It seems to me like there is another week ahead which the top three teams will keep their current places on. Manchester City would defeat Wolves in a home game by a satisfying result. Maybe Liverpool could have a little problem as Aston Villa are on the rise now. But they would also be the winner. And Chelsea would like to make up for the West Ham loss in the game against Leeds and I think they will.
All three are playing at home and of course they won't waste their chance to get full points, I'm sure all three will win for sure. Maybe about Liverpool - Aston Villa which is Steven Gerrard's first time back at Anfield but unfortunately, Gerrard's mission here is to beat Liverpool but on paper it doesn't seem possible. Aston Villa after being coached by Gerrard did get an improvement but not when playing against a top team, previously Aston Villa lost against Manchester City too but won against a team ranked middle. With that said, I'm not sure Aston Villa will win here because we know the top three teams are currently in their best form so even if there is resistance from the away team, in the end it will still be the same as the home team will win this week's match.
Steven Gerrard has become a new idol for the Aston Villa public after winning three wins in his first four matches, of course this is a pretty positive result for Aston Villa because they were able to get three wins and only one defeat from Manchester City. This week Steven Gerrard will face his former club while actively playing, namely Liverpool, of course it is not a very easy thing to get three points from Liverpool seeing the current performance is very consistent.
The arrival of Steve G is a breath of fresh air for Aston Villa. How not, their performance is very different when trained by Smith and Gerrard at this time.
Even when they were coached by Smith, Aston Villa had a hard time getting up from adversity.
But now it's different with Gerrard they are gradually improving and even now they are starting to push their way into the middle of the table and of course very far now from the relegation zone which at the start of the league they were even one level above that zone.
But this week will be very difficult to pass. Apart from Gerrard who will meet the team that had made himself a legend, Liverpool are also too tough for Aston Villa.
Draw is the best thing for them because it will be very difficult to win this match
