As of the Brentford game, Leeds started conceding many goals in one game. They conceded 2 goals from Brentford, 3 goals from Chelsea and 7 goals from Manchester City. While they were conceding a whopping 12 goals in three games, they scored 4 goals also. Scoring this much in three games is not bad actually. They have been productive when it comes to their attacking line. But especially the last game against Manchester City ruined their world.

I was expecting a competitive match between them as Leeds United played nicely against Chelsea in the previous match. And I have nothing to say now Tongue

. Man City has scored 7 goals in the match. Probably no one expected a game like that. City made a lot of attacks and those 7 goals were scored by six different players. I thought Man City will win the match with 1 or 2 goal lead. That's a huge defeat for Leeds United

I can't wait to see my favorite team (Arsenal) return to play, although now the English Premier League has a fairly tight schedule (boxing day) but of course I hope Arsenal will be able to return to being consistent in achieving positive results, Westham is not an easy team Conquered like last season, Westham is now a pretty tough opponent in the English league and even they were able to appear quite surprising by beating Chelsea and Liverpool, but even so as an Arsenal fan, I am still optimistic that Arsenal will be able to achieve positive results in the Emirates Stadium later .

Leeds got beat up by City. victory is indeed a favorite for City. but with such a large number of goals, I didn't think that would happen.
with a dominant 65% possession of the ball, of course, it makes City very in control of the game. especially with so many shots made against Leeds, it shows how aggressive City's game is. even though they were ahead, they didn't let up their attacks. instead, continue to develop attacks to continue to confine the defense of Leeds.

I just went to analyze something - after City's huge win yesterday, Chelsea, Liverpool and City have a cumulative goal difference of 91 goals. They achieved that in 49 games played, meaning that on average they win by 1,85 goals difference.

You would think that the leader is PSG considering how good their team is and how bad the competition compared to them, but actually they are doing really bad with only 1.22 difference. The biggest winner is Bayern - with an incredible GD of 36 from 16 games - or winning by 2.2 goals difference on average.

The differences between big and small teams keep growing more and more.

Crystal Palace wants the same against Southampton, as Burnley versus Watford. Most likely, I will bet for Burnley's win, Arsenal's win as well, and Crystal Palace to score 2+ goals. From a neutral viewpoint, it was one of those Wow games. Man City was simply brilliant. It was not a matter of Leeds united being defensively poor or something. The truth is Pep is genius and he has really develop this City side into one of the best teams in the world. Man city were just excellent in that game. Man City for the title. Same way it happened last season when they came from behind. This season the focus has been on chelsea and Liverpool but city way quietly grinding out results. Now that they are at the top of the table, we'll see more of results like this where they blow teams away. Pep has mastered the art of winning the epl.

Unbelievable performance by Manchester City after the problematic Wolves game. They had one of their best games against Leeds last night. They don't win a game by 7-0 very often in the end. Grin

Leeds must be shocked and devastated after this embarrassing loss. This was way worse than the performance they showed in the Chelsea game. They didn't even find decent chances here.

Chelsea are going to play a home game against Everton tomorrow night. When we take Everton's current form into account, we can easily say that Chelsea are the favourite side by far. As the game is in Stamford Bridge, they have even a bigger opportunity to win. I remember the Everton - Arsenal game which Everton won by 2-1. But it doesn't happen too often for them in this season. Chelsea should be able to defeat them and move on.

Leeds is really playing with fire this season. It's not just the fact that they are losing a lot, they lack defensive effort, tactical cohesion and compactness that they showed throughout the majority of last season.
If they do not change something really fast, they might find themselves in a real fight for survival.

They are lucky that Newcastle, Norwich and Burnley look even worse than them though.

In other news - Gerrard has started fantastically with Aston Villa - he's got 12 points out of possible 18 - these being lost to Liverpool and City.

Aston Villa got an important win for themselves by 2-0 vs Norwich. The relieving goal came too late that Norwich could have benefited from this chance. But they couldn't. Watkins was the best performing player with 1 goal and 1 assist. But the biggest game was Manchester City v Leeds of course. And Manchester City got an unforgettable win by 7-0 in Etihad. I'm really happy for not missing this game on TV.
