I believe united already lost the game even before it started, because you can tell from the line up it was a defensive tactics from OGS, using three center backs, you cannot play a defensive football against the the citizens, you’d surely pay for it. The odds of the match have always been in favor of Manchester city because they were and have been the better side for years now. Manchester United have been struggling under Ole Gunnar’s management.
I also think that Man United cannot face Man City who have a good game plan using a 3-5-2 formation. Because Man United's defense was too fragile,
there were only 3 defenders, it was proven that Bailly made a mistake because he panicked. So, from the start, I was pessimistic that Man United could
win the game. Solskjaer should have used a 4-4-2 formation, by placing 4 defenders. That will make it more difficult for Man City to develop the game.
We can see from the match statistics, Man City really dominated the match, so it was Man City very worthy to win the match. For me, Solskjaer should
be fired, that's the best solution if want Man United's performance to improve and be able to compete with other big teams. Moreover, if Tottenham
and Arsenal win the match, Man United's position will be even worse.
Manchester United were in such a bad situation in this game. Because they weren't able to do much against Manchester City. They got only one shot on target and it didn't end up with a goal. Ronaldo couldn't do his magic this time as Ole's tactical choice was not very good. He didn't prefer Cavani beside Ronaldo and this killed Ronaldo's effectiveness I think. In the second half, they shifted down but still Manchester United were terrible and it ended by this score. I'll say one simple thing here: Ole must get sacked now. Maybe he is not the main reason, we don't know. But still his tactical choices are not good enough.
