Liverpool had only 1 win in last 5 matches, this is a must win game for them against Burnley but will they succeed? I have doubts about that.
Burnley is near relegation zone, they lost their last 2 matches but they usually defend good and don't concede too many goals. Liverpool is also not a team that score many goals, except few matches.
I think the most logical bet for this match would be under 2.5 goals.

I don't know how 'logical' a bet that's going to be, Liverpool haven't won in a while, so I see them being really hungry and could score 3 goals or more in this game, Burnley themselves could grab one as well.

As I've said, Liverpool struggle to score. They didn't even find a goal in last 3 Premier League matches.
Burnley lost games but they only conceded 1 goal each in recent matches. This shows how the bet is logical. It doesn't mean the bet will %100 come but favored odds are for over 2.5 goals, if you bet for under you will get a good odd. It might worth the risk you take.

I'm glad that my prediction was on point. It's sucks to get no recognition for our predictions here but whatever. As long as I win my bets it's not that important I suppose.

I wonder what will Liverpool do against Tottenham next week. Manchester teams get the lead and they have no intention to leave it.

God, save BTC!
Liverpool unexpectedly lost a home game for me! True, the last few games he plays horribly... But to lose to an outsider on home field is unforgivable!
In tomorrow's game I expect victory for Aston Villa... Wink
Although it would be nice if Newcastle broke their losing streak! The odds on a Newcastle win are very attractive - 6,5! Grin

What a bad result from Liverpool, what's wrong with them lately? No win in their last 5 EPL matches and scored 1 goal only on that 5 latest EPL matches.
Diogo Jota injury affected Liverpool he is the reason why Liverpool is in a better position it could have gone worse for them considering their injuries and covid19 problems, Kloop is a genius he will get things right and challenge for the trophy once again.

I think this is not a matter of Klopp who underestimated Burnley by not playing some core players, but more of a strategy because they have a match against another stronger team, remember Burnley's goal in the 83rd minute through penalty a very unexpected for Liverpool players. The results were very disappointing from Liverpool's in last 5 matches.
After Man United and Man City who have improved their appearance now Liverpool must fight again to find their best appearance.

I actually believe that it would not have been much better because if you saw the time from when they made the substitutions,,, there was still a problem from Firmino and Salah to score, although you could see that there were more chances.

This would have been a draw even if not for Burnley's penalty,,, so I think there is no silver lining for this game.

City have played one game less than Liverpool, if they do win that game, they'll be 7 points ahead of Klopps team, likewise United that are 6 points ahead of Liverpool, this gap could gradually grow until Liverpool are no longer in the title race, or even in a top four race, cause the teams below them are really breathing down their neck, looking to snatch their position from them.

Tbh, I don't know what's wrong with Liverpool, neither do I think there's even an acceptable excuse for the poor performances they've been having of late, it's either they improve or they relinquish their title.

The defeat of Liverpool means opened chances for Tottenham, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Everton. The last 2 teams have 2 and 3 unplayed matches.

What a bad result from Liverpool, what's wrong with them lately? No win in their last 5 EPL matches and scored 1 goal only on that 5 latest EPL matches. They might be out of top 4 because Tottenham, Everton and Aston Villa has less game played than Liverpool. Tottenham may overtake their position with 1 win, Everton may do it as well with their 2 unplayed games and Aston Villa with their 3 unplayed games. If this all these 3 teams won their games, Liverpool will be on 7th. They need to do something, more fails will make them harder to compete for the EPL title.

Liverpool 0 - 0 Burnley

35 minutes are played. today Salah is not playing at the beginning. I don't know what Klopp's intention is with this line of players who are playing right from the start
Jürgen Klopp underestimated the Burnley team by backing up 2 good Liverpool players. The kicking odds of 1.24 last night can lose. I'm one of those who bet feel disappointed with this team LOL. 4 consecutive matches do not give a win

Before checking the result, I was wondering "what if" I find Liverpool losing vs Burnley, well wasn't surprised few seconds after although I backed up LFC and expected it to win.. No regret for not watching it.
For ATM and Milan I believe they can hold their spot till the end of the season. For ManU, it can be switched by City and Lyon surely by PSG.
It is a final result and Liverpool lost that match with a late penalty from Burnley. Liverpool shocked by late Barnes penalty

The substitutions with Salah and Firmino did not help Liverpool to score an equaliser. The effectiveness of their forwards and strikers are in troubles recent matches. They shot a lot but did not score hence Klopp need to fix it and help them scoring goals again or their midfielders have to have more distant shots.

The defeat of Liverpool means opened chances for Tottenham, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Everton. The last 2 teams have 2 and 3 unplayed matches.

I told y'all Liverpool fans never to
underestimate hunting Burnley who needs a point to get off from the relegation zone. Liverpool should forget the trophy this season as the refs and Var are not playing to their rhythm, the clubs topping European leagues now ; Manutd, Atletico, Lyon, AC Milan are like elephants on top of a tree, we don't know how they there but they will fall

Game over and Liverpool has just lost at home to relegation threatened side burnley thanks to a Ashley Barnes Penalty kick. The Loss makes it Liverpool first home loss in 68 matches at Anfield and also; Liverpool has failed to score in consecutive matches too. The team seems short on creativity ideas and they remain 6 points off the first position in the league.
Relegation battling teams are always a threat to any team, they will play with all their strength to avoid a drop.
Liverpool should have known from onset that resting one or two key players like Salah might boomerang and lead to a defeat and course that is what happened to them against Burnley, their hope of retaining the title is dashing off weekly and painfully their 68 and 4 years unbeaten home records was broken by an underdog they indeed had a bad game.

Historic day for Burnley! They beat Liverpool who were at a record 68 games unbeaten at Anfield.

Edit: Fun Fact: Highest ever unbeaten home record in PL is 86, by Chelsea.

Liverpool coach Klopp wanted to rest some players today because they have tight schedule and important match with Manchester United in FA cup in just few days, but that resulted in possibly first lost match at their stadium in ages with executed penalty for Burnley.
They are surely in downtrend with only one win from last six matches in all competitions, and this is very important points for Burnley to escape relegation zone.

Its simple if you think about it. Burnley is on 17th which means the team is far below Liverpool's overall squad and few days ago Liverpool was having an all out match against Manchester United so some players would need to be rested for today. To be honest , I dont think that he wont be playing today considering that Liverpool hasnt scored in the first half so most likely Klopp is going to play him on 2nd half

The first half of the Liverpool match ended in a goalless draw. I think they won't lose points this week either. they will definitely win the second half.

Edit:

I took a long time to edit this post because after this defeat I preferred to go to sleep, I even left the computer on. what a shameful defeat, I can't  believe. what the fuck this was? Origi looked like he was playing alone and missed a lot of opportunities. he had a great opportunity to score goal instead of passing to mane and let who knows to score with precision, he preferred to waste the opportunity. this defeat was sad Angry

Liverpool-Burnley match has started and Liverpool have been playing dominantly since the first minute just as I expected. Liverpool lost too many points in the last four weeks. So, I believe they will defeat Burnley so easily.

Except ML for Liverpool's barely 13/10 at best odds. I went for 2+ goals, and a smattering of other options, would have added Salah to score except he's on the bench, but a simple Liverpool win will be satisfactory, given their inability to score recently (the most in years). I've chose a lot of comprehensive markers (corners, cards). Another rather unfamiliar lineup but here we go again. Go Reds!
I am not sure if this kloop strategy is correct, by leaving salah on the bench...
this time Liverpool will fight Burnley Kloop should prepare the best players to score many goals in this match. *hope Liverpool can make more than 3 goals in this match
