pushover team. They played well again - this is their 2nd draw against Chelsea in a span of 1 month. Both of them well deserved.
Chelsea is losing some steam - if Arsenal and Tottenham win their games in hand Chelsea will be under a lot of pressure for the top 4 spot.

I expect a good game between Leicester and Tottenham today, both teams need a win. BTTS looks like a decent bet as well.

I think 12 points gap is very bad situation for Chelsea as competitor for Manchester City and has one games left will make 15 points gap between Chelsea and Manchester City. But don't worry for Chelsea fans still left 16 games later and has chance for Chelsea if playing consistent chasing to have the same points with City. But looks pessimistic because next match Tottenham Hotspurs as against for Chelsea and lucky with laying home. But not guarantee how defensive and counter attack building by Antonio Conte trough with Tottenham Hotspur can make Chelsea easy get three points, but still big hope for Southampton as against team for Manchester City can take one or three points from City in this game.

2-3 hours before the match starts I think Chelsea will win the match considering they have dropped a lot of points so far. However, it turned out that Brighton again managed to hold Chelsea to a draw for the second time in a season (away & home) with the score 1-1 for both matches. Not the result I expected actually because I felt Chelsea came to take revenge in that match but they also had to fail despite being ahead throughout the first half to the middle of the second half.

I would no longer think Chelsea would be competing for the title because they are already quite a distance away at the moment with Manchester City. If in the next match City can maintain their unbeaten record then Chelsea will be even further behind. Only Liverpool may still have enough chances to advance as the non-favorite candidate for the title this season with Manchester City.

With the current draw of Chelsea against Brighton, Manchester United can catch up and still go ahead of them.
Brighton was the better side for me, was a sharp header! The goal was powerful, no much impact from Lukaku.
Good to say that Paul Pogba is back with this we can see a better Manchester United... But then still not certain about his next move, could be a possible move out of the club.

Chelsea's game in the rest of the season is not very good. too much play it safe with a draw. the previous meeting with Brighton was also a draw.
maybe this is affected by the busy schedule of matches in several competitions. preparing the team to be ready in a fairly short match schedule of course it drains the stamina of the players.
Chelsea is very close to Liverpool. but to catch City who always plays consistently will look quite difficult.

And after that, they will have nothing rather than waiting for Manchester City to have a bad period of time for at least a few weeks.
