it's true that Man City will be very underdogs but I expect a surprise from Aston Villa.

Clubs often have a brief upturn in fortunes after a new manager joins. Villa have beaten a couple of mediocre teams with their new boss. I think Man City will be a step too far for them, and City will score an easy win.
The big complicating factor here I think is not the new manager, but the return of Grealish... not sure how that will work out, he might score a hat-trick, or he might inspire Villa to try to show that they're better without him.

Liverpool are doing greatly this season, and have only lost 1 match so far. Everton on the other hand are probably in their terrible form. They didn't win in any of their last 5 matches. Therefore, the match is obviously a winning match for Liverpool. Although, Liverpool have to prepare well for the game, because is a home match for Everton. I think the problem with Everton is their defense, they conceded 11 goals in their last 5 matches. Rafael Benitez needs to work on their defence.

I think that Everton - Liverpool is a really tough one. I'm aware of Everton's current performance and results. But when it comes to a Merseyside derby, things can change suddenly. For example, the last four Everton - Liverpool games ended up with a draw. Three of them ended 0-0 and one of them ended 2-2. An interesting game is waiting for us seemingly. But maybe I would give a chance for the Liverpool win in my betslip.

This is a derby and in this match there was always little number of goals,even 1 chance or goal can finish the match for either team. But i think Liverpool can win this because Everton is in really bad form. Man City and Chelsea should also win easily in tonights matches.

I think that Chelsea have an opportunity ahead to open the point gap with Manchester City and Liverpool again. Because they are going to have an away match vs Watford today. And Chelsea are the favourite very highly undoubtedly. While Manchester City and Liverpool are playing tough matches, Chelsea wouldn't like to miss the opportunity and they would beat Watford. The Liverpool vs Everton game is a Merseyside derby. It is not a function of league position or form. The weaker team on paper or the less performing team stumps up with a aggressive performance against the other team. Liverpool might be having a fine form now while Everton are not really having it going their way this season, having managed to grab out just 2 draws and 2 wins from their last 10 games in the EPL. Liverpool are aware of the kind of match they have at hand. Derbies are not easy ties. I think it will end in the favour of Liverpool. Maybe 2-1 win.

Yes, it is a Merseyside derby and it can be a competitive game too. And I saw that Liverpool couldn't have beaten Everton in Goodison Park for some time. If we take this into account also, Liverpool should play very carefully here not to make any mistake. They wouldn't like to finish their current win streak. It is not a too big advantage maybe. But as Manchester United are trying to recover after Ole's getting sacked, they can win this game to make their supporters happy in their own stadium. Another batter for Everton. Everton would be exchanging their position with Leeds if they lose against Liverpool which is certain that Liverpool will secure a full 3 point against Everton. If Leeds can win their next match then the would likely take up Evertons position except otherwise

Everton never get the winner in the last 7 games, this hard situation for Benitez, that possible his position will be very vulnerable to be replaced by another coach. while Liverpool the 4 players ( Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, Naby Keita, and Curtis Jones) have been injured also. Everton can take advantage of this to build back what they get before. the possibility is always there, Everton needs the new spirit as they get won versus Norwich before.

This is a tough game for both teams. Everton wants badly the win while Liverpool doesn't want to lose ground from the first places race.
